God, I hate my luck and this damn transmission. 👎

The update is finally working. 🙏🙏 But honestly, what does any of that even matter when the finish line is already miles out of reach?😢

Even so, we aren't throwing in the towel just yet. 🙂 Just another rat in the gutter, honestly. 😬

I’m left staring at two massive question marks after watching last night's qualifying and the race today:
1. why on earth was I staying up until 4 AM just to catch qualifying?
2. and why did I drag myself out of bed at 8 AM to watch the actual race?

😬
Look, Kobayashi was entertaining enough, but if I could have just slept through the whole thing comfortably, I probably would have...

True, though once it's over... there's no such thing as regrets...👍

What are you all whining about now, claiming it would have been better if you’d just slept through the qualifying or the race itself? 😬
By the time this season wraps up and we hit that four-month dead zone, I guarantee you'll be ready to sell your very soul just to catch a single race at 3:00 AM. 🤣

This is honestly Webber's season... he’s been absolutely killing it lately, driving with such a smooth rhythm that I seriously doubt anyone can touch him while he's sitting in a car this dominant.

Once the season wraps up and we hit that four-month break, we'll be begging for a 3:00 AM race start just to feel something.🤣

The race was boring anyway, so I don't regret sleeping in one bit.☕

Besides, my body naturally wakes up around 4 or 5 AM anyway.🤣 Waking up at 3 wasn't even a real struggle.😂

stormybadger8 said:The race was pretty dull for me, though I can't say I'm too upset about having woken up for it.☕

Honestly, I usually find myself wide awake around 4:00 or 5:00 AM anyway,🤣 so getting up at 3:00 wasn't actually that much of an ordeal.😂

Luckily, I had left the TV running on my computer, so the sound of the cars waking me up at 3:05 was almost a blessing. It happened again at 8:05, too.😬

Well, at least Kamui was keeping us entertained if nothing else.

seriously, if you're sleeping, why are you using a keyboard instead of a pillow?😬🤣

After sleeping through most of the morning and early afternoon, I have to admit that I am feeling quite disappointed with how that race turned out. It’s just not cutting it anymore; McLaren absolutely has to secure a win at the next race to make up for this.

Honestly, when I finally dragged myself out of bed at 3:00 and then again at 8:00, the race turned out to be a total snooze fest. It’s one of those things where if I hadn't slept through the action, I'm certain we'd still be talking about some massive, game-changing moment today.

Chris Chase5 said:So Michael is "Deda," huh... honestly, what a hilarious nickname. At 41, he was certainly working hard enough to become a grandpa already! I have to admit, I’ve been rooting for him since the very beginning—and I still am—so seeing this sudden shift in public perception feels a bit shallow and hypocritical to me... And frankly, I think plenty of younger guys (in their thirties) don't drive nearly as well as an old man would, but I guess calling him that makes you all feel a little tougher. Also, unless there are 40-year-old grandfathers running around in your families, maybe we could apply the same logic to translating nicknames as we do with other slang...🙂

😕
I don't really get it... "Deda" is just a common nickname—even his fans here on the forum have embraced it...🤷 The guy is simply the veteran on the grid, plain and simple... It's like when I call a buddy "old man," even if he's only a year older than me...🤷 As for this idea about us trying to boost our own egos, there isn't even a connection there... Why would that boost anyone's ego? 🤷 None of us here would ever dream of comparing ourselves to his driving skills or the skill of any other driver in the best NFL..
And, just for the sake of information, the youngest grandmother in the world is 29, so at 40, you could easily be a grandfather multiple times over...☕😁

That was a fantastic race for anyone who managed to walk away with points. Honestly, there weren't many glaring mistakes out there, aside from Rosberg. I just don't think the kid is quite ready for the big stage yet. He was putting on some serious pressure on MS until he finally blinked and went wide... And while Kobayashi really shouldn't have clipped him, I guess he dodged a bullet there.

McLaren had him under serious pressure until he messed up and went off... Kobayashi probably shouldn't have hit him, but hey, luck was on his side...

Rosberg lost his rear left tire. That was a mechanical failure, not a driver error.😕🤷

It’s not going to happen.
Button is trailing behind that top four. He just can't keep pace.
Looks like Hamilton’s facing another gearbox change, which means he’s getting slapped with a five-place grid penalty. Just my luck.

It seems like the kid just isn't quite ready for the big leagues yet. He was actually putting some serious pressure on the McLaren driver, looking really sharp, until he finally made that mistake and slid right off the track... I honestly don't think Kamui should have made that move—it just wasn't the right call. But hey, sometimes luck is just on your side...

😕
What exactly wasn't he supposed to hit? Who was his target there? If you're talking about that contact with Alguersuari, I honestly think Jaime is the one at fault in that situation—not Kamui.

As for Rosberg—well, that’s already been laid out.

The bottom line for this entire race is simple—it all comes down to Kamui 🙏🙏🙏

Man, what a start to this race 🙏 🙏 🙏

Seriously, give us something interesting if it isn't even raining 😁
I stayed up until 4 AM and still managed to sleep right through my 8 AM alarm, so here we are 😢
The only reason I’m even watching this "live" is because I just downloaded the full race in HDTV via torrent 🙏
The commentators sound like they're from some random place in Europe 🙏

Where the hell did Kubica's wheel go? Did someone steal it, or did the guy just plow straight into a barrier or something?!

I actually feel bad for Kubica. He's got massive potential—if he were driving for Mercedes, he’d probably be fighting for the championship 🙏
