Car Insurance: What are your experiences?

Hey, does anyone know if you lose your no-claims discount on car insurance if, say, the vehicle is taken off the road for 2 or 3 years and then you try to register it again?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Quick question about credit cards
in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Thanks!
My Mastercard from Chase converts all my international spending into dollars, which then pulls directly from my USD account. I was wondering if there’s a card out there where dollar expenses pull dollars, Swiss francs pull francs, and so on... instead of everything being forced into dollars first and losing money on those conversion fees.
Does anyone know which bank in the US handles transactions via dollars the way Chase does with euros?

Quick question about credit cards

Hey, does anyone know if there’s a credit card in the US where the bank doesn't just convert every single foreign transaction into dollars? Like, if I'm spending in USD, can it actually pull directly from my dollar account? Or is that only possible with a debit card, like a Visa from Chase? Thanks!

Do a little digging if you haven't yet. Most people suggest 25mg per kilo of body weight. So, if your mom is sitting at around 130 lbs, she could probably take three 500mg doses a day

Yeah..
might actually go out and grab a real gas mask.

Perfect morning to ride through NYC
But does anyone know where I can grab one of those exhaust gas masks? It’s a necessity if you're stuck biking along something like Memphis Avenue. Or does anyone have a better idea?

Does anyone actually know if using a Bank of America card—either a Visa or Mastercard—is currently the cheapest way to pull cash while traveling abroad?
The general info I got was that for anything outside the European Union, they hit you with 0.4% of the total plus $6.75 plus some other tiny fee for "card processing" or whatever...
Then the folks at card services told me it’s the same rate for the rest of the world: 0.4% plus $4.00.
If that's true, it should still beat out most of the other big banks out there.

Hey,
Let me know if Biobran is that dietary supplement containing 250mg of Rice Bran Arabinoxylan Compound (RBAC)—the stuff scientifically proven to boost the immune system, specifically NK Station activity.
If it is, I actually found out here in the US that they discontinued that specific Biobran, but there's a replacement called PeakImmune4 250mg capsules. You can grab a bottle of 50 for $39.75 or a 6-pack for $238.50. All the details are on this site: http://www.nutritiongeeks.com/p-7680...Fc9L5wodp1_tIA
Hope that helps. If not, hit me up—I might be able to dig up more info if you tell me what you're using it for and what the going rate is in Vienna so I have a baseline.
Yeah, that's the stuff. Here are the prices:
Thanks for the heads up. Cheers.

Zinc supplementation: Is it actually worth it?

I saw some claim recently that overdoing it on zinc could actually trigger prostate cancer

You just gotta put in some legwork, ask around, and you'll track it down eventually.

You might actually be allergic to dust, just like me. It makes everything way worse when you've already got a cold. I'd highly recommend using a saline rinse or even just some sea salt spray to clear things out.

Here’s how I keep my immune system dialed in (I honestly can't remember the last time I had a cold): 1. Cut sugar back drastically. Some people say it’s actually more toxic than nicotine. For me, that means drinking coffee and tea totally plain—no sugar, no artificial sweeteners—and ditching sodas entirely. 2. Hit the gym consistently, whether it's lifting heavy or getting some cardio in. 3. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies, ideally organic stuff from a local farmer's market to avoid pesticides. 4. Look up Rino Horn online; it's a method for rinsing your sinuses with warm salt water once or twice a day. 5. Get your Vitamin D naturally through controlled sun exposure, then during the winter, load up on foods like peanuts that have it, or just fly down to a warmer state if you can afford it 🙂 Cheers!
Flu symptoms

A colleague passed this along to me—he’s been dealing with constant viruses and colds since November 11th, just hacking away on Sumamed... hasn't even taken a single day off work.
Nothing for me!
Who doesn't know this? Sugar absolutely trashes your immunity. Ever since I cut it back drastically (like, drinking coffee with milk but zero sugar), my immune system has been way better.
Give it a shot. Cutting out sugar isn't easy, but I think it's worth the struggle.
