Pretty solid comedy. It’s packed with great bits, like the scenes with those hooligans, that Italian guy on the train, and that ridiculous gag with the Pope at the end.

It’s definitely a solid movie, but I wouldn't call it spectacular. The action is top-tier, and there are a few great one-liners from Schwarzenegger, especially during that opening scene where he's lugging that massive log. My main gripe is that he feels a bit over the top in certain scenes—I can't quite put my finger on why, but it just felt off. There were a few things that rubbed me the wrong way throughout the runtime. Still, Rambo is better.

Look, if everyone is raving about it, it's probably decent. I won't join the bandwagon or trash it until I actually sit down and watch it. But personally? I can't stand when movies are "sanitized" for the American market by adding pointless love stories.

I haven't seen it yet, but from what I can tell, it looks like absolute garbage. Honestly, this whole thing feels like some low-budget teenage trash. To make matters worse, the entire plot is just a blatant rip-off of Rear Window.

Personally, I preferred the old one. It was just more intuitive for me. But whatever, I'll get used to the new look eventually.

I’m definitely hoping it turns out to be one of the better ones. Personally, I think Bay is a solid director and honestly, I can't imagine anyone else better suited to helm Transformers... it's just pure destruction, start to finish. There isn't a single movie he's made where millions upon millions of dollars don't go flying through the air—whether it's cars, houses, or anything else in sight. So, from what I can see, the Transformers are going to absolutely wreck everything in their path.
For me, though, the real winner for movie of the year will be the new Die Hard, Live Free or Die Hard.

The truth is, Bruce was actually lined up for the role, but the producers doubted his range. They wanted a bigger name to carry Darkman instead.😈

I’ve only seen the first two. Honestly, the first one blows the second out of the water. The sequel isn't a total disaster, but nothing beats the original—especially since it was directed by Sam Raimi. Plus, I much prefer Liam Neeson over Arnold Vosloo. Haven't even touched the third one yet.

In my book, Shrek was an absolute blast and hilarious
two was a bit of a step down, but it still held its own and kept me entertained enough to meet my standards
From what I hear, Shrek The Third doesn't quite hit the heights of the first or second one, though people say it’s still a fun watch👍.

Personally, I prefer watching things un-dubbed. Even if American voice actors do a decent job with localization, I’d much rather hear the original performances—like Eddie Murphy voicing Donkey, Mike Myers as Shrek, and Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots.

Look, it doesn't look half bad, and a 6.2 is a decent score. But I doubt this thing is even hitting theaters here in the States anytime soon. I’ve been keeping an eye on AMC and Regal for the last five or six months, and I haven't seen a single mention of this title. Maybe it shows up in theaters later, or maybe it just skips straight to digital/Blu-ray. Either way, I really want to catch this because it's directed by the same guy who made the first installment of that legendary Saw series. For me, the original Saw was easily one of the best horror thrillers out in recent memory. I'm expecting a solid movie from this one.

I’ve been following the news on this remake for a while now. It doesn't look half bad, but still Nathan Myers28 made a solid point: movies always look great in stills and trailers, only to turn out to be total garbage once you actually sit down to watch them.
As for whether Rob Zombie is a bad director, honestly, I don't know. I haven't sat through any of his stuff yet. His movie House of 1000 Corpses looks like cheap trash to me, and the reviews are pretty rough. On the other hand, The Devil's Rejects seems way better, and I've heard some decent things about it, but I'm still on the fence about whether it's worth my time.
