I ended up splitting the vote. I honestly couldn't decide because they're both great... but then I thought about Keanu Reeves in Being John Malkovich, and that was enough to tip the scales. I'm going with him. 🙂

Something similar happened to me once. I was maybe thirteen, and the dog was on a leash back then. I was walking down a road near our house with my younger cousin—she was four years younger than me—heading toward the woods. This guy suddenly bursts out of his driveway and starts yelling at me because the dog needs a muzzle. It was a tiny little thing, honestly. I wasn't just shaking from fear, but from pure anger... it was too much. And to make matters worse, there are always several dogs running free around here... it's been like that for years.
I really have to wonder... what goes through someone's head to let them scream like a maniac at two young girls?

I think reality works a bit differently😉. I know what I am, and I know what I experience firsthand, along with others facing the same "issues."
I don't lecture anyone about how they live, and I certainly don't want to be lectured myself... but I'll be blunt: I'm not eating carrion just because someone keeps shoving it under my nose.

My doctor actually told me to use Total Care and said they recommend it to everyone.

Sometimes it doesn't even need to sit long—just an hour or two—before the taste turns really weird. Gross.

I had this exact same worry about a year ago (I didn't think to check the forums 😁 ), once I started getting these paranoid ideas about kidney stones c-c-c... after I saw pieces in my dishwasher filter that were sharp as razor blades. I started buying bottled water, but it hit my wallet too hard, so that didn't last long.
Back then, I was living in NYC.
And I could definitely detect a weird smell in the water, almost like I was boiling cloves, and it would turn yellow... gross. Not to mention those white deposits that were constantly building up around the sink and the faucets 😠

Anyway, I've heard plenty of times that the water is fine to drink, but what does their official talk matter when it has a metallic taste...

It’s great how you present certain things as absolute facts based on your own perspective... but do you actually go to the theater when our movies are out? Do you know the actual turnout? Besides, judging how many people watch American films just by looking at the line at the cashier doesn't really hold water. My take is simpler: they'll be on streaming in a few months anyway. I'd much rather spend $10 on something I'll have to wait years to see.

The Cashier is actually a pretty lousy film (not that I care about those kinds of labels), and just because someone critiques a movie doesn't mean they should be burned at the stake. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. For instance, I personally think The Cashier is bad. It’s not the worst American film out there, but in my book, it’s a 2/10. (I actually think Matanic is a decent guy, which doesn't mean I'll praise his work if it isn't worth praising)😍

There’s no actual attack on him here because he dislikes The Cashier, nor is it about his orientation (at least not from my perspective). It’s because he seems to have convinced himself that he’s the only one in America—hell, maybe even the whole US—who knows how to make a good film, and that anything from the West is automatically superior. Well, he can go ahead and start filming then. America will be eternally grateful. 😳

What is it about our movies that actually bothers you? Is it because they feel real? The swearing? The fact that they take inspiration from others? I'm struggling to follow your logic... I'm trying to picture your version of a perfect movie. I doubt Jack Chen would star in it because there's too much violence, and I highly doubt 'fast and furious' would make the cut because of the language. Maybe 'the princess diaries'?

And I don't get why you're making such a big deal out of this. I already told you—if watching them makes you sick to your stomach, then just don't watch them. Are you looking for an argument or something...?

p.s. I suspect you've only seen a few trailers rather than the actual films themselves 😳

The truth is, there have been some truly terrible films. Now, Beatrice isn't quite that bad, but she's nothing special either. Personally, I found four-row and life with cockroaches to be absolute snoozefests. Maybe I missed a few... who can even remember them all now? If I had to pick the good ones, I'd say the American Story, Sunken Graveyard—which could have been stronger, but still—How the War Started on My Island, Melita Žganjer (is that the one with the three men?), and a very good one for me personally, Rider. Maybe Dreaming Gold, 100 Minutes of Fame, and What is a Man Without a Mustache belong on that list too, though I haven't actually seen them yet, unfortunately...

I have to admit, though, I’d much rather they released an episode every day. It makes it easier to follow. By the time the next one drops—if they're only doing once a week—I’ve already forgotten everything. And that's not even counting when they skip weeks entirely... 😠

Who knows if season five is even finished filming. Don't forget, Jen just had her baby recently.
