Tyler Ross86? For heaven's sake, why? 🙄

So, you've been removed too. It seems anyone who doesn't toe the line with the clique in the chat gets booted out. First it was Dolly, and now you... Why don't they just start their own private chat outside the forum and leave the actual hobbyists to enjoy themselves? But I suppose then Layla wouldn't be able to act so important 😁

What is even the point of this PDF if there isn’t going to be any actual discussion? Honestly, they might as well just turn the whole thing into a collection of photos featuring anatomy... that way, interested hunters like an incredibly frustrated little bear won't waste their precious time.🤷

Tyler Ross86 said:And now it's... The user desiree... I locked the thread with Lily, adding a comment that was honestly pretty hilarious. But really, it perfectly captures how things stand right now, because it’s as if she wrote it herself... We actually feel a bit sorry for the average forum user... we moderators are just friends here, laughing right in your faces at your futile attempts...

I don't see the point in all this posturing; just say what needs to be said and let the facts speak for themselves... I mean, honestly...You could always buy the entire platform if you wanted... though even then, you wouldn't have any actual control over the settings.

Not a user, but an admin. The audacity... 🙏:

They don't have a single actual argument regarding Lyla other than the fact that she's their friend. How incredibly well-reasoned... 🙏:

Way to go, Desiree.🙄

Interesting topic, but I doubt it'll gain much traction for one simple reason: they usually just delete their posts once they realize they've gone too far.
Rebecca Gomez37 said:The way her nose looks now after the contouring—it’s like a slide that suddenly drops off into this tiny little ping-pong ball at the tip. It really isn't aesthetic... it doesn't look artificial or even "piggy," it just looks plain weird and unattractive.
Her surgeon mentioned that her nose practically fell apart during the procedure because she must have had some massive weight loss from dieting that he couldn't have anticipated, but honestly, who hasn't dealt with some unexpected setbacks in life???
I feel for my friend because she’s so heartbroken over all this, and none of us can pretend otherwise.
I suppose unpredictable things can happen to anyone, and doctors are ultimately just humans prone to making mistakes...
I just hope nothing like this happens to me; I have my surgery scheduled in five days and I'm praying everything turns out perfect.🙂

Look, there isn't one single doctor out there that everyone is perfectly happy with. Don't let someone else's experience get in your head. Everything will be fine...🙂
Elizabeth Collins5 said:Hi everyone!
Here’s another one who has been stalling on surgery for quite a while. I’m hoping to finally pull the trigger in the next 2 or 3 months.
I have a few questions for those of you who had your procedure done by Dr. Glušac, so if anyone is willing to help me out, please 🙂.
How did you choose Dr. Glušac—was it a recommendation or just a random choice?
Was the surgery performed under general anesthesia?
How long was the wait for a consultation, and once that was done, how soon were you able to schedule the actual surgery?
Also, since I'm not from the US, I'm wondering where the pre-op testing happens—do you do it through him, or should I bring all my results from home?
Thanks!

1. It was via recommendation. I know several athletes who had their broken noses fixed by him. That's essentially how I found him, especially since he doesn't bother advertising on TV or in the papers.
2. Yes, general anesthesia. The anesthesiologist is excellent; he usually works at the hospital in Miami. The surgical nurse assisting him is just as good.
3. There wasn't much of a wait, as far as I can remember. You book an appointment, come in for the consultation, and you could be in surgery within a week. At least, that's how it worked back then.
4. Get your tests done at home. EKG and blood work. You can do the EKG with him, but it isn't a problem to get it handled beforehand.
slymarlin382 said:Oh, I didn't realize cleaning was such a painful ordeal... :S Thanks for the heads-up, I'll definitely be grabbing some Advil. They're taking the mold off tomorrow, but that still leaves four more days before I can actually breathe through my nose... ugh, I'll definitely be celebrating once that's over. 😁

"Cleaning" basically means they shove a tube up each nostril while you blow into it. It’s incredibly irritating and painful, but honestly, the relief afterward is worth it... though of course, it'll just clog up again eventually. You'll get a few hours of perfect breathing, though. Hang in there. It's much better to have your nose cleared every couple of days than to show up to a follow-up appointment months later only to find everything is blocked—which, from what I can see, is how some doctors around here tend to operate. That's just awful.🙄
slymarlin382 said:I used the drops this morning, but nothing happened 😁—I didn't blow my nose, and nothing drained either... but honestly, it’s only been a day and a half since my surgery, so I guess it’s not surprising there isn't any flow yet :P

vividfox, let me ask you, how many days did it take before you could actually breathe through your nose again?
That’s what’s getting to me most; I can't sleep properly when I have to breathe through my mouth... I just hope I get used to it. How was it for you?

I also saw Glušac. He’s a very specific type of doctor, but an excellent specialist.

It’s perfectly fine to use the nasal drops; there's no need to blow your nose just yet. Using paraffin oil for the scabs is a great move. In about seven or eight days, you'll start using saline rinses, and that’s when you’ll finally be able to breathe normally. For now, your doctor will clear your nose every time you visit. It hurts like hell, but once they clean it, you'll breathe great—until it gets congested again. It’s all part of the process. You haven't even hit the two-day mark, and recovery is a year-long journey...

It feels a bit awkward, but hang in there. 👍
God, Laura Booth6, this is just awful... honestly, I think I would have lost my mind with that doctor. I’ve never heard anything like that in my life... though I suppose he doesn't need much more of a "recommendation" than what you just described.

But anyway, it's over now. Things will start looking up soon. Just don't go expecting any miracles the moment they take the mold off; it takes a long, long time for the swelling to actually subside, even if it doesn't look too dramatic. Just keep in mind that it'll take at least six months for the nose to even begin finding its shape, and at least nine months before you can breathe normally again.
gentlemaker46 said:He just took a quick look at my nose, snapped a couple of photos, and that was it—it only took a few minutes and I didn't pay a dime...🙄

Excuse me? Nose cleaning? My nose feels cleaner than a pipe I had to blow through almost every single week...
Breast shape discussion in Women's Health ·
hiddenscout362 said:Look, breasts are mostly fatty tissue; they don't have muscles, so you can't firm them up through exercise. If you want to prevent sagging, just wear a decent bra and leave it at that.

:

That is simply incorrect. Breasts aren't composed solely of fat, otherwise, only overweight people would have large breasts... which we know isn't the case...😛
The pectoral muscle sits right beneath the breast tissue... if you develop that muscle, the breasts will firm up, lift, and look significantly better...😳
Don't rush things... mine didn't fully develop until I was 22. Now at 75D, I can tell you there isn't a single silicone implant out there that looks as good as my natural ones... Just be patient, you might still be growing, and there will always be time for surgery later on.
Dude, where's my car? (2009) in Movies ·
Grace Diaz76 said:It’s incredibly naive. First, he nearly breaks up with a girlfriend who feels neglected, and then she invites him to her wedding—acting like the perfect partner to the very friend who almost ruined her relationship. And where is the logic in having that guy sent to rehab because he clearly needs it, especially since he has access to three different Chase accounts but still has no direction in life? As if two men are going to stand there and tell each other they love each other in front of fifty people. Yeah, right.

This whole thing is a joke... are you actually aware of that?🙄
I genuinely believe you weren't paying much attention to the movie... he didn't ruin her or her relationship, nor does he lack a life... quite the opposite, actually. It showed him a glimpse of life from a different perspective and taught him how to take risks, which isn't asking too much since he's his friend.

He doesn't have a life?? From what I saw, he has a girlfriend, a dog, and a job... what exactly is missing from that life? I suppose he should be earning a living by sleeping around?? 🤔

Anyway, the movie is fine, nothing special... no comedy has truly impressed me since Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but at least this one is watchable.
vividfox said:Here’s my update too:
It’s been two months since my surgery, and while the nose looks fine visually, the tip is still incredibly swollen to the touch... proof that progress is slow, but happening nonetheless 🙂 Just a little info, maybe it helps someone! 😉

Just assume your nose will stay swollen for about six months... it won't be super obvious to everyone else, but you'll feel it. You won't truly know what your "normal" swelling level was until much later.🤷
Donna White6 said:How does one actually get an appointment with him at the hospital? Is a referral required through insurance, or can I just call them directly? If anyone has any insight, please let me know.

If you're going through your insurance, you'll need a referral... if you want to go private, just give them a call and schedule a consultation.🤷
What a pathetic advertisement... if he were truly the best in the world, she wouldn't be looking elsewhere. This whole glowing review feels like a joke meant to trigger a laugh... honestly, there are incredible specialists outside of Washington, D.C. who don't feel the need to parade themselves on TV like Kinčl or Glumičić.😉
Elizabeth Bennett15 said:Does anyone know how long the recovery period is after an operation like that before I can get back to diving? I have a trip to the coast coming up soon, and I'm wondering if it's even allowed... I have this nagging feeling it might be a bad idea, since the salt water could potentially irritate the internal wound...

My doctor actually told me to get in the water and dive as much as possible, claiming nothing clears out the sinuses quite like the ocean...🤷
jadecrane3 said:It’s been about six months since my surgery... and I still have this little lump on the left side of my scalp. My doctor told me he won't touch it until a full year has passed since the procedure. He mentioned the only way to deal with it would be to just drain it with a needle...

Is that lump soft or hard? Mine feels incredibly hard, almost like bone.🤷
