Renegades (2017) in Movies ·
I remember this from last year when they were filming out in Sacramento.
Obviously, we're talking about AC/DC here. I saw Metallica once and, honestly, they just weren't my thing. We'll see if I end up sticking with them.
I just wish AC/DC would play their full set, because that's the whole reason people show up.
Predator 2 in Movies ·
Hands down, the best entry in the franchise after the original.
Thoughts on the 2015 Steve Jobs movie? in Movies ·
Honestly, I’d hand them both an Oscar right now just for those performances.
Superhero Movies in Movies ·
Aside from Deadpool, my top picks have to be Batman (1989), Superman II (1980), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and the Avengers—though I’m not saying they have to be watched in that specific order.

I’d cast my vote for Deadpool in a heartbeat, but I tend to steer clear of those digital Batmans from Nolan's movies at all costs.
This is Spinal Tap in Movies ·
I’ve spent quite a bit of time watching this already. It’s actually a great comedy, though I think a lot of musicians probably mistook it for a legit documentary because they've lived through those exact same ridiculous situations—like getting completely lost on the way to the stage.
R. I. P. Lemmy Kilmister in Music ·
R. I. P. Lemmy Kilmister. I saw them live once, but I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan; it's more like a band I respect rather than something I'd put on repeat. Lemmy Kilmister kicked off this depressing streak of icons passing away—Bowie, Alan Rickman, Grizzly Adams, the drummer from Mott the Hoople, now Glenn Frey... It feels like we're just waiting to see who's next.
Best Action Saga? (NEW POLL) in Movies ·
For me, the best Bond movies are the ones with Connery; he’ll always be the definitive Bond. His films have this specific soul and spirit that the newer versions just can't replicate, no matter how many fancy special effects or high-tech gadgets they throw at them. The Moore era was pretty solid too. Honestly, I used to think Pierce Brosnan was a subpar Bond until I saw Craig—now *that* is a bad Bond. I watched the first one with him and that's enough for me; I have absolutely zero interest in the rest.
Sleepy Hollow (1999) in Movies ·
I absolutely loved this movie! There’s just something about that specific Burton-esque fairy tale vibe he brings to so many of his films, even when things get dark. For me, Edward Scissorhands is the ultimate example of that style. When you get Depp and Burton working together in their element, you know you're in for a great film and a hell of a good time.

Rambo 4 is just brutal. Honestly, combined with the first installment, it’s got more drama than anything else, and man, there is absolutely no shortage of action either—supposedly there are more deaths in this one than in the first three movies put together. And that moment at the end when he finally makes it back home after all those years? It was executed perfectly. Seeing his name on the house right before the credits roll... Stallone really nailed that. It feels like Rambo has come full circle. This movie totally blew my expectations out of the water, which is saying something because they were insanely high. I grew up on the Rambo trilogy, watching every single part over and over again until my parents felt awkward lending me the Rambo films. Usually, things don't hold up as well once you grow up, but that's not the case with Rambo for me. Because of that, I'll always maintain that Rambo 4 is the best action flick, not just from the last 15 years, but from the last 25.

People always seem to overlook Live Free or Die Hard, but honestly? It’s great. It feels like the definitive Die Hard movie for the 21st century—you’ve got all those high-tech gadgets and cyber-terrorists, which provides such a cool contrast to McClane. He’s this old-school, analog hero stuck navigating a digital world, usually landing in the wrong place at the exact wrong time. It works perfectly. As far as fourth installments in any franchise go, I’d say Rambo IV is pretty much the only one that actually holds up better than Live Free or Die Hard.
Best Action Saga? (NEW POLL) in Movies ·
Rambo and Die Hard. Honestly, as far as I’m concerned, Rambo 4 is easily the best action saga we've seen in the last 15 years or so. I can't even remember the last time a fourth installment in a franchise actually managed to be that good.
USB drive issues in IT Support ·
Don't mention it.
USB drive issues in IT Support ·
Your USB drive is formatted as FAT32, which is why you can't move any single file larger than 4GB onto it. Just reformat it to NTFS and you'll be fine.

Not a chance. I went down to Target and they just swapped it out for a different one.

It recognizes the drive, but I'm getting a "the device cannot start" error, and now I can't even format it. I checked under Device Manager instead of Disk Management.

I can't do anything about it when the drive icon doesn't even show up in the first place—that's the whole damn problem.

So, I picked up this 16GB Silicon Power USB drive, and everything was working perfectly fine at first. But then, I tried formatting it to NTFS—you know, just so I could actually store movies larger than 4GB without hitting that file size limit—and now my laptop won't even recognize it. I hear the usual connection sound when I plug it in, but then absolutely nothing happens. It’s the same story with my TV and my home theater system; they don't see the drive at all. Is there any way to fix this, or should I just toss it in the trash? I've formatted USB sticks to NTFS plenty of times before without any issues.
