Opinions vary on whether it holds up, but I can't weigh in since I haven't seen the original.🤷

I attended the midnight premiere this past Saturday and, I must admit, it caught me off guard.
The film is excellent. A solid horror-thriller that effectively tests one's nerves through sudden, unpredictable moments.
In terms of pure scares, it stands right alongside the Curse (though I am referring to the Japanese version; I haven't seen the American one).

Douglas Gray7 said:So, we picked up a cake from Tiffany & Co. over in Suburbsville, and honestly? We were blown away. Like, completely floored. Even my guests were practically begging for seconds... and I don't even need to mention how it looked, since you can see the photos right there in my signature. All in all, a solid 10/10 for me.

We considered getting their cookies, but ended up going somewhere else simply because they were closer to us.
I definitely agree that they are delicious. I should probably be banned from their shop just so I don't eat everything on display!
I am terrible!

Has anyone actually been to The Sweet Spot lately? I'm trying to get a sense of what their dessert prices look like... any insight would be appreciated.🙂

We ordered from them. $22/lb. They are excellent.
One issue: when we arranged everything a month before our wedding, the owner promised to deliver the sweets to both our house and the venue. When we showed up two days prior to drop off the serving boxes, they told us we had to pick up the home portion ourselves. Consequently, the groom had to drive all the way out to the suburbs on his actual wedding day just to get the dessert.
Get everything in writing first.!!!!!!!
Otherwise, the desserts were phenomenal!
The cake itself was part of the package from the restaurant we used.
Here it is, the chocolate cake.

The decorations came from our local florist, Mirella.

Can you believe I forgot? I spoke with them a month ago and yet... it slipped my mind. 🤣
We will be meeting there soon to finalize the details. I will have more information then. 👍

We have secured the bakery in the Appalachian Mountains for our desserts...😍👍

much appreciated.😁
Blood work results in Health ·
I had bloodwork done last Friday and picked up the results today. I am somewhat surprised by the findings; some markers are elevated while others are low.
To be specific, my ESR is 25 (ref: 4-24), BUN is 2.6 (ref: 2.8-8.3), GGT is 45 (ref: 9-35), UIBC is 60 (ref: 26-59), and total cholesterol is 5.1, where it should be under 5.0.
😕
I would appreciate insight from anyone knowledgeable in this area. These tests were merely routine, performed every six months. Since my previous results were always normal, I haven't seen a doctor since. Should I schedule an appointment now?🤷

The cholesterol levels are particularly puzzling. My diet consists of fruits, vegetables, and fish, with minimal meat consumption. I avoid eggs and white bread. I use flaxseed oil and a small amount of butter, along with olive oil. I cannot recall the last time I had dessert, and I rarely consume sweets—perhaps a bit of dark chocolate once every two weeks. I monitor my nutrition closely. What am I doing wrong?
What's an ideal weight? in Health ·
A range of 175 to 210 pounds is roughly where BMI stays within the normal bracket. While 165 pounds is technically normal, I suspect that would be too thin for your height. In my view, 185 to 195 pounds would be the sweet spot.

Great, thanks.
Could you tell me how much an appointment costs? And are there any extra fees?🤷
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I need recommendations for a private dermatologist. I’m looking to book an appointment to address some persistent acne issues; my skin either becomes excessively oily or gets incredibly dry and starts flaking. It’s quite frustrating.
My partner is also dealing with dandruff—specifically seborrheic dermatitis, if I have that term correct.
We are hoping to find the right treatment plan to resolve these issues once and for all.🙂
Ingrown toenails in Health ·
That sounds miserable; I really feel for you. You should see a dermatologist or your primary care physician—they’ll likely prescribe some antibiotics for it.

I once dealt with an inflammation along my jawline that looked like a pimple, but it was actually sitting right over a vein. I ended up taking penicillin because the infection was quite nasty.

Hopefully, it clears up quickly.👍
How long should I stay on birth control? in Health ·
I have been on Cilest for six years due to PCOS and uterine issues. My gynecologist assured me last September that continuing the medication is harmless, noting that stopping could lead to an unplanned pregnancy.
I plan to discontinue them next summer before my wedding, as I intend to conceive. However, I first want to detox from the hormones for three or four months.😉
Ophthalmologist recommendations? in Health ·
Go to the community clinic in Seattle. They accept patients regardless of whether you have a referral. A consultation costs $40 without one, and if you decide to buy glasses at LensCrafters located in their building, they’ll actually deduct those $40 from the total price.👍
Scalp examination by a dermatologist in Health ·
I am in complete agreement with Eric Ruiz. My dear friend was prescribed a certain shampoo and scalp treatment; it proved effective for perhaps three or four applications before losing all utility. Seek out a private specialist instead. Their services are superior, albeit more costly.😬

Thanks for the assistance, everyone. It's resolved.🙄

😠 Please move this thread if necessary.

I have a white gold engagement ring. I wore it on my left hand for three years, moved it to my right hand for two years, and returned it to my left hand two weeks ago. Five minutes ago, a nasty rash appeared.😎
The skin where the ring sits is swollen, incredibly itchy, and painful. I have never had a gold allergy. Is it possible to develop one suddenly?😬
