The biggest joke here is how the admins used all this volunteer energy to troll, play both sides, and just muddy the waters right when we had a golden opportunity to actually fix a massive issue after years of this forum being dragged through the mud.

There’s barely anything left of that whole well-argued breakdown except for a few scraps in this pathetic thread, which is basically just trying to gloss over everything by pretending a specific case is some vague, general thing.

On the flip side, I guess someone who was actually supposed to pay attention read the whole thing before it got nuked—and hey, maybe the serious players are handling it behind closed doors where I can't see them.

I get that it might not be "appropriate" to talk about a certain guy like that in public, even if everything said was 100% facts; if that’s why things were deleted, fine, but then I don't get why I had to be shoved into the corner with the lowlifes and treated like a criminal. Look, you could have just sent me a DM saying, "Message received, we're deleting this, but just know we saw it, don't bring it up again, we've got it under control."

That goes for the stories about the guy I'm talking about too—and trust me, none of this is pleasant to deal with—because his nonsense isn't just detached from reality in a general sense, which includes the internet (TV, news, and everything else beyond their immediate bubble), but it's also tied to the reality of the streets, where he claims he physically attacks people.

Obviously, I can't drop a clinical diagnosis here; that's what professionals are for. But just like we’d tell someone who constantly posts on a forum about painful sores and infections that they need to see an STD specialist immediately—especially if they're bragging about being reckless—it’s just as obvious that this situation involves someone who is clearly unwell, even if we aren't doctors and this isn't a clinic.

Simply put, even a reasonably informed layperson can see there's a serious health issue at play here.

Given how things are going, the most likely scenario is that "someone important" rolls in, drops a few toxic comments to stir the pot, and then shuts the whole thread down. Then you try to complain to the admin... Oops! Too bad he is the admin.

The internet is massive, but honestly, it sucks because this Reddit used to be such a solid place. There were always issues, sure, but I don't think it's ever hit rock bottom quite like this—not even close. Now, with Smoogj and all that...
