Awesome, thanks so much! I’m going to give this a shot right now 🙂

Hey everyone! I was hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction with a quick question 🙂

So, here’s the situation: I’ve got a handful of people who are going to be filming various clips, each lasting somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes.
The plan is for them to upload everything to Google Drive—I'm assuming that'll work since there's about 15 GB of space available. My goal is to grab all those files, edit them together into one cohesive project, and then host the final version somewhere else so others can easily download it.

1. Does anyone know of a solid, free video editing program that can actually handle longer footage like this without crashing or being a total nightmare to use?

2. Also, is there a reliable way to host about ten of these videos on a single server or platform where they'd be easy for people to download?

Thanks so much in advance if anyone has any tips or suggestions! 🙂

Hey there, I was wondering if I could get a quick update to my username, rowdybadger65? I’d love to drop those three extra zeros at the end, mostly because I noticed no other girls on the member list have numbers tacked onto their names like that! 😁

Thanks so much!

No problem at all, just reach out to Nica and they'll get you sorted. 🙂

It’s just one of those things that happens as you get older.
I’ve started using Gynopro because it’s plant-based and has that smooth, oil-like consistency. I apply it every single day, and honestly, it has made such a noticeable difference in how everything feels, plus you can even use it internally before intimacy if you need to.🙂
Hey everyone!
If there happens to be anyone here who feels comfortable navigating radiology reports, I’d really appreciate it if you could reach out to me.
I've got an appointment with my OB-GYN, but they can't squeeze me in for another month, and there are a few things on this MRI report
that have me feeling a bit uneasy. Thanks so much!
Ugh, finally! It feels like I’ve been wandering through a desert looking for a decent conversation, but now that I’ve stumbled upon this lively thread, I just had to jump in. Mind if I join the party? 🙂
Donna Wilson33 said:rowdybadger65, based on everything you’ve described, it really sounds like dysphagia to me—especially since you mentioned that struggle to actually start the swallowing process and that lingering sensation of food stuck in your esophagus.
Have you ever had a barium swallow test done? That kind of imaging is usually great for pinpointing exactly where things are going sideways, whether it's happening at the oral, pharyngeal, or esophageal level.

I haven't gone through with a barium swallow yet, though I am planning to book a private appointment because, honestly, my doctors haven't been taking me very seriously. Since my endoscopy came back clear and my pH monitoring just showed some mild GERD, they seem to think it's nothing major. But dysphagia isn't just one thing; it can be tied to all sorts of different issues, and given how much it hits me right at the start of swallowing, I have this nagging feeling it might be something neurological. I've been dealing with this for ten years now, so I'm not exactly in a frantic rush to fix it overnight😁, I really just hopped onto this forum to see if there were any other folks out there facing similar hurdles so we could swap stories. Thanks so much for the input, everyone!
Hey everyone! 🙂

I’m starting this thread because I haven’t come across anyone else dealing with this specific struggle yet, and I’m really hoping there might be at least one other person out there who understands. If you find yourself in the same boat, please reach out—I’d love to swap stories and see how we’re both managing.

To give you some background, I’ve got a few different health things going on, like asthma and allergies, along with Republican Party/LPR issues, but my biggest hurdle by far is swallowing. It’s been a constant battle for about ten years now. I’ve gone through quite a gauntlet of tests, including a gastroscopy, and everything came back physically "normal." It isn't achalasia or anything like that since food doesn't just get stuck in one spot; it sort of wanders and catches in my esophagus here and there. I haven't pursued more intensive testing lately because, honestly, I’m taking a bit of a breather from doctors right now. My gut feeling is that it might be something involving the muscles or perhaps the nerves.

In practical terms, it means I have to drink tons of water while I eat, and even then, I can only manage very small amounts. I have to chew everything until it’s basically liquid, and even after all that effort, there are still moments where I just can't seem to trigger the swallow. I’m mostly just curious if anyone else experiences this exact sensation. I’ve met people who deal with food getting stuck, but it’s always a slightly different version of the problem than what I’m facing. Hoping someone might chime in. Sending good vibes to you all! 🙂

dustyowl31 said:I have a quick question—my period usually lasts about seven days, but during those last two days, it isn't really heavy bleeding anymore; it just turns into this brownish discharge. I was reading online that this is just old blood leaving the body, so I wanted to check in and see if you all experience the same thing?

Oh, don't worry at all, that is completely normal 🙂

Brenda Rogers71 said:I actually went under full general anesthesia while I was on my period. I made sure to ask about it before I even scheduled the surgery date, and they told me it wouldn't be an issue at all—this was for when I had my gallbladder removed. As for dealing with a common cold, I can't say for certain...

Thank you so much, hearing that part really helped put my mind at ease! 🙂
Just wanted to share this here in case anyone ever needs some insight and happens to stumble upon this thread.
When I had moles removed, I just had local anesthesia, so neither being on my period nor having a cold (even a nasty one) was any kind of obstacle for me. 🙂
Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and ICU: Q&A in Health ·
Hey everyone! If anyone happens to catch this before the day after tomorrow, I’d really appreciate your thoughts. 🙂 I’ve been scrolling through all the discussions here about colds, heavy periods, and surgical procedures, and honestly, it’s a bit overwhelming. As luck would have it, I woke up today feeling a bit under the weather with a cold, and my period decided to show up at the exact same time. Now, I’m just heading in for a quick procedure to have some Botox removed from my face, which I assume will just involve some local anesthesia. Since some of you clearly know way more than I do... do you think they might send me home because of this? 🙂 thanks so much
I’m looking for a little bit of guidance regarding switching my primary care physician. I’ve been living here in Washington, D.C. for a few years now, but I haven't officially updated my residency or mailing address for everything yet, so I’ve still been traveling all the way back to my hometown to see my doctor—which is quite a trek!

What’s the actual process for transferring my medical records and getting set up with a new doctor right here in the District? Someone mentioned that I might need to have my official residence registered in Washington, D.C. first before I can even ask which clinics are accepting new patients. If anyone has navigated this before or knows the specific steps I should take, I would be so incredibly grateful for the help! 🙂

Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Hey ladies! 🙂 I’ve been scrolling through this thread for a little bit... so, here’s my situation: I was in a relationship for four years where we didn't use any contraception, but now that I've been seeing someone new for a few months, I'm seriously considering starting. I actually went to see my doctor, and they walked me through the whole process, but I have this slightly silly question. How big are these pills actually? (I know there are tons of different brands out there!) :P Honestly, I’ve always had a bit of a struggle when it comes to swallowing pills, so I just wanted to check before I dive in. 😁 Thanks so much!
Nancy Grant77 said:Springtime—well, that’s usually what most people think of when they feel this way. 🙂

Hehe... I certainly hope so! But honestly, I’m just really curious to see if anyone else is riding this same wave... 🙂 So, you’re feeling it too, but you're attributing it to the change in seasons? 😁
Hey everyone! I decided to finally start this thread after chatting with quite a few people lately. Honestly, maybe I should have posted this in the psychology section, but what I’m feeling is so physical that it feels more tangible than just "all in my head." I’m not talking about the tragic situations over in the USA—like those radiation concerns or the tsunamis—but rather something else entirely... Is it possible that we’re all collectively feeling a bit "off" because of how everything seems to have shifted lately? Aside from my own experience, I’ve noticed so many people around me dealing with bouts of dizziness, lightheadedness, or nagging headaches. It’s like there's this general sense of unease hanging over everyone. I’m certainly not saying we aren't just imagining things—I know how easy it is to fall into that trap—but I can't help but wonder if anyone else is experiencing this too. 😕
Hey everyone! My issue probably isn't as massive as most of the stories I see scrolling through here, but I figured I’d jump in anyway. I honestly can't remember the last time I posted anything on this forum, so if I’ve wandered into the wrong sub-thread, please just point me in the right direction. For years now, I’ve been dealing with chronic sinus issues, and while I’ve pretty much learned how to coexist with them, there is one persistent nuisance that stays with me. I was wondering if anyone else out there is in the same boat and how you manage that awkward sinus-related bad breath? It feels like it's always lurking in the background. I’m talking constant brushing, chewing gum like it's my job... but is there something specific you use that actually targets the sinuses? Maybe some nasal sprays or a particular trick to help dial down that scent? 🙂 Because at the end of the day, scrubbing my teeth feels like trying to clean a smudge on a window when the actual mess is coming from inside the house... so, any advice would be amazing!

Oh, I know you are. It’s just one of those things, isn't it? Some unlucky souls like us just have to deal with it, though I suppose everyone handles it differently. For instance, all my girlfriends swear by taking Advil, and they say it works wonders for them whenever they're feeling under the weather. For me? It doesn't touch the pain at all. Even using a heating pad feels like trying to put out a forest fire with a squirt gun. Definitely keep exploring your options! But honestly, if you truly feel like something isn't quite right, go see a gynecologist.

Sophia Young3 said:If I were you, I’d probably be dealing with PMS symptoms for two whole weeks straight... whenever my period gets delayed because of stress or something else, my premenstrual phase just drags on forever. Every single day, I’d be sitting there totally convinced that today was finally "the day" because my stomach would be aching, and I constantly had this nagging sensation that something was leaking.

Thanks so much! It looks like luck was on my side after all... 😁 Phew... but man, my stomach was absolutely killing me, and I honestly felt like I was leaking for quite a while. And yeah, looking back, the stress definitely played a part in it. Thankfully, everything is fine now, but it’s a huge relief to know that what I went through is actually a normal thing for the future!

nimbledrifter12 said:So, here's the thing: 😁 I'm 16 right now—turning 17 very soon—and my periods have been absolutely brutal for the last three or four months. It used to be that I’d get some cramps, but they’d pass after a few hours and I’d be fine. Lately, though, the pain just won't quit; it can drag on for two whole days straight. Just today, I actually ended up throwing up everything I ate. 😢
I know all the usual tricks, like taking painkillers or using a heating pad... I've been lying around and walking around the house with the heat pack all day, but honestly, it feels like it's doing next to nothing.
What should I do? My mom keeps telling me it’s no big deal and just part of growing up, but I don't know, I can't help feeling like what I'm going through isn't exactly normal. 🤷

If you ask me, my best advice would be to go see a gynecologist, though I'm sure you've already heard that a million times. Personally, I've actually fainted from the pain more than once. Usually, I'll take two Advil on the first day and another two on the second, and I can tell you honestly that it almost always makes things manageable. It is what it is, though. When you're feeling under the weather, just take it easy, skip school if you need to, and try to eat plenty of fruit... So yeah, that's all the wisdom I can offer!

But now, I actually have a question of my own: 😁
I've been dealing with every single PMS symptom imaginable for a week now. Like, literally everything. I usually experience them more intensely than most people, generally speaking. But for the last two days, I've felt exactly like my period has actually started. It's wild. This morning, I woke up totally convinced I had begun. I have that sensation of leaking, my stomach is aching, and I just feel... well, you know. Has this happened to anyone else? And seriously, how long can this PMS phase actually last? 😕
