^^Honestly, there are just too many "downsides" to being a moderator, at least from where I'm sitting. I mean, if you could just be a mod for the sole purpose of reading everyone's private messages—and maybe hang out in that exclusive PDF group where only mods are allowed—then yeah, I might actually consider applying. But otherwise? Not really. 🙂

Sure, there are some perks—you can always snoop through other people's pm-ov messages🙂 but honestly, most of them aren't exactly anything you'd call appealing.

I didn't mean I was just sitting there in silence waiting to hand out bans, per se... more like I just don't get sucked into those petty little personal arguments too often.

Since nobody seems willing to give a straight answer to the guy (at least not a sensible one), I’ll step in. I actually started a similar thread when I first joined this forum 😁 (though it got locked because people wouldn't stop spamming it). First off, you need to hit a certain post count—just ask someone around here for the specifics. From there, it's either a matter of waiting for the mods to notice you might be a good fit—since you aren't constantly picking fights, you don't insult people, you have zero bans or warnings on your record, and you generally act like a decent human being, which is what a moderator actually needs to be—or you can just send a DM to one of the current admins depending on which section you're eyeing. Once they discuss it among themselves or check their current roster, they might reach out via PM to see if you're still interested. Then, from the pool of interested candidates, the mods pick whoever they think is the best fit for the job 🙂 anyway, hope that clears things up for you 😁

Are we talking full 3D renders here, or just basic elevations? I mean, should I be sketching out the floor plan and the side profiles too?

Maybe throw some music in there, but keep it low—you know, just enough so those louder peaks hit occasionally. If you go too loud, even if it’s just barely above a whisper, it might end up pulling focus away from what you're actually trying to present 🙂

It’s the same thing for me. Every time I click "Go to first unread post," it just gives me some "Thank you for your report" message and kicks me right back to the main forum index 😠

The state is blatantly violating the Constitution here. Look, the Constitution is the Constitution—even a chimpanzee couldn't just rewrite that on a whim. You’ve got to appeal to the EU or some other higher authority if you want actual recourse. And regarding this whole nonsense about not being allowed to leave the blinds up or keep windows closed... what about people with asthma? We need regular ventilation in our living spaces just to avoid a massive attack. I know firsthand because I deal with it myself. There should be a way to take this to a human rights court—I can't quite recall the exact name of the institution right now. Anyway, is anyone actually heading down to Times Square for that protest?

Personally, I always felt No Doubt was better than just Gwen Stefani on her own. They had this edge, this quirkiness that just worked—even if I wasn't exactly a die-hard listener. I’d love to see them reunite one more time.
