It keeps hitting me with that blue screen showing those four little squares, saying "preparing automatic repair," while that tiny little loading circle just spins away endlessly. After about thirty minutes of staring at it, the screen switches over to say "Diagnostic Your PC," but then it just hangs there for another half hour like it's taking a nap. Once that finishes, I'm stuck looking at a pitch-black screen where the only sign of life is my mouse cursor moving around when I wiggle it. I’ve tried restarting the thing several times now, but it’s like a broken record—it just does the exact same thing every single time. I even tried being proactive and popped a Windows installation DVD into the disc drive, hoping it would kickstart things, but even after a reboot, it just ignores the disc and goes right back to that same loop. Before that, I poked around in the BIOS, specifically looking at the boot manager options, and I noticed there are only two items listed in there: -boot from EFI file -notebook hard drive It doesn't matter which one I pick; nothing will let me actually boot from that Windows DVD. It makes me wonder, why on earth isn't the CD/DVD drive even appearing as an option in the boot list? Does anyone out there have a clue what might be going on under the hood or how I can get this fixed?
So, I just gave video DownloadHelper a shot myself, but after it finishes downloading what looks like an MP4, I check the file size and it’s sitting at a measly 1 MB, which basically means no media player out there—not even VLC or Windows Media Player—can actually get it to play properly.

Every time I fire it up, I’m staring at this massive mountain of links, and I actually managed to spot two that had "it's never too late" right there in the title. I tried grabbing one of those, but instead of getting an actual video file, I ended up with this tiny little HTML file that doesn't do anything. I’ve gotta tell you, I am completely stumped on how you guys make this look so easy.

I think I'm getting a bit lost here, honestly—I tried doing the whole right-click thing and selecting "view page source," but then this massive window pops up with like a million lines of code and I have absolutely no clue where to hunt down that URL. Then I tried right-clicking again and hitting "inspect element," and well, it’s the same story, just another giant wall of data staring back at me. I was doing all of this over in Firefox.

That’s not quite what I meant, so maybe I didn't explain myself very clearly in my last post. So, here's the deal: I have this specific folder sitting on my D: drive filled with files that are super important to me, and I've copied that whole folder over to an SD card. What I'm really looking for is a way to make sure that whenever I tweak or change something inside that original folder on my D: drive, those updates automatically sync up with the version on the SD card too. Basically, I just want it to grab whatever changes I make and push them through.

I've tried running it through a bunch of different downloaders—you know, those various sites you find when you're searching online—but for some reason, none of them seem to grab the subtitle track along with the actual video file.
