I’m not really a huge critic, but I might give this a look just for the solid action sequences.

Honestly, I didn't care for the movie. It was mediocre and just plain boring.

Look, I think the movie is good, but everyone’s entitled to their own take. If they think it sucks, then fine—it sucks to them, and they have every right to say so. Fine, it's true. I love movies like Rambo and give hard. But honestly? Those older classics are miles better than most of what comes out today. Take Fast & Furious—that stuff is pure nonsense. The plot feels like it was scribbled by a seven-year-old, the characters are all hyperactive and try way too hard, and there's barely enough action to even call it an action movie. It's basically a kids' movie. I mean, sure, it's watchable if you have nothing else to do.

Well, everyone has their own taste.
But if you ask me, Commando is even stupider than Rambo. Yeah, Rambo turns up the action way too high in the sequels, but in my book, Commando is even more over-the-top than Rambo 3. To me, the original Rambo is actually a solid film for 🙏 🙏. The second and third ones aren't terrible either. Honestly, Sylvester Stallone's older action flicks, like Rambo and Cliffhanger, are leagues better than most of the mindless junk we see today like Romeo Must Die and The Fast and the Furious.

How the hell do you title a movie "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" and then give the Silver Surfer such a pathetic amount of screen time?!?!?! Seriously... get this... SILVER SURFER DOESN'T EVEN HAVE ANY FIGHTS IN THE FILM! He never throws down with the Fantastic Four; he gets one shot at Doom and spends the rest of the time dodging missiles. It's ridiculous. A movie titled "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" features the Silver Surfer with about 15 minutes of screen time with zero fights. All he does in the movie is go around digging potholes for Galactus! LAME LAME LAME LAME!
Well, if you're actually interested, there's talk about making a standalone Silver Surfer movie.

Rocky is in a league of its own. I could watch Rocky on loop forever and never get bored. Massive respect to Stallone for creating a character like that. I agree with everything you said. Though, I can't say for sure if Rocky is my absolute favorite series. But the first Rocky? That's easily one of the best films ever made, and the sequels aren't bad either. Rocky II and Rocky VI are excellent. Rocky III and IV are solid and fun. Even Rocky V, which everyone loves to hate on, is actually pretty good.

As for that joke about him being a comedian, I think nimblemarlin17 has plenty of material to work with if you look at
Demolition Man and Oscar. Personally, though, I never expect him to be some stand-up comic.

Personally, I can't get enough of his work. My top picks are definitely all the Rocky movies, the Rambo trilogy, plus Demolition Man and Cliffhanger. He's easily one of my favorite actors out there.

It’s not a bad flick. Honestly, it just depends on your sense of humor. It’s more of that lowbrow, irreverent stuff, similar to Beavis and Butt-Head (the guy who created those characters actually directed this) or South Park. My only real gripe? The movie felt way too short.

Look, the movie is alright. I haven’t read the comics, so I can't tell you if they actually nailed the adaptation or not. It’s a fun ride, but let’s be real—the script is absolute garbage. Can someone please explain the logic behind that final ride with Nicolas Cage and Sam Elliott? They try to build up this heavy atmosphere right before the big showdown, then Elliott just stops dead in his tracks and says, "Well, that was my last transformation, good luck!" and rides off??? Seriously? And the villains are completely pathetic; their whole "tough guy" act is just moronic. They’re so weak that Ghost Rider dispatches them all in two seconds flat, and even at the end, when the guy transforms into some upgraded version, he gets taken out without even breaking a sweat. The only thing keeping this movie watchable is a handful of decent jokes that'll give you a laugh. It’s barely entertaining enough to justify the runtime.
