Iβm definitely going, mostly because of The Black Keys. Honestly, Iβd travel way further than just hitting up Central Park just to see them. Itβs not Coachella, but hey, I wouldn't miss Queens of the Stone Age for anything either. June in the States is just gorgeous! π

I grabbed my ticket way back when the rumors about Pearl Jam coming were still just talk. π

I actually grabbed my ticket way back around Valentine's Day... the lineup is decent enough, I guess, but for my taste, it's missing those specific bands that really make you want to go all out and just lose yourself in the crowd...
I'm mostly just looking forward to seeing The Fratellis π

Even though the organizers have a pretty thin skin when it comes to any kind of criticism, they clearly decided to actually do something about the bad vibes from the last few yearsβespecially after last year's mess. You have to hand it to them, though; this yearβs lineup is a solid A+.

Iβm still sticking to my guns: I honestly don't get what people were whining about last year. I had a blast. Yeah, sure, the payment systems were a total disaster on day one, but they sorted it out after everyone complained and things ran smooth after that. As for the lineup? Pure genius. Honestly, most of those complaints felt pretty emptyβjust people hating for the sake of hating.
Anyway, this year's lineup is killer. I'm mostly hyped to see Flogging Molly and The Fratellis π It's gonna be epic. I already snagged my ticket back in December π

Iβve already said this a dozen times regarding last yearβs lineup, but here I am againβexplaining why everyone was so pissed off. It was pretty obvious: the quality took a massive dive compared to previous years. And the absolute worst part? They took a smaller lineup and stretched it out over more days. Fewer stages, fewer headliners, fewer bands overall, yet somehow more days. Honestly, last year's entire roster could have easily fit into a single day. As for those tax and permit issues, that was the least of anyone's concernsβthough you'd think a festival with this much experience wouldn't be caught so off guard that they couldn't fix the issue on day one like other major US festivals do. But there's no point beating a dead horse; it looks like they actually put some effort into the programming this year, and apparently, people weren't just complaining for the sake of it...

The Fratellis π, man, I just saw they're hitting our areaβhonestly, they're the only act on this lineup worth mentioning
. Not that I've grabbed a ticket yet, though. Prices have gotten totally ridiculous lately, and let's be real, there's always some random last-minute price drop right when you finally decide to bite π’

Does anyone know of any cheap hostels near Central Park? A buddy and I are hunting for a place to crash while the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is going on.

Honestly, you should just check Airbnb; there are tons of apartments you can rent for a night or twoβIβm pretty sure thatβs actually your best bet. There isn't really much of a hostel selection right around Central Park anyway, lol.

Just when I actually thought Iβd finally make it out to Coachella this year, the universe decided to screw me over again. I buy my ticket, feeling good, and then a few days laterβboomβI find out I have to be at work hundreds of miles away from the festival grounds during those exact dates... arrrghhh! If anyone is looking to snag a ticket, shoot me a PM.

I actually have two available... so if anyone's interested, please send me a PM... sorry to jump in like this, π’

Looking for some budget-friendly accommodation for me and my girlfriend near Central Park for 2 nights (we almost certainly won't be heading out on the first day). If anyone has any leads, shoot me a DM.

Itβll all work itself out eventually.π

Are we seeing any major shifts compared to last year when it comes to all this non-musical stuff?

Does anyone know if thereβs going to be a screen up on day one where we can catch a glimpse of the America-Mexico game?
