so what are we even supposed to say now🤷
15. Miami Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
what’s up with all that extra mass he’s hauling around??? what is even slowing him down like that???

anyway, Edward Howard2, screw those tires, honestly. I'd much rather deal with that than lose two whole seconds a lap trailing behind True

Melissa Price6 said:Look, Kubica just forced his way through... you think they're gonna hand out a penalty for that? ☕

Nah, they won't penalize him, they'll probably just hand the win over to Massa instead. 😁

Not a bad race, honestly. 🙏

Kudos to Alonso 🙏

he’s gonna be heavy on fuel, basically a tank out there, but honestly? nobody’s gonna be able to pass him because they'll just be stuck behind. if he can pull off just one pit stop, he could seriously shake up the standings. plus, you gotta consider how likely it is we see a safety car pop up—and let's be real, Alonso has been proving himself to be one of the smartest tactical minds out there lately, so the order is definitely gonna get messy. even with him driving like a total maniac, he could easily walk away with some points.

I'm totally with you on that. Edward Howard2 is spitting facts here. Honestly, between Alonso and those Mercedes strategists, they're pretty much the smartest guys on the grid this season.🙏

wait, which Kubica 😕does he even drive for anymore??? I don't see him outrunning Lewis Hamilton or anyone else much lately🤷is he that guy with the big nose😕

come on Felipe, you got this! 🙏

So, I heard this crazy rumor floating around that Massa is basically running on two cylinders right now 😉
It's just the latest gossip, honestly, though there’s some unconfirmed chatter that Kimi is going to do whatever he can to help out...
The early word is they might actually strip 100 horsepower off Kimi's car just to give it to Massa 🙏

I mean, even if he does, it feels like a long shot for Kimi to really impact the title fight. He needs to be outperforming both Lewis Hamilton and Massa, and let's be real—that's been pure science fiction lately 🙏

Man, the conspiracy theories are flying left and right 🤣

Honestly, I’m kind of enjoying this whole circus—from the claims that Mass is rigging the headlines to all this talk about illegal engine tuning 🤣

Keep 'em coming, guys. I'm just waiting for the absolute wildest theory to drop 🙄

And once we're done, someone please explain to me what the hell FIA and their crew actually gain by handing Ferrari and Mass a win on a silver platter...

And is Lewis Hamilton actually pulling those shady moves just to serve the FIA??

Because if so, I might have a little theory of my own to throw into the ring...
So, get this: Hamilton is basically a secret agent from England out to wreck everything because his whole mission is probably just to screw over McLaren...

He basically threw away last season's title on purpose, and now he's gonna let Ferrari slide into the lead during the final races this season 🙏

Forza Ferrari, damn them all to hell.

meddo, man, I feel your pain on this one😍 🙏

Arthur Doyle70 said:He’s still leading the pack when it comes to gifted wins, and honestly, he just picked up another one today.☕

Honestly, thank god they didn't hand out any more of those... I mean, one more or one less doesn't even matter at this point, but man, what a relief.
You know that old saying... life's just a roll of the dice, man. One minute you're up, the next you're down. It's like how some people win the lottery and then lose it all on bad bets in Vegas the following week. It's just how the world works. God gives, and God takes away. That's just the way it goes.

Man, I don't know what he was missing before, but they finally gave him exactly what he needed today. Now he’s right back where he belongs... totally level.

Honestly, it’d be way more fair if they just kept things 1:1... like, you know, without all those extra points being handed out. Just keep it simple.🙏
I'm just messing with you so you don't think I'm actually being serious.

placidsurfer9 said:Man, even that crane situation was garbage. Everything today is just trash. They always mess things up, whether they're helping McLaren or working against them... but this kind of stupidity? It’s never happened before like this.

I'm totally with you on this—today was just completely unnecessary...

Props for the race itself because it was absolutely killer, but seriously, we need some actual rule definitions....

Because, honestly, if I'm being objective here—and I can say that because I actually like Hamilton more than anyone else—I think Hamilton played it really shady there....

I mean, looking back at the replay, he basically gained his advantage by cutting through the chicane....

Look, if he was fast, he was fast, credit where it's due, but he's also been pinning people against the track for the last few races. Like, remember that wild race when he boxed both Massa and Picquet in and nobody said a word? Nothing.

Man, he really played them, but hey, life goes on. Today, Kimi totally played him for a fool by boxing him in perfectly, and then Lola goes and takes the shortcut through the forbidden zone....
And if we're talking about "letting him pass," he barely cleared half the race car. Come on guys, let's be real here. 🤷

To me, this feels exactly like what happened with Kovalainen and Robert Kubica during that first pass. Kovalainen was clearly faster, but Kubica shut the door right in his face, and that was that... What, should Kovalainen have just cut the chicane because of it???🤷

fadedpanther4 said:You’re talking about actual ARGUMENTS, and then you drop this nonsense above. 🙄
Man, rustystag7...

Alright, fine, let’s play it this way—who actually has more wins than Felipe Massa???
Look, if we're being real about Massa, even accounting for that unlucky loss of 10 points—you know, that stroke of bad luck during his absolute best race where he was sitting 5 or 6 points ahead of everyone else—he still holds his own...

So, I'm not talking about "what if" scenarios or some imaginary timeline, I'm talking about the season as it actually happened right in front of us...

All that stuff about how you see every other driver ranking just below Massa? Yeah, that's a whole different conversation.

I mean, look, massive respect to Robert Kubica, Kimi Räikkönen, Vettel, and the rest of that crew, I really do. But right now, looking at finishing positions, Massa is easily one of the top drivers out there. Seriously, he's right up there in the thick of the title fight...

Those are my arguments. Your preference for Kimi? That's just personal opinion, totally separate from the facts...🙏

Oh, and hey, if you're gonna place bets or make claims, go all the way with it instead of just cherry-picking the parts that make you look right.

stormybadger8 said:So, looking at how things are shaking out... seriously, just think about it. By the time the season wraps up—yeah, you heard me right, right at the finish line—Felipe Massa is actually gonna pull it off and land in P4.😉 So you've got Kimi, Robert Kubica, and Lewis Hamilton all lined up ahead of him—god knows what order they're actually running in—but as for Felipe Massa being the top dog in the standings or even just the main man at Ferrari? Yeah, forget about it. Not happening.☕

Man, all these predictions about Felipe Massa and whatever else we've been hearing... we're already halfway through the season and honestly? Not a single one of you guys has hit the mark. Not even close.
Look, here's the deal: if you actually look at the numbers right now, Felipe Massa is easily one of the top drivers this season. Honestly? I’d go as far as saying he’s the best driver out there. Period.

I'm not gonna sit here and play the "what if" game, you know? That's a rabbit hole I don't want to go down. But man, if that freak accident hadn't happened just two laps before the finish... he would've been sitting pretty at the top of the standings right now. Just imagine.

And honestly, all that talk about Robert Kubica and Kimi Räikkönen? Just forget it. That’s some playground level stuff right there... total kid stuff.

Look, at the end of the day, you gotta go by the stats and the hard facts. It’s about what actually happens on the field, not just sitting around dreaming about how you wish the season was gonna play out. Facts don't care about your feelings, man.😉

fadedfox18 said:If you ask me, that move where he overtook Lewis Hamilton right after giving the spot back to Kimi Räikkönen was easily the boldest, most aggressive play we've seen since the Schumacher days.

btw. who even was that total idiot who caused Kimi to spin twice? just a complete clown.

I gotta agree with that, and I'm not even being a fanboy here. Like, man, Kimi was playing his own game—lots of pushing in the corners and blocking moves—and there was really no way for him to just slide by on the side and let it happen....

I mean, it would be pretty stupid to strip the guy of his win now, but looking at it objectively... yeah, it wasn't exactly clean...👎

Man, I don't know, I'm feeling for Kimi today because the guy was seriously driving his heart out out there 🙏

man, what a driver... honestly, this is just pure, unadulterated luck, man

stormybadger8 said:Don't even get me started on that... you really think Felipe Massa looked better than Kimi Räikkönen out there today?🙄 Honestly, I don't think Kimi messed up on his own. It looked like he had a tire blowout during that contact with Lewis Hamilton, because when he hit the wall, you could clearly see that rear right was totally flat.🤷

Massa was a total disaster today, but whatever, man. You gotta look at the whole season, right? Or maybe we just focus on today's race and call it a day... who knows.😕....

I'm totally with you on the tire thing. There's no way it popped just from the impact itself...

Samuel Baker3 said:if this actually happens, Lewis Hamilton might as well start planning his victory party right now.

🤣🤣

man, you are such a joke...
can you even try to look at the situation realistically for once?😂🤣

the guy who’s been driving the best race of the season deserves to be the top dog at Ferrari. Or do you honestly think it's better to have him playing second fiddle to Kimi Räikkönen, just hoping he can pull off some miracle while sitting 20 points behind? 🤣😁

the sooner they put Kimi in that secondary role, the better the odds for Ferrari and Felipe Massa in general, without them constantly tripping over each other for points...
kind of like how McLaren used to play it last year.👎
