Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
urbanmarlin15 said:Hey, what's wrong with the track though??

Major props to Alonso🙏

The track is garbage, honestly. In my book, any new circuit needs at least two distinct lines through the corners, and you need cars that are actually fast enough to make overtaking even possible...

And we just saw it right here—even when a car is two seconds faster per lap, they can barely get past anyone, let alone actually hunt them down.🙏

man, help me out here... who exactly are you talking about when you say "them"???
What do you mean by "handed out wins"? We're talking about one controversial victory and losing 4 points. Look, man to man, Lewis Hamilton earned this. If things were actually fair, he would've been penalized again in Monza too, so I don't really get why everyone is getting so worked up...

Listen, guys, Massa is absolutely crushing him in head-to-head matchups. And I’ll say it again: it would be a total sporting injustice if he doesn't become champion, because based on pure track results, he's beaten both Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton....

I mean, sure, rooting for someone is great, and honestly, I wish Fernando Alonso could win every single day, but sometimes things just go sideways like they did today, and expecting a repeat of that is just unrealistic. 🤷

And even if it was just about the car, Kimi Raikkonen would still be fighting for the title right alongside Heikki Kovalainen, but hey, life isn't always a fairy tale, is it?

Edward Howard2 said:So, Hamilton was basically saying he got stuck right behind DCa because he just couldn't find a way through... which is really just a polite, driver-speak way of saying he was getting spooked. It’s like when you're driving down a narrow street in Chicago and someone pulls out unexpectedly—suddenly you're gripping the wheel way too tight because you're terrified of a fender bender. He was playing it safe because the pressure was hitting him hard. 😁

Man, did you see that? Ferrari was absolutely crushing it today. It was like watching a powerhouse like Ford just steamroll through everything. Meanwhile, Hamilton? He just wasn't there. He was lagging way too far behind—like, two full seconds off DC's pace. There was just no way he was going to pull off a pass at that speed. Just totally out of the hunt. 🤷

Sure, send me the link....

But seriously, I'm not one of those people who’s gonna pray for Hemićev’s car to blow up right now...

Let him drive. If he actually stays ahead of Massa by the end, I'll be the first to give him props, but this whole giving up thing? It’s just a damn shame...

Look, there's a massive difference between hating on Ferrari and Massa and actually looking at how bad things are on the track....
I honestly don't get some of you guys. Like, what kind of logic is that? Praying for a neighbor's cow to die, or wishing for a Ferrari or Mercedes engine to just explode just so your favorite driver can take the win... it's weird.🤷

I don't see how anyone could celebrate a win under these conditions.🤷

I mean, what are they even thinking? There's no way Alonso is gonna miss out on this one 🙏
Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
who actually helped Kimi get that wall back up🙏

Massa owes him way more than just a thank you for holding onto that seat🙏

stormybadger8 said:🙏 Exactly. It’s about damn time. Honestly, it feels like justice was finally served—Massu and Ferrari got exactly what they deserved since the FIA refuses to step up and do anything about it.☕

So, like, why would they even think about giving Massa a penalty? I mean, seriously? The guy was absolutely flying out there. He was easily the fastest man on the track, just pure pace. It doesn't make sense to penalize someone just because they're crushing it and setting the pace for everyone else. It feels totally off. 🤷

Just gotta remind you, man... he was sitting pretty in P1, totally cruising, then just gave it up two laps before the finish. And today? Same story. Leading the pack only to get knocked right out of the fight because the crew messed up. Just pure stupidity from the pit wall, honestly.

Honestly, looking at how this whole season has played out, it all points to the same thing: Massa has been absolutely dominant. Like, seriously, if you just look at the big picture, it’d feel totally unfair if he didn't walk away as the champion. It’s just common sense at this point.

Look, man, he put it all out there on the track. Whether people actually liked what they saw or not is honestly beside the point... he did his thing.

Look, at the end of the day, someone might be the favorite on paper, and I don't care if people love him or hate him—when it comes down to those head-to-head title battles, Massa wins. Period. It’s just what he does when it’s within his control. 🙏

I mean, looking at it broadly, the race was absolutely wild and threw a ton of curveballs, but let’s be real—the track itself? Total garbage. 🙏

lonebison19 said:You’re honestly one of the few people out there saying that! OFF TOPIC

Look, I'm totally against cutting chicanes because that just isn't how you race...
Man, if someone wins fair and square, no big deal, I'll be the first to shake their hand. But that move? That was dirty, plain and simple, and they should've been penalized. It's like that stuff we saw at Monza where they were just shoving everyone out of the way...

I mean, look, I like Lewis Hamilton and I really want the FIA to stay out of the fight as much as possible...
I think Massa can hold his own on the track, but honestly, you need a bit of luck and for Ferrari to stop being so arrogant with those damn lights 🙄

lonebison19 said:I mean, Belgium!

Look, you can't argue with that—the guy totally deserved the penalty back there...
Personally, I'm just praying the championship doesn't get decided by some technicality before the final race. If it comes down to the track, I think Massa is gonna outclass him in those head-to-head battles...
Honestly, his biggest nightmare isn't even the other drivers; it's gonna be his own crew or just total chaos in the pits.😁

lonebison19 said:Way to go, Lewis Hamilton!!! LET'S GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, huge win! Honestly, justice has finally been served... it actually feels even sweeter than getting it through some courtroom ruling!

what do you mean by "justice being served" here? 🤷😕
Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
Edward Howard2 said:Fernando Alonso is totally gonna pull this off ☕

I'm with you on that...
Man, I'm just sitting here staring at Massu stuck at the back of the pack, and honestly? He was easily the best one out there until the Ferrari pit call messed everything up. ☕

It sucks, he just can't catch a break, but hey, nothing's set in stone yet. 🙄
Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
silentbear49 said:Why do they even let Massu through the pit lane?? He’s gonna end up vacuuming up everything in his path 😁

Man, give him a break... he didn't do anything wrong...
They should just grab a few people from the crowd to top off the fuel, I bet they could set up a decent bar or something 🤣
Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
Honestly, this penalty is well-deserved for Nico Rosberg and Kubica. They basically played the system and took advantage of those entries, so they're getting what's coming to them. 🙏
Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
man, we're really gonna lean on those "gentleman's agreements" now? kimi's just gonna let mass slide into 16th place just to help him chase that championship title 🙏😂

Morgan Murphy7 said:just playing the friend card, isn't she? 😁

man, tell me about it... honestly though, today feels like it's Mass's day 🤣
but let's be real, unless we get some crazy rain, he's probably looking at zero points 🙄

Kyle Torres60 said:I honestly just need to know what on earth he did to deserve this from Mass

edit - seriously, screw Pike, I don't get how anyone lets that guy behind the wheel of a freaking Formula car

it doesn't even matter, thank God we saw with Kimi that the car isn't everything🙄

holy crap, man, this is absolutely insane 😁

If Massa doesn't walk away with the title, you can point the finger straight at Ford. Honestly, I’m losing my mind here—it’s getting ridiculous. They've completely botched it for him in several races already. Just a total disaster, man. 👎
