I wouldn't wish it on anyone. When it hits me that hard, I head straight to the ER until they give me something for my stomach that actually works.
Good grief😢are you going to live like this forever🤷, she was prescribed Nexium, but as for those sharp pains in her armpit and left arm... she feels that too, along with the abdominal pain.😢
Kate Collins67 said:In this instance, they were testing for pregnancy markers, not tumor markers. Honestly, why not just ask the poor resident while you're right there? They aren't sleeping for 24 hours straight anyway... instead, you show up with half-baked information expecting a more accurate answer on a forum from people who might be quasi-doctors...
And if she had actually asked, she would have told you how chaotic the ER was that day...😢
Thanks for the response.🙂
Kate Collins67 said:I'd estimate she's around 25. She addresses him as "Dad," and they've already run tests for beta HCG, reproductive age, and even an infarct... honestly, what are the odds...
Likely gastritis...
EGD... 🙂 Medical science... I just stick to taking Nexium for now. If that doesn't cut it, then maybe I'll consider an EGD. But honestly, I’m not letting anyone perform an endoscopy on me unless it's absolutely necessary...🙂
What exactly do you all suspect is just gastritis...?🤷
Her husband says she looked like death warmed over, pale and twisting in agony... Is that really how gastritis presents itself?😲😢
She mentioned they were running quite a few tests on her regarding heart issues... specifically that heart murmur...🤷
vividsailor7 said:The EKG looks fine; creatine kinase and the MB isoenzyme are within normal limits.
Pregnancy test was negative, everything else seems standard.
Did they perform a PHD during the endoscopy?
How old is she?
An EGD should probably be repeated...
The endoscopy showed the cyst is benign; they took a biopsy.
She’s 28.
So, just redo the endoscopy?
Thanks nalaziti.🙂
My cousin ended up in the ER with abdominal pain, weakness, and nausea. They ran some blood work... I'll list the elevated levels below...
Leukocyte levels... The leukocyte count came back at 11.3. The normal range is listed between 3.4 and 9.7...
Mean platelet volume. Just another number on a lab report... nothing more, nothing less. The 11.1 interval falls within the 6.8 to 10.4 range...
Troponin. Just one more thing to watch. The 0.025 interval... versus 0.013.
Urine analysis results show elevated leukocytes... nothing particularly surprising, just more data to process. The 5-8 interval sits somewhere between 0 and 2...
MCV and MCH levels have dropped...
Tumor markers have been run...
hCG levels: result
The reference range is as follows...
3rd trimester...5.8-71.2
4th week of pregnancy...9.5-750
5th week of pregnancy...217-7140
6th week of pregnancy...160-31800
7 weeks pregnant.3700-163560
Chest and abdominal X-rays came back clear. Abdominal ultrasound was normal too. EKG shows a sinus rhythm at 72 bpm with vertical electrical axis... PQ interval at 0.25. Final oscillations look steady. Blood pressure is stable...
Let me walk you through her current situation. She’s dealing with a clean bulbus and chronic gastritis—both diagnoses she's been managing for about three years now. She’s also had a heart murmur since birth, and was born premature...
She dealt with similar episodes a few years back. Back then, she had a Becker's cyst on her left leg. During these flare-ups, a vein also tends to swell on the inside of her left arm...
We’ve been reading some articles regarding similar situations, and they suggest that troponin levels can point toward cardiac or coronary issues. I need some clarification on these results, specifically concerning the tumor markers, since nobody has actually said anything to her about them... I'm also looking for recommendations on which tests should be performed next. Thanks in advance.

It’s honestly pathetic to hear statements like that. It makes it seem like we have zero value just because we happen to be women🙄. I don't get it. Pure stupidity...😢🙄🤷

Though I wouldn't exactly call it a lump... it's just some "captured" tissue sitting right under the skin. It's at the bridge of my nose, between my eyes, just beneath the surface... like a little ball... you can't see it, you can only feel it when you touch it... I can even slide it left and right...
I saw a dermatologist recently and they couldn't give me a straight answer... said it might be scar tissue or a gland... regardless, they told me to go back to the surgeon who operated on me to have it removed.
I’d get it taken out because some days it's incredibly annoying...
But honestly, I don't feel like traveling all the way to Miami just for this. Last time I went for my 6-month follow-up... and asked him about this thing... he just brushed it off and kept talking about something else.
Either way, this wasn't here before the surgery and I want it gone! So I’ll probably just use my insurance to see a local doctor and head to the hospital to find out what it is. I don't have the money to fly to Miami just to have Glušac tell me it's nothing again.😁
The lump will subside. Don't worry.👍

I remember when there was an announcement posted all over the site and in every single PDF thread to raise money for a little girl’s medical treatment. Her photos were up there too; I think one of the users might have even been her 🤷
I was keeping an eye on the classifieds section when the notice was pinned, and I was honestly stunned by how people were reacting in the comments. This mother, who had several kids, kept posting that raising money was pointless—that if it's part of God's plan to take the child, then why bother trying to save her? And she wrote it with such cold indifference.. It was disgusting, acting like nobody should interfere. She even went as far as saying if it were her own child, she wouldn't lift a finger because everything is just in God's hands.
Later that week, some stricter rules were implemented, and a few women publicly complained that the thread violated the guidelines and shouldn't have been in the classifieds in the first place. After a couple of days, the thread was shut down. Sadly, the little girl passed away shortly after.
I truly don't understand what drives someone to write something like that. If you don't have anything constructive to say or if you lack basic empathy, just skip the thread. Things like that aren't just sad; they're repulsive.
God, how shameful😠 😢, I truly cannot wrap my head around people like that.😢

James Cox6 said:Look, you can see what's happening here—these are cheap shots. It's what people do when they run out of actual arguments; they just get emotional and start crying once they hear the truth...
The rest of the group basically tore her apart in that thread—they didn't hold back at all...
Then she tries to backtrack, claiming she didn't mean it the way it came across, and all that other nonsense...
Look, I’m not trying to dig up old ghosts or revive dead drama... it’s just that this whole conversation hit a nerve regarding a situation I dealt with a long time ago... so, here we are...😢
James, please don't let yourself go through that again. It's a disgrace to her, and honestly, it weighs on her soul too.😢I don't know if it helps, but whenever I feel someone looking at me with malice or hear something cruel, I just pray to God and trust in His protection. It's tragic, and frankly unbelievable, that she actually wrote that to you. Disgusting.😢

James Cox6 said:Actually, a mother of four wrote that to me right here on this forum—about three months after I suffered a stillbirth during one of these online discussions..
She told me I clearly deserved to lose my baby in the third trimester and that God knows who He chooses to bless with children.
It was a long time ago—three years back—but whenever those words cross my mind, I get chills. Even today, it honestly gives me chills..😢
Tragic.😢I find it hard to believe people like that even exist.

Jason Lee2 said:My godmother really got on my nerves last night... It’s not my fault her marriage is hitting the rocks. And it's certainly not my fault her husband was all over me. She spent the whole evening in a foul mood because of it, then had the audacity to tell me I’m going to gain 20 pounds by the end of this pregnancy. Honestly, screw her and her 20 pounds. Even while pregnant, I weigh less than she does, and I look better after a month of barely leaving the couch than she does after hitting the gym every single day! :2up:
I'm pissed—but I just want to see how she handles it when she's stuck on bed rest for three months with nothing to do but go from the bed to the bathroom. Then we'll see if she gains 2 pounds or 10. :2up:
Don't let it get to you, dear. This bed rest will be over soon enough, and then you can walk around with your little one as much as you want. As for her comment, just let it go in one ear and out the other. Trust me, people like that hate it most when you simply don't care what they think.👍😉

Zachary Gray35 said:I remember once seeing a woman on here say that some acquaintance of hers deserved whatever tragedy hit her just because of how she acted.
It honestly sickened me to see one woman wish that kind of thing on another, regardless of what she’d done.
I wondered what kind of mindset you have to possess to even think that, let alone type it out. But look, this is a public forum; we can't see facial expressions or real-time reactions, we only see the words on the screen. That’s why it’s smart to think twice before hitting post—we don't all process things the same way. What might seem like a harmless jab to you feels like nothing but a nasty comment from one woman to another to me, especially since you only know people on MiM through their writing. 🤷
A smarter woman would have just said: God forbid she ever has to go through what I went through, and may she have an easy life with zero problems.
That’s exactly what I wished for that user mentioned earlier, and I hope that's what actually happened. 😉
I’m not the type to talk behind people's backs, so I’ll just be direct about how I saw and felt this situation.
MiM wrote something—likely without thinking it through—that wasn't exactly classy. My guess? She was just angry and phrased it clumsily, which made the whole context look bad.
Furthermore, Anthony Watson35, I don't think there's any point in fanning the flames, and that's exactly what you're doing right now, which I'm not a fan of. 😉
I know from at least five different instances that those who curse others eventually face the consequences themselves. If anyone wants to live that way, be my guest. ☕

I’d kiss Glumicic right now if I could!
It’s still swollen. The nostrils are thick and uneven, and the bridge feels wide, but it's only been 6 days. I told myself if things don't settle down in 6 months, then I'll worry...😍
My sister claims it just looks "deformed" because of the tape and the splint, and that it will improve.
But it's actually good. The profile, the front view—everything is great. Even my friend said she expected that "plastic" look, but instead, it looks totally natural. It fits my face perfectly.
(I know she's my friend, but she swears she's being objective)
Going to pass out first, then grab a drink.
A close friend of mine was also seeing him just the other day.🙏🙏Now her cheekbones, eyes, and facial features really stand out.👍Coffee:
