And maybe give me a recommendation from whatever Pere is spinning these days...
Pere Ubu? You? Forget about it... There's zero chance you're gonna dig it (plus, you were totally hating on some other band by the same guy who was blasting in my car on Saturday while I was driving you home).
As far as the radio goes, just head over to http://www.last.fm/ , download their player, and get it installed. Later, whenever you turn it on, just type in whatever band you're feeling at the moment, and instead of playing them, they'll just throw on the Smiths. 🙄

So, the very first entry on page one of my index—which I put there pretty much on purpose, obviously—was titled "On the Love Poetry of American Latinists."

Wait, you mean I've never fried an Einstein for you? Unbelievable... Anyway, I'll be around tonight, so I'll bring it by tomorrow and maybe whip up a few other things to match the mood. (Not doing any audio CDs though, I need four of those)...

Ordered the Koyaanisqatsi Philip Glass album on Amazon (you know, the soundtrack from the movie)
Suddenly I’m becoming a highbrow intellectual...😉
Seriously though, why didn't you ask if I wanted to just blast it through my speakers until my ears bleed? Honestly, I think it's one of the weaker Glassov pieces anyway. Einstein rules. 🙏

1. Beer pong (way more intense and hilarious than I thought it’d be)
Top list of aftermaths from my first beer pong tournament:
1. Group dinner with everyone who played 2. Which basically means our first beers after a week of sobriety 3. I'm actually feeling pretty good right now
I always somehow associated beer pong with those weird union competitions at summer resorts on the coast, maybe even with some bushy-mustached guests visiting from East Germany. I'm honestly stunned to find out this moronic sport is actually practiced in China too.
You should probably teach them the rules of something more legitimate, like dodgeball, or maybe even kickball... Honestly, even people in small towns like Boise or rural Alabama could probably find some success with that...
1. Ain't Necessarily So 2. Smalltown Boy 3. Junk 4. Puit D'Amour (this one actually cracks the top 3 if you accidentally spin the record at 33 1/3 rpm) 5. Hit That Perfect Beat (honestly, I’ll never stop wondering why Johnny Cash didn't cover this... I can just hear it in my head) 6. Why? 7. Heatwave 8. I Feel Love (ep version) 9. no more War 10. 10. need a man blues
Honestly, you only really eat Toblerone when there’s nothing else left or if you're just being polite... but anyway, here’s my definitive ranking of chocolate fillings from best to absolute garbage:
1. Plain. Just pure cocoa for baking. Not quite sugar-free, but not sickly sweet either. You know the kind—the stuff so hard you can't even cut it with a knife, so your only real option is to smash it against the counter with everything you've got just to get a single bite... 2. Marzipan 3. Anything paired with coffee 4. Anything mixed with some kind of nougat—though it's way better folded into the batter than used as a center 5. Tiramisu and other similar sins 6. Boozy fillings (depends on the brand, could be decent or incredible) 7. Ice cream centers 8. Liquid fruit fillings, though honestly, they're hit or miss 9. Standard milk chocolate with zero extras 10. With styro... sorry, I meant rice
I’m basically just like that one guy who spent years quietly sipping his Bud Light in the exact same corner booth at some tiny neighborhood dive bar in Washington, D.C. One night, this group of troublemakers rolls in, starts some trash talk, and suddenly a full-blown brawl breaks out. This calm, quiet guy suddenly leaps behind the bar, grabs a few bottles, and starts smashing them against the floor one by one. The owner rushes in, clutching his head in pure panic: "Mirkec, what the hell are you doing?" and he just looks back and goes: "Oh, you know... just setting the mood!"

Total old-school. It’s been around forever, even back when I was hitting the halls of high school... 😁 They updated the wrapper recently and threw in some different flavors. Honestly, it's decent, even if I don't go crazy for it.

David Sullivan4 Hey man, you absolute animal, pick me up over by the Rockies around 9:20 PM, alright?
Could you maybe find a different way to abbreviate that, please? Like "sdle" or something... I can't deal with getting a heart attack every single time I read this...😢
Carol Jackson45 said:Give raisins another shot. Look, I used to hate them too, but honestly? After spending five days hiking through the Rocky Mountains, I started loving them. Just don't go tossing them into cookies or chocolate... just eat them plain. 😉
I doubt anything is gonna change things here. You can't teach an old dog new tricks, right? And besides, to quote someone way smarter than me: I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem. 😁
Sean Lee7 said:Raisins by themselves? Absolute garbage. Seriously, one of the worst things ever invented. Unless you pair them with marzipan... then we might actually have something to talk about. Sorry not sorry. 🙂
Look, raisins and marzipan are basically at opposite ends of the food quality spectrum. There’s nothing—and I mean nothing—more revolting than a plain raisin, and there’s nothing better than marzipan. It’s just facts...
Is The Switcher Band even still around? 😳 I’ve been telling this one story for years about how they fell apart after one of the members got hit by a train. (I know, not exactly a riotously funny tale, but it makes for a killer story...) So, is that whole thing just an urban legend, or did they actually reunite?
