There’s just no way any other festival in America could top this one...
Take a band like The Killers, for instance—their entire booking fee could probably fund the whole Coachella budget, and even then, people would still complain the tickets were overpriced, though they wouldn't be wrong.

And even if they really wanted to pull in 30,000 or 40,000 people a day, I honestly have no clue where you'd fit a crowd that size on an island like Staten Island—Coachella would basically have to hunt for a brand new venue, likely somewhere far outside the city limits, which would just be a massive headache...

The whole concept is actually pretty solid, because unlike last year when so many sets overlapped and I ended up missing some absolutely legendary performances, I managed to catch all the headliners this time around. Of course, a setup like this isn't without its little flaws...
But I had a blast regardless, and I spent plenty of time dancing and checking out the side attractions—if you were looking to have a good time, there was plenty to go around🙂

NOFX was great, the Stooges were killer—but honestly, everything else was a letdown. Once you stepped away from the main stage, past all that background noise from the local radio station, it just felt like a cheap carnival. Total lack of taste, really. 🙂

I’m looking at this and honestly, Americans act like he’s some kind of god, but compared to the absolute GOAT... he’s a total zero. Seriously, just looking at this lineup makes my head spin because it's so massive 😂
—it’s almost too much to even process. Plus, I’m pretty sure they still have at least ten better festivals back home than this one

Besides, I bet they still have at least ten better festivals back home...

With the price of a Glastonbury ticket, you could basically fly round-trip to New York City, grab a pass for Coachella, and still have enough left over to get absolutely wasted for three days straight... Sure, they book much bigger headliners, but if you're watching your budget, Coachella or any other decent US festival works just fine... 🙂

Personally, I went ahead and bought... Early bird gets the worm, they say... if you even care about the worm... Still looking for tickets... $83Honestly, it’s basically the same price I'd pay just to see a handful of those bands individually... It's a steal in my opinion... Hardly feels like you're getting much value for the money anymore... Just another day in the grind... 🙂

Coachella isn't even in the top 50 festivals. All it really offers is cheap tickets and a decent venue.

Does anyone happen to know when the Coachella tickets are actually going to hit the printers? I was wondering if they'll be available in physical stores soon... and why is it that you can only grab them online right now? 😢

Does anyone know what the cheapest daily ticket prices have been over the last few years?

You can grab Coachella tickets online.

Coachella 2014 lineup just dropped. It’s looking pretty solid, honestly. We've got Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, and Iggy Pop hitting the stages. Even some heavy hitters like Kings of Leon or 30 Seconds to Mars are on the roster. Not bad for a summer. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Look, honestly? Given the price tag, you're better off just grabbing this package instead. You actually get... $33 Budgeting for food and drinks at the festival.🙂

The lineup for Coachella just dropped. Looks like they’re leaning hard into indie rock this year. Arcade Fire is on there, plus Arctic Monkeys and Iggy Pop. A few others too—Kings of Leon or 30 Seconds to Mars might make an appearance. It's a solid mix, I guess. If you're looking for dance music, they've got Fatboy Slim and David Guetta keeping things moving. Not bad, if you're into that sort of thing.

Does anyone actually remember what the one-day pass was priced at last year?

Has anyone actually picked up their holiday gift package yet? I am curious about this Chase card situation—specifically regarding the logistics. Since we don't live in an area with a local branch, would we need to travel to a major hub like New York City just to withdraw a card that we could then use at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival?

Yeah.. basically you just hit up any Chase branch, show them your Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival voucher, and eventually you'll get a notification that your card is ready for pickup along with your PIN. Last year when I grabbed mine, there wasn't even a membership fee involved, but who knows how they're handling it this time around.

Noticed nobody’s started a thread on this yet, so here goes. What’s the verdict on this year’s lineup? Anyone actually pulled the trigger on tickets yet?
I'm planning to head out, but my circle is still indecisive. If anyone else is looking to go, we could link up.

It’s gonna be legendary, honestly, I’m mostly just counting down the days until I can catch the Fratellis and Vitalica. Got my ticket already, because there was zero chance I was missing out on this one.

Sure, I’m looking forward to seeing The Black Keys and Wolfmother, but honestly, almost the entire lineup hits the mark for me. I know everyone was holding out for Pearl Jam, but I’m perfectly fine with this.

I am absolutely obsessed with The Black Keys and their management—honestly, I completely lost my mind when they announced they were coming. But then you look at the rest of the lineup: Wolfmother, The Fratellis, Foals, Pixies... I am hyped for every single one of them. This lineup is incredible. Tickets are already in hand; there is zero chance I’m missing this, even if I do have finals during that week 😁

So, I was just thinking... who even is Wolfmother? I don't think I've ever actually sat down and listened to them, you know?

Wolfmother is an Australian rock band. When I first heard them, I assumed they were a legacy act because of their sound, but they’re actually just intentionally cultivating that specific vintage vibe.
