Honestly, we're all just a bunch of molecules vibrating to the beat of Beethoven🙂.

I'm definitely more than just a bunch of molecules, and I certainly don't look to Beethoven for my rhythm.

You are a woman, and you're certainly attractive and intelligent, but you lack the social grace and emotional intelligence I actually look for.

I wouldn't vouch for anyone either. A few times at work, people have actually asked me to lend them $67, and I just gave them that look—you know the one, like, "Are you actually serious right now?" At home, I find myself reading Thompson, thinking about how to "Prići and help..." and how the hand that gives is the one that forgives.

My God is... complicated, to say the least. Like a chameleon, He seems to tactically decide when it's beneficial to be good or bad. What really cracks me up about this whole thing is how much my God resembles everyone else's gods; they're all just opportunists, switching between being benevolent or cruel whenever it suits them best.

American intellectuals would probably find this whole concept of an online forum hilarious. It’s such a classic byproduct of capitalism—just a bunch of disconnected people using strange digital methods to try and kill their loneliness.
What keeps you motivated to get out of bed in the morning? in Psychology & Therapy ·
I hold onto this conviction that better days are coming. Sure, tomorrow might just be another predictable, boring slog, but I’m certain that by June or maybe even looking ahead to 2019, things will improve. Even when I call tomorrow a "boring slog," that day still holds certain advantages that make me superior to the version of myself from, say, 2015. If I actually sit down and analyze my growth over the years, there's definite progress, and this "predictable boredom" isn't quite as black and white as it seems. In other words, it’s actually pretty bright compared to how things used to be. But sometimes, that brightness gets repetitive, and you start to feel it as a bit of a rut. What keeps me going is this belief that I am capable of better days—even if that feeling is somewhat illusory. Maybe there’s a hint of narcissism in there that pumps me up with energy, a mindset of "I am capable," "I have the right predispositions," or "I get the point and I have patience." It's like thinking, "I see how the game works, but I was just having a lazy day; things will look better tomorrow." I often have these half-collapsed weekends—you know the type, where you have no plans and don't give a damn about anything. But then Monday morning rolls around, I brush my teeth, shower, eat some fruit, and suddenly that strength returns, and the temporary ache fades away. I go through phases that feel like a slow system failure, but I never lose my faith—or at least, I haven't yet. I might lose a game 1-2 or 1-3, but life never blows me out 0-4. Life has never played a football match against me where it felt like an easy win; when it tries to beat me, it's facing a difficult, demanding opponent. Sometimes I lose, but life isn't exactly lucky to have to play against me. I want to say that there is always a game being played on my end; there is no total systemic collapse. I take hits, but nobody ever walks away with a shutout against me. That intention to keep playing, to give hell to fate or bad luck, is what gives me the motivation for a new day. To score that goal, even if I end up losing the match in the end.

Personally, I have my own healthy ways of blowing off steam. Besides, let’s be clear: I’m far from uneducated; if anything, my profession demands a certain level of articulateness that most people simply can't muster.
One really ought to maintain some semblance of boundaries in all things, and I suppose that extends even to this particular subject. I make a conscious effort to stick to milder language and refrain from invoking the Almighty in my speech, especially when I realize I am conversing with someone who actually holds those convictions.

I don't come anywhere close to the amount of profanity I let fly when I'm home, and that's without even trying to police myself. Personally, I don't see anything offensive about this particular "habit," nor does it bother me when others indulge in it; in fact, I have a genuine appreciation for crude humor. From what I've observed, most people inevitably circle back to sexual innuendo—it's as if sex is woven into the very fabric of every conversation. For some reason, it remains an endlessly fascinating subject for everyone. 😁

It’s because so many people struggle with self-confidence. The easiest way to try—and fail—to act like a big shot is to constantly bring up sex. To me, those who insist on it are just overcompensating for their own insecurities; they aren't actually intimidating. I find a woman who seems reserved at first glance much more dangerous—someone who can completely take you apart when you're alone together.
I was just thinking about those moments when I end up swearing under my breath, even if I don't do it in front of anyone. You know that feeling when you have ten minutes left on the clock at work, but then everything starts slowing down? Suddenly, it looks like you might be stuck there for an extra five minutes, which is all it takes to miss my bus. Most of the time, though, it’s just that brief moment of panic and nothing actually happens.

It doesn't say anywhere that I can't just put it back together.
I can't stand those hyper-masculine "edgelords" who think being crude is a substitute for having a personality. And don't even get me started on that brand of modern art where some guy spends half an hour cracking the same tired jokes about anatomy... Ha ha ha, look how edgy you are, mocking the Church with the same old tropes and dropping profanity every thirty seconds. So clever. Truly creative. But tell me, what’s your actual solution for making life better? Oh right, just more profanity.

I'm a serious person with a sense of humor. I'm not some clown who needs to rely on vulgarity just to prove how "open-minded" or sophisticated I am.

I love hiking. Whether it's through deep forests or along rocky coastal cliffs.
Look, when I don't have time to cook, I just grab some bacon and a few potatoes in a bag from Spar or Walmart.
Jeffrey Baker18 said:So, you're not a fan of apples? 😳 To me, it sounds like a voice so universally appealing that everyone would just naturally gravitate toward it. 😁

Flavor-wise, fruit is pretty boring. It’s got this tedious taste and the juice feels too heavy, even if it is technically the most efficient way to get your vitamins in. A local Washington plum might be even more intense, but the flavor is just as difficult to handle. I actually have to mentally prepare myself before eating them; if I just snack on them casually, it honestly feels overwhelming.

Garlic is easily my favorite thing to eat, but that lingering scent? It’s a total nightmare. I would love to have it every single day, but there's just no way to kill that smell once it sets in. You can try brushing your teeth or using high-end body wash, but nothing actually works; garlic is just stronger than any hygiene routine. If someone like me—someone who is obsessive about cleanliness and spends way too much time perfecting every little detail around the house—can't find a solution, then what hope is there? Honestly, you just have to wait two days and hope it eventually fades away.
