Unbearable itching in Health ·
Look, if your skin is feeling like a desert, maybe give Johnson & Johnson a shot, or even something from Belline. I know, I know, sounds like some generic wellness influencer advice, but seriously—just head to a CVS or Walgreens and tell them you need a body wash specifically formulated for sensitive skin. If you're talking to a female pharmacist (which worked wonders for me), they aren't going to try and upsell you on some overpriced luxury nonsense just because they can. In my experience, you really can't go wrong with Johnson & Johnson; it’s a bit more spendy than the cheap stuff, but it won't break the bank either. 😉

Honestly, you might just be reacting to your body wash or whatever fabric softener you’ve got running in the laundry room—like, once you start sweating, it all comes to a head and triggers a reaction. I’d say try switching over to something made for sensitive skin or even just sticking to basic soap and water for a bit. And hey, maybe ditch the softener entirely for a while just to rule it out as the culprit. Once you see if that helps, you can always circle back to a sensitive version later.
Same here, honestly!😢
brightmason3 said:Basically, I'm talking about my mom. She’s 46, and she just told me her left leg is tingling and there's this weird numbness spreading down her entire left side... 🤷 She thinks it’s probably just the weather changing, but I get the feeling she's downplaying how much it actually hurts because she’s terrified of doctors—even thinking about stepping foot in a clinic stresses her out. Plus, she's been complaining all morning about some tightness around her heart area.

Look, she absolutely needs to get checked out. You didn't mention if she's on any birth control, but if she is, those pills can sometimes cause issues like this that require stopping them immediately. Also, any kind of pain in the left arm or chest that starts radiating is a massive red flag for potential heart trouble, which could lead to a heart attack.
In certain scenarios, numbness on the left side can be linked to benign epilepsy, though that usually shows up in people closer to their mid-20s, so we can probably rule that out here. Regardless, she needs to see a doctor ASAP.
I’ve been through the whole thing—both the actual diet and those miserable "un-diet" phases—and honestly, it just drove me up the wall.
Lately, I’ve finally embraced actually enjoying my food, which means I’ve definitely packed on a few pounds, but man, the payoff is worth it; I have way more energy and I'm actually happy, instead of those days where I was just a walking cloud of irritability, snapping at everything that used to make me smile.
And look, when the urge to slim down eventually hits, I’ll just scale back my portions—especially dinner—and maybe hit the gym a bit more often. Why turn it into some massive, complicated ordeal if you can just keep it simple (and yeah, I'm talking about people who aren't dealing with extreme medical issues here)?🙂
Just be kind to yourselves and prioritize your health, because you’re at your best when you feel good!

Haven't seen you in ages. Word on the street is you've gone totally off the grid, let your hair grow out, and basically vanished into thin air... 😉
Man, talk about a blast from the past!
Fainted / Passed out in Health ·
So, last Sunday I was sitting through Mass and honestly, I felt like I was overheating the entire time. I figured I’d just step out for a second before Communion, but then came that part where everyone kneels—and let me tell you, it was like my body just decided to short-circuit 🙂. My head started spinning, I saw literal sparks dancing in front of my eyes, and suddenly I was drenched in a cold sweat while my ears felt like they were under massive pressure. It was game over. The next thing I knew, I was outside with two total strangers, feeling completely numb and disoriented, and I still had the trek back home to deal with. To top it all off, I found myself standing in the shade by the entrance today just trying to catch my breath. I have low blood pressure, so I think I'm done playing games with my health like this. 😉
It's hitting 105 degrees... in Health ·
Looks like we’re in for a cold snap right at the end of the month, which is just perfect timing since I was planning on hitting the beach...
I honestly can't tell which part of this is worse. 🙂
Headaches after washing my hair? in Health ·
Honestly, you might just be dealing with some kind of scent sensitivity. For instance, I can't touch L'Oréal Pantene without getting a headache so intense it feels like my brain is vibrating. Ever since I ditched that stuff for something else, everything's been smooth sailing.
Help! I'm addicted to this forum! in Psychology ·
Look, if you’ve got a laptop, just hop online while you’re sitting at around fifty percent battery, then don't be stingy with the charger—just let the thing run until it completely dies. Go grab a coffee, take a long walk, or instead of a quick rinse in the shower tonight, actually sit in a tub for a while or go down a rabbit hole testing out every single moisturizer and hair gel you own. Put on some old CDs, sign up for an aerobics class, or go hit up a local library to borrow some foreign language textbooks and work through a few pages every day. Stock up on DVDs and make sure you watch at least one every single night, or honestly, just get a pet if you haven't already... If you can actually pull all that off and survive the boredom, the addiction won't stand a chance.😉
No, seriously, try one of these things when the cravings start hitting hard! I really hope it helps!🙂
Struggling to sleep? Any tips? in Health ·
I’ve been scrolling through the threads and noticed someone already chimed in regarding the scientific name for Melissa officinalis L., so I won't beat a dead horse there. That said, if you want a little extra help, grabbing some essential oil is a solid move—you can find it at places like CVS or Whole Foods for maybe $8.25. Just make sure you look for the Latin name on the label to be sure. If you’re using an aroma diffuser, drop about four drops in there, but don't forget to add plenty of water if you actually want to get some sleep; if the scent is too concentrated, it might actually wake you up, whereas diluting it with water helps create that calming vibe. Also, provided your skin isn't super sensitive, you can just drip a few drops onto a cotton pad soaked in warm water—or even better, soak it in some tea—and rest it on your temples for about 15 minutes. 🙂

I’m not sure if anyone else has already thrown this out there, but personally, I swear by loose-leaf Melissa officinalis L. tea—skip those cheap little tea bags, they just don't hit the same. You can usually find some decent bulk stuff over at Whole Foods. My go-to move is to toss about four teaspoons into a small cup of hot water and just sip it while it's lukewarm without adding any sugar. Generally speaking, lemon balm is great for chilling out and taking the edge off, so I figure it might do the trick for you since I'm guessing your insomnia is basically just stress running wild. Fingers crossed it helps.😉

Jane Doe?😲
Nah... honestly, she’s not even playing in the same league as them, but hey, that’s just my two cents!😈
Today, The New York Times is dropping a CD as a little Valentine's Day gift, and it actually features a track by Detour—can't quite remember which one, but I'm betting it's Month.🙂
So, if you're curious and haven't checked it out yet, go for it. But if you aren't into that kind of thing, then just forget it!😬

So, did anyone actually make it out to the concert? I know they were hitting all the big spots, like New York City, Seattle, San Francisco, and Charleston... 😉

Where is this attitude coming from? 🙂

What’s the consensus on this new group that popped up after Detour split? Are we looking at an upgrade or just a downgrade?🙂
What’s everyone thinking is the standout track from the new album?
