Birth control and libido in Women's Health ·
Perhaps the body simply believes itself to be in a state of bliss, triggering some primal instinct... and we all know that mothers aren't driven by lustful impulses🤣

Awaken your primal instincts🤣

I was reading recently that birth control pills can actually lead to a decrease in libido.
Perhaps this topic should be moved over to women's health?🙂
Nobody wants to be alone in Psychology ·
Yes, I went through a stretch lasting several months—and I’m honestly not even certain if that chapter has truly closed—where I found myself completely and utterly abandoned...
I suffered a tragedy so profound that, to my absolute shock and devastation, my own family turned their backs on me, leaving me to face everything entirely alone.
There is simply no pain, no sense of helplessness or despair quite like being solitary and realizing there isn't a single soul in this entire country who would offer you a kind glance, pull you into a hug during your darkest hour, or whisper, "It’s going to be okay, I’m right here with you." I know this because, while I was literally suffocating under the weight of my own tears, I found myself thinking that perhaps being whipped five hundred times a day would actually be more bearable than enduring one more minute of that isolation... despite the fact that I could be walking down a busy street in New York City surrounded by thousands of people, or sitting in an apartment with five family members, yet feeling more isolated than if I had been exiled to Antarctica.
I have endured an incredibly difficult, surreal, and grueling period over the years, yet in the end, I find myself grateful; it opened my eyes and deepened my empathy for others, and it taught me that, ultimately, you can only ever truly rely on yourself, for there is no greater friend than your own soul.

Kevin Cox said:Yeah, we voiced our complaints over there, but it was pretty much a waste of time—which is why I’m actually here now. I mostly want to hear what you all think about this. To me, the core issue lies in that very first sentence of the original post: centralization. It seems to be baked into everything this society does.

Do you really think those reasons justify creating a whole new subforum?

By the way, Andrew Sanchez3, Miami has about 221,000 people.

Miami - 188,694
Seattle - 143,817
Indianapolis - 114,616
Washington, D.C., the capital - 779,145

🙄

Should it cover all four cities, or just Washington, D.C.?🤷
Reddit politics section in Feedback & Suggestions ·
If we were to strip away all the off-topic chatter from the Miami thread, we’d find there are maybe only 1,000 to 2,000 actual posts left... which means it should either be moved to the general off-topic section or simply deleted altogether.
By contrast, Washington, D.C., being the capital, enjoys its own dedicated subforum filled with high-quality threads that actually help people navigate the city, rather than just being a dumping ground for mindless fluff.
I find myself wondering, though... why does D.C. get its own subforum?
Perhaps it's because it serves as the nation's capital...🤔
On a different note, if I may venture into "politics"...🤣
If Miami is granted its own subforum, then it stands to reason that Seattle and Indianapolis should receive them as well; otherwise, I fail to see the logic behind the Miami one, unless it exists solely because the residents there tend to be more aggressive in their posting style, leaving the other cities with virtually no voice at all.🤷
Estée Lauder and the "reformulation" PDF in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I decided one day to finally revisit my favorite topic on a subreddit like Face or maybe Body Care, only to find out that everything has been completely overhauled😲
It seems to me that the admins and moderators are once again playing God, because apparently, they still need to mess with everyone's heads a little longer🤷
I truly cannot fathom the necessity of this massive overhaul for such an essential community, especially when there is more than enough work to be done regarding moderation duties and handling user appeals—which, if they are too complicated, could simply be closed so they can actually deal with them properly.
To the dear admins and owners: without the users, you wouldn't even exist, and perhaps the moderators should take a moment to remember their roots and who they were before they ascended to the Olympic support initiative😉
I am certainly supporting the initiative🤷
POLL: Best Picture of the 1970s? in Movies ·
If I had to choose from this selection, it would undoubtedly be The Godfather, though I find it a profound cosmic injustice that Taxi Driver wasn't included in the conversation...🙂
I’ve been dealing with that same dull, sharp stabbing sensation in my lower abdomen as well (if that's even the right way to describe it😬), spreading through my belly and even reaching down into my lower back.
It’s probably just coming from my ovaries, but then again... who knows? It could be cancer, or maybe some kind of tumor... one can never truly be certain, I suppose...🤷

It serves as a textbook illustration of a specific brand of schizophrenia, though perhaps in a different sense...🤔

Harvey Milk (2008) in Movies ·
I am well aware of your orientation, so I won't be bothering myself with any further debates on this subject with you; from what I have gathered, you hold rather orthodox views on being gay—no offense intended, but I have noticed your somewhat aggressive stance regarding this topic across a few different threads... However, as I just stated, if you didn't catch that, I actually find it refreshing that the film depicts gay characters, including that entire community and their activism, as shades of gray, perhaps even leaning toward black at times, since there are moments where Harvey Milk acts like a total hypocrite, if you'll pardon my language, and I actually found that quite compelling... They aren't portrayed as mere caricatures like in the thousand other films that came before it, but rather with a certain level of objectivity and realism.😉

I wouldn't necessarily call his performance breathtaking...
However, he did an excellent job portraying both sides of the gay community.
Life isn't just black and white, and the same goes for the community—it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, there are darker complexities too...
Brilliant Sean Penn!
Frankly, I couldn't care less what his specific reasoning is for this biased moderation—which, I must admit, has started to become quite bothersome—but since it appears I am not the only one to speak up regarding this thread where he and another forum member are clearly attempting to pivot the entire conversation toward me... which is blatant off-topic trolling, in my estimation... I want to be clear: I am neither northerncrane4 nor am I here to engage in a petty, endless feud with him until tomorrow morning, yet I do reserve the right to stand by fellow users regarding issues I have personally observed for quite some time, much longer than this specific topic has even existed, especially since deleting posts to cover one's tracks seems to be his standard operating procedure...😉

At this stage, either he undergoes a genuine change in conduct, or he simply needs to step down from his moderator position...🤷
In which specific category does this fall? Could you perhaps outline the relevant topics?
If I am certain of my position and possess the evidence required to substantiate it, should I really be discouraged from defending my perspective and viewpoint?...
And what about the opposing side of the argument?
I implore you...☕

As I previously mentioned, you have been placed on ignore.
Rachel Sullivan2 said:Thank God someone actually had the sense to write this... 😳

Raymond Sanchez7... honestly, how do you even function like this? 🤷

I’ve run into you across several different threads over the last few days, and this exact same pattern keeps repeating itself... quite predictably...
And look... sorry... but you really are being incredibly exhausting... 😢
Now, I know I tend to get into heated arguments with MrBeast myself, but even I can admit he handles his business fairly decently...
Even in this space...
Larry Cruz51 unfortunately chose a rather absurd example here, though one could certainly find plenty of instances where MrBeast is being "difficult" if they looked hard enough without... 😍 further... 😁
But personally, I don't have an issue with him... 🤷

Anyway, what I meant to say was... just relax and try engaging in some actual conversation like a normal person would... 😉

I simply cannot believe it!
I used to think you were a charming presence on this forum, but apparently, my three posts regarding February Sobbing—which, by the way, is trending like crazy on Cookie right now—have managed to strike a nerve... 🤷
Furthermore, just to inform you in a polite and orderly fashion: for those annoying, tedious, or unreadable users, there is always that lovely little feature called "ignore," and since you haven't been promoted to moderator yet, you aren't under any obligation to read my posts... 😉

Besides, I would argue this is all getting a bit off-topic... 🤷
ambermason16 said:At the risk of sounding completely dense... I just don't follow this whole S.B.S. thing... how does it even work? 😕

I'm not taking sides here, I genuinely just don't get it... 🙂

I'm in the same boat, I don't understand it either...🤷
Since he refused to offer any actual clarification to any of the other women on this forum... it seems more than obvious that this is nothing more than blatant trolling...🤷
It appears they have a handful of go-to phrases they tend to deploy quite regularly☕
So, we find ourselves returning once again to the subject of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Personally, I found the film quite underwhelming, and I can't help but notice its striking similarities to Forrest Gump. However, as you might have guessed,
northerncrane4 clearly had a much better time with it, making him a frequent participant in this particular debate, much like myself.

To provide some context, a certain user and I have been dissecting these parallels, leading me to offer this response:

to which I received this reply from northerncrane4:

Since I have been receiving warnings for "trolling" despite the fact that I am absolutely NOT trolling, I took the liberty of asking him if perhaps his behavior was actually the trolling, only to be met with:

In any case, let us overlook the fact that he is also incredibly active on this thread and has voiced his opinion approximately a million times already, as you can see...
given his well-documented sense of nobility, those condescending undertones, elements of personal insults, and, as I previously mentioned, the trolling itself...
You're just spinning your wheels here...
Furthermore, if the link is properly isolated, you would also gain access to the exact date the ban was issued for that specific clone account, which, much to your chagrin, will demonstrate that there is absolutely no connection—no matter how you try to spin it—between that previous persona and this current handle.

As for yourself, don't you worry; there is an abundance of evidence to go around, which is further proven by the very way you are choosing to address me...😉
I am not😉
and my original handle was banned under the assumption it was a clone of this one, though that matter was settled ages ago with ZgSash and has absolutely nothing to do with you!
Since we are bringing up ZgSash, he actually owes me an answer; I made a polite request quite some time ago, and we agreed he would look into it and see what could be done regarding that specific issue.🙂

On the other hand, considering you are constantly handing out 45-point infractions, I wonder if you might consider awarding yourself a 45-point infraction right now for all this off-topic rambling and trolling?
Furthermore, you are attempting to sabotage the discussion about yourself by shifting the spotlight onto me.

Regarding point three, the post you’ve cited here was written several months ago; honestly, dear people, can you even fathom the level of obsession required to scour someone else's post history just to find something to derail the actual conversation...😉
Does this not lead you to wonder if northerncrane4 is simply trying to obscure and redirect the debate to prevent it from reaching the conclusion that he is, in fact, a poor moderator—a fact he seems well aware of himself?
