Google Lots of good ideas popping up on this thread.
Some of the topics... Outlook 2003 either/or Outlook 2007 Can you take a look at this?

For Outlook 2013 right here.
- Wanna set up a rule in Outlook 2013? It's pretty simple. Just head over to the Home tab, look for the Rules section, and hit "Rules" then "Create Rule." You can pick from some quick presets or go into "Advanced Options" if you want to get specific with it. Done.
- How do I filter out this spam crap in Outlook?
- Setting up Outlook Spam filters.

In this latest visual guide, you just gotta pick the first option—basically, you're selecting the sender, whether that's a specific person or a whole distribution list.

If I were some hot girl from a small town in the Midwest, I’d probably say:
"Oh please, what kind of arguments are these? Only people from the Republican Party would think like that. Honestly, they probably couldn't even figure out how to open Excel, they think Outlook is just some fancy word for a makeover, and they probably think Word is a literal globe!"

Kyle Johnson2, you're a legend 🙂

Hey everyone, quick question about Word. I’ve got this document I need to blast out to a massive list of people. Basically, I just want to swap out the first and last names on each one since the rest of the text stays exactly the same. I’ve already got a spreadsheet ready to go—is there some way to make Word automatically pull those names into each individual doc? Hope you guys catch my drift.🙂

thanks

Just use Mail Merge in Word.

How do I sum up specific cells spread across different sheets when they aren't lined up in the same rows? I’ve been messing around with VLOOKUP and various other methods, but I’m officially out of ideas 🙂. Any help would be appreciated. I can't sort the data because it would mess everything up.

Basically, what should replace the "xxx" in this formula: "=SUM(zg🙏t!XXX)" so that it totals the beer fields located on the fourth sheet?

EDIT: That bit above was just me typing a colon; I accidentally hit the right key combination and the forum turned it into a smiley face 🤣.

Is there any way to split an A4 sheet so I can print four equal flyers on a single page?
Is there some specific software for this, or can I just pull it off in Word?

First off, you really need to rethink how your sheets are structured. Right now, it’s a bit of a mess. Why is one city listing beers first while another starts with sodas? You should have a consistent order—each beer gets its own row, and each soda gets its own row, across the board.
Since you're dealing with multiple cities, you can pretty much assume they'll all carry the same product lineup. Once that's set, fixing things becomes a breeze through consolidation.

Another way to handle this? Put all the data from every city into one single master sheet. Then, you can just use filters to pick the specific city you want, or better yet, use SUMIFS to crunch the numbers based on multiple criteria—like a specific city paired with a certain beer, or a city plus a whole category of drinks.

Honestly, about two-thirds of the work is just getting that structure right during the prep phase. If you do that, the rest is a total walk in the park. But starting with a disorganized pile of data? That's a nightmare.

A Pivot Table would also be a huge help for you here.

You could try using stuff like this: VLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT, or SUMIFS if you're running Excel 2007 or newer. Pro tip: give your data ranges some names on those base sheets first.

For your specific setup, this formula should do the trick:
Code:
VLOOKUP(criteria;data_range;column_index;FALSE)

=VLOOKUP($A2;zg_baza;3;FALSE)+VLOOKUP($A2;os_baza;3;FALSE)+VLOOKUP($A2;st_baza;3;FALSE)

In this case, 'XY_baza' would be your named range from A1:C100.

Just set your print settings to "4 pages per sheet"

So, here’s the deal—I’m looking for a solid database template for handling invoicing. Right now, I’m just grinding through everything in Excel because the math part is easy enough, but I’m wondering how to actually set up a proper database in Access and link it over to Excel...

The thing is, I’m doing all my billing in Excel, which is fine for the calculations, but the manual entry is killing me. I want to be able to just punch in an ID number and have it automatically pull the description and everything else...

Thanks a ton

I've got Office 2013 installed, and right after I set everything up, all the icons were there and every single program was running just fine.

But then, about two days ago, I noticed that almost all the icons have vanished—except for Excel and PowerPoint. Don't get me wrong, the programs actually work, but they’re missing their little visual identities, if you know what I mean. Anyone have a clue what might be causing this?

code 1
Code:
Private Sub GlobalnePostavke1_Click()
'
' GlobalnePostavke1
'
If GlobalnePostavke1 = True Then
Call GlobalnePostavke1On
Else
Call GlobalnePostavke1Off
End If
End Sub

I have a checkbox running code 1 (which calls code 2 from another sheet, specifically Columns("BM : DP").Select)—that part works fine; the columns hide as expected.
Now, I'm trying to expand that selection to
Code:
Columns("BM:HA").Select

but it keeps throwing an error..

Any idea why? Does it matter that those columns are actually the ones I'm trying to hide?

Look, you can grab an sample invoice in Excel and then check that same tutorial—it should have a link somewhere to download an invoice setup for Access.

restlessheron19 said:Why would that be? Does it matter if they're sitting in the columns I'm trying to hide?

Nope, the confirmation frames are technically "in front of the columns." If they're placed in, say, column BM, then once you hide the range from "BM:HA," they shift over to column "HB." But as soon as you unhide everything, they jump right back to their original spot at "BM."

Anyway, code : Columns works perfectly fine for me—no errors popping up at all. It’s just weird... one confirmation frame hides my columns, while the other one actually unhides them from "BM:HA."

I'm using Office 2010, though I doubt that makes much of a difference.

Benjamin Wilson7 said:No, the validation frames are actually "in front of the columns."

Right, I see that the validation frames are sitting ahead of the columns—that wasn't what I meant.

Inside the specific columns (cells) I'm trying to hide, I have a table (http://www.microsoft.com - Pulling range data from a row into a dependent drop-down list), plus several other tables where I perform copy-pasting operations (swapping out certain bits of data)—moving info from one table to another using the same logic (calling code) as this validation hiding method. Could any of that be interfering with my ability to hide these columns this way? Actually, whenever I try to hide those exact same columns manually, an error pops up: "Cannot move objects off sheet." So, something in that list above is definitely causing a conflict. An "object"—what exactly counts as an object in Excel!?

Yeah, turns out I left some comments in one of those tables I wanted to hide, which was preventing everything from being tucked away up to column HA. Thanks, all sorted now! Works fine with 🙂

So, I’m looking to set up a little dropdown menu in one of my fields that holds a bunch of different items. Ideally, once I pick an item from the list, I want the computer to just... I don't know, do its thing and automatically fill in the unit of measurement and the price for me? Is that actually doable, or am I just dreaming? If anyone could point me in the right direction or help me pull this off, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Set up a Drop-down menu first, then just lean on the VLOOKUP function in Excel. Pro tip: give your data range a name—makes working with functions way smoother.
