Which online sportsbooks actually offer lottery-style betting?
Is there anything out there with a selection similar to DraftKings?

I've been an OG here... since before I left Newsweek 😁

Total bummer about Newsweek, though—they had a really solid crew over there👎

I rarely use offshore sportsbooks, though I've placed a few bets on BetMGM in the past. Honestly, I'm pretty shocked by how weak their odds are. I guess there's a reason for that.

Maybe I'm in the wrong thread, my bad.

My bad, think I'm in the wrong thread.

It depends on which books you're looking at. The gap is most noticeable when domestic books put certain matchups in a parlay boost, but you can't just single those out—you need a five or six-leg slip to qualify. Hard to say if that's actually worth it compared to what we get locally. For the last week, everything I played at the US books, I tried to replicate on offshore sites, and the total payout was basically the same, if not better, abroad. It’s rare to find better odds here, and even then, it's usually just because of some specific parlay promo.
And don't forget, you have to factor in a 5% cut, maybe even 10% lately. 🙂

Here’s a breakdown of the various offshore sportsbooks out there and how they actually stack up against each other.

http://sportsbettingsites.org/sportsbook-ratings/

Most of them—just click the names in the left column—have full, deep-dive reviews if you need them. They also break things down by specific sports, like the NBA or tennis, and let you know which states they're blocked in and how reliable they are when it comes to payouts (the top half of the list is generally more trustworthy). You can even check the house margins in the ratings too.

Now, I’d love for someone else to weigh in and confirm if this list is actually legit.

Can anyone with experience using DraftKings weigh in? I’m looking for some honest feedback. At first glance, their odds look solid and the settlement process seems smooth, so I'm considering opening an account. I already have one over at Bet365 and want to diversify, and this looks like a decent option. I did dig through some older threads, though, and saw some people complaining about them limiting stakes pretty quickly. Does anyone know what kind of numbers we're talking about when they start limiting? Any other red flags I should watch out for?
Thanks.

Can you believe the sheer audacity of it? My DraftKings account was hit with limits right out of the gate! I am talking about a maximum stake of exactly $0.00, which is just preposterous, isn't it? Meanwhile, on this other account I have, they actually let me place a couple of bucks on pre-match lines, and if I'm lucky, maybe ten dollars during live betting.

And let me be perfectly clear about this, because it is quite important: I haven't been running any arbitrage schemes or anything sneaky on these accounts! No, no, I am simply placing perfectly standard bets on completely ordinary markets.

The difference between PayPal and Skrill when it comes to betting—it seems to me they both work pretty much the same way, just by linking them to your bank account

The difference isn't actually that significant, except for the fact that no sportsbook in the US allows you to deposit via PayPal here 😁

Limits aside, it’s great for live betting since you can place bets almost continuously—roughly every minute.

You don't even need an account.
You can just use a voucher to deposit directly.

That’s possible, but wasn't the question specifically whether it was PayPal or Skrill?

What's currently live on DraftKings? Where are you all putting most of your action?

Does anyone know if you can use PayPal on DraftKings? I don't see PayPal listed under the Deposit options, but then I check the help section and they mention PayPal there.

It seems players here in America can't use PayPal on DraftKings anymore! They actually phased out that specific payment method a little while back, didn't they?

Why not just go ahead and open an account over at 888sport instead? Honestly, their betting selection is virtually identical to what you'd find at DraftKings, but—and this is the kicker—they still offer the option to deposit via PayPal!

Just open an account with 888sport. Their odds and selection are basically identical to Unibet, but they actually still support Skrill.

I'm checking out 888sport right now and the layout is almost a carbon copy of Unibet. Different colors and maybe a few tiny tweaks, 🙂
but that's about it. Is it the same owner or what? Everything looks the same. 🙂
I had an old Unibet account so I figured I'd toss some cash in there too, but I don't see Skrill anywhere. I assumed it was banned for Americans since I couldn't find it. 🙂
If I want to play there, I guess it's direct Visa or nothing. No other way.🙂
