Kamui Kobayashi 🙏🙏🙏

phenomenal 😍

the rest was boring as hell 🙄

Dammit, I’m rooting for Vettel and Red Bull, but this race was boring enough to make me lose my mind 🙄

the only exciting part was when Webber nearly slammed into Vettel while under Scuderia Ferrari 🤣

everything else was pure boredom 👎

And man, I feel terrible for Robert Kubica 😢

P.S: It was actually pretty cool watching Jenson Button overtake Lewis Hamilton; they should probably practice that more often 😁

So, calling Michael "Grandpa"... honestly, what a ridiculous nickname. At 41, he’s worked way too hard just to be labeled a grandpa. I have to admit, I’ve been rooting for him since the very beginning, and I still am, which makes this sudden shift in public opinion feel a bit silly—maybe even a little superficial and hypocritical... To be honest, I think plenty of younger guys out there (even those in their thirties) don't drive nearly as intensely as he does, but I guess people feel more "empowered" using labels like that. And unless you have a forty-year-old grandpa in your family, you might want to rethink the logic behind these translations...🙂

Regarding the race itself (aside from Michael Schumacher, whose performance you all have already analyzed), I’m actually glad it ended this way—it was intense right up until the finish. Though, if I'm being honest, it only felt truly tense among the top three. It's hard to imagine Lewis Hamilton or Jenson Button making any real moves given the point gap and how they performed at these specific races last year. Perhaps Korea will throw us a curveball🤷

Position driver Nationality team points 1
1 Mark Webber Australian Red Bull Racing 220
2 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 206
3 Sebastian Vettel German Red Bull Racing 206
4 Lewis Hamilton British McLaren 192
5 Jenson Button British McLaren 189

Lewis Hamilton 🤦

He just can't seem to find his rhythm, even though he was clearly faster than Fernando Alonso 😢

As long as he keeps pushing and doesn't give up, I guess McLaren should be pretty competitive over these last three tracks 👍

Jenson Button looked a bit sluggish on those hard tires—it felt like a total tactical mess...

A race where every single leader walked away feeling pretty decent about the outcome.

Sebastian Vettel - He takes the win. You can't do much more than that when you have zero control over what happens behind you—perfect setup for a championship run.
Mark Webber - Vettel looks untouchable, and he’s just stretched his lead over second place even further. His title chances are looking massive.
Fernando Alonso - Red Bull is simply in a different league right now. Damage control is the game here, but since the gap to those dominant Red Bull cars isn't massive (even if they own this track), there's still a realistic shot at the title.
Jenson Button - He managed to stay ahead of Lewis, though he might be kicking himself for that start. He was actually ahead of Alonso for a moment, but honestly, the end result would've been the same anyway.
Lewis Hamilton - Great start, really. It wasn't his fault he lost positions; those gearbox issues absolutely killed him. Two gear malfunctions by the end meant finishing 5th, but that's how it goes. McLaren is lagging a bit behind, so we can only hope for some progress in the next few races.

Uuuuuu 😁 Just seeing this now 😁 😁

Anyway, tell me, Rain... out of the three left fighting for the title, who are you pulling for? 😍 😁

Kamui Kobayashi showed once again today why he managed to build such a massive following during those few races last year (myself included)! 🙏 🙏 🙏

On another note, it was a solid outing for Bullov and Fernando Alonso. 🙏

Absolute garbage luck regarding the mechanical failures for Robert Kubica, Nico Rosberg, and Lewis Hamilton. 👎

The rest of it was just enough to put me to sleep. 🙂

Honestly, I don't think Vettel actually won that race fairly. 😢

He should’ve gone for the attack and forced Button off the track. 😁

Based on what we've seen before, Button almost certainly would've squeezed him out, and Webber probably would've caused some kind of chaos during the overtake. 🤣

That's my main gripe with Vettel. 😳

Besides, I'd much rather see someone dive in for a pass and crash out than watch them play it safe like a retiree just following the car ahead—regardless of whether that's "smart" or not. I can't stand these tactical players in the championship. If he keeps this up, he'll definitely snag the title, but he might lose his fans in the process.

I really don't want to spend the next few seasons watching another Alonso or Button. 🤦

Novak Djokovic's nonsense: he claims Kamui Kobayashi should have left more room for Alguersari..🤦 James had all the space in the world, then he lost traction, clipped the Japanese person, and suddenly it's Kamui's fault. Novak, you're just being 🤦

Vettel: great at driving 👍 ,but even better at screaming into the microphone 🤦 🤮

Tough luck for Nico Rosberg, though Grandpa put in a really solid race today..

If we followed Novak Djokovic’s ridiculous logic, Kamui Kobayashi should have just driven onto the grass to give him enough room. Honestly, there was plenty of space as it was, and the contact shouldn't have happened in the first place..
Vettel was okay, but sure, he could have handled that much better.
Mark Webber is really digging in now; you can tell he’s feeling that championship within reach.
Nico Rosberg was his usual consistent self.
Grandpa was almost right up there on Rosberg's level today.
Fernando Alonso, couldn't have asked for a better result.
Lewis Hamilton sometimes gets more luck than anyone else, but once those bad breaks start hitting, they just don't stop. At this point, the title feels quite far out of reach.
Jenson Button drove like he was out for a Sunday cruise today.
As for Kamui Kobayashi—man, if he were in a seat at Ferrari, Red Bull Racing, or McLaren, F1 viewership would have skyrocketed. Let's just hope he doesn't become another victim of the sport.👍

Not really.🤷

Sebastian Vettel wins in Korea, Brazil, and Abu Dhabi.😳

Fernando Alonso gets two third-place finishes and one DNF.

Mark Webber takes second three times.

Lewis Hamilton spends Brazil messing with buttons, misses his pit entry in Korea, and ends up getting overtaken by Timo Glock at the end of Abu Dhabi.

Jenson Button settles for third.

Felipe Massa probably loses his seat before Brazil even starts.😳

Fernando Alonso would end up with two third-place finishes and one retirement.

Mark Webber grabs three second-place spots.

Lewis Hamilton would be messing around with his buttons in Brazil, missing his pit entry in Korea, and then desperately trying to overtake Timo Glock at the end of the race in Abu Dhabi.

Jenson Button would settle for third.

Felipe Massa would probably lose his seat before we even hit Brazil.😳

While that’s technically possible, realistically, we should only expect maybe one or two points. 🤣

Maybe some of that luck could swing over to Red Bull; McLaren really took a beating with bad luck lately.😁

Maybe it’s time we shift some of that focus over to the Red Bull Racing drivers for a bit. Honestly, McLaren has dealt with enough bad luck to last a lifetime; they've really been through the wringer lately. 😁

Luck isn't something that just lands in your lap; you have to earn it.

Once you finally wrap your head around it, you might actually start to realize that nothing in this life happens by mere accident.

It might be about time the luck finally swung in favor of the Red Bull Racing drivers, because honestly, McLaren has dealt with enough misfortune to last a lifetime. 😁

McLaren rode a wave of pure luck through the first stretch of the season, but that streak has officially run out, and now reality is finally catching up to them. 🙂
Honestly, we have to talk about that absolute disaster from Novak Djokovic—the ultimate fail of the year when he actually said "Achilles tendon" instead of "Achilles heel." 🤣🤣🤣

McLaren seemed to have quite a bit of luck on their side during the first half of the season, but it feels like that streak is finally drying up. It’s almost like when you’re playing a hand of poker and everything goes your way for a few rounds, only to realize the house is starting to collect. They rode that wave for a while, but now reality is setting in. 🙂
Honestly, I have to mention the absolute blunder of the year from Novak Djokovic—that moment when he accidentally said "Achilles' tendon" instead of referring to "Achilles' heel." It was one of those classic slips of the tongue that just sticks with you. 🤣🤣🤣

It honestly felt like both of them were running on some heavy-duty stimulants today.

It’s like they were seeing things that simply weren't there.

Honestly, you could probably find a whole field of psychiatrists with plenty of work to do here. 🙏

An unarmored Jeep carrying American soldiers hit a mine in Afghanistan yesterday. I think three people were killed. 🙄

Petrov hit with a penalty following that start-line incident (dropping 5 spots on the US racing grid): http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/87389

Massa managed to dodge a penalty this time. I haven't quite wrapped my head around the official reasoning yet, but Liuzzi mentioned it looked like he completely lost control of the car. It was either a mechanical failure or someone essentially launched him off the track. 🤷

Massa dodged a penalty. Haven't caught the full explanation yet, but Liuzzi mentioned it looked like he just lost all control of the car. Either something snapped or someone launched him. 🤷

From what I saw, Massa hit the grass with his right tires going into turn one, then probably caught a curb and lost it.
