I was wondering if those of you using their whey protein could share some insight; which flavor do you find most palatable? I was originally leaning toward vanilla, but I've been hearing some rather discouraging feedback regarding its quality.

I picked up the 4.5kg tub, so you get all three flavors. Chocolate is easily the best... though strawberry and vanilla aren't bad either. I mix mine with glucose, so it's incredibly sweet.

Same here—I've got a massive sweet tooth. I stick to strawberry, though. Does anyone know if they have anything more exotic available? If so, drop a link please. haha

The other day at my gym, they were handing out some white chocolate samples from Scientific Nutrition. To be honest, the flavor profile seemed pretty close to vanilla, so I was leaning towards picking up the vanilla option—I've always felt it’s probably the most neutral flavor choice out there. Strawberry is definitely off the table for me. I wouldn't say I'm much of a chocolate lover either, so that doesn't really tempt me, but I am a little hesitant about committing to vanilla if the quality isn't quite there. 🤷
Does the vanilla taste somewhat natural, or is it one of those flavors where you can immediately tell it's just an artificial aroma?

It’s got a much more natural flavor—really hits that sweet spot. I don't know how else to put it—it tastes like actual vanilla.

I go with chocolate and honestly, it’s solid, especially since I just mix it with water. It's easily the best tasting protein I've ever had...
next time I'll probably grab the vanilla just to see what the hype is about....

Honestly, I think all their flavors hit the spot. But if you want my real opinion? Berry blast is hands down the winner!

How do you feel about their vanilla, though? Is it somewhat hollow and lacking depth, or is it actually quite pleasant—more akin to a rich vanilla pudding?

Personally, I think it’s solid! It doesn't hit you over the head too hard. But honestly, when it comes to flavor, it's such a toss-up—what one person thinks is amazing, someone else might totally hate. You really gotta grab a tub and test it out for yourself.
The best part is they aren't sugary messes, which I love. Compare that to Universal, for example—that stuff is super intense and way too sweet. It actually took me a minute to get used to it!

Does anyone have recommendations for protein powders? I'm looking for something good for recovery, maybe something I could use as a meal replacement too. Ideally, I need it to be low-calorie since I'm currently cutting.
thanks so much!

I’ve been scrolling through this thread for a bit, but I haven't quite found the answer I'm looking for yet (my apologies if I missed it somewhere earlier)...
Basically, I’m using that chocolate protein shake. Since I work out three times a week, I'm wondering if there's any benefit to having it on my non-training days. I read that muscle mass is built when you combine protein intake with exercise, so is it better to take it three times a day regardless of whether I hit the gym, or should I stick to just my training days? I hope that makes sense... thanks in advance for any smart advice you can offer.

Basically, I’ve been drinking those chocolate protein shakes, and since I hit the gym three times a week, I'm wondering: does it actually matter if I take them on my off days? Of course it matters. Your body needs high-quality protein on your recovery days just as much as it does on your training days.
That said, I think you might get better results if—aside from your breakfast and especially that post-workout window—you swap those heavy shakes (I'm assuming we're talking whey here) for some solid food sources that digest more slowly—think chicken breast, turkey, fish, or lean meats. Or, if you really prefer the convenience of a shake, maybe look into using a better casein option for those meal replacements.

Someone give me a hint—have you ever actually forgotten to sign your posts before?

So, I recently found myself in possession of a large tub of multipower whey protein that has actually passed its expiration date. While the flavor profile and aroma seem perfectly fine to my senses, I find myself wondering if anyone here has any experience regarding potential side effects from consuming protein that is past its prime.🤷

Honestly, the smell and the taste seem perfectly fine—nothing funky or off about them—but it got me wondering if anyone here has ever messed around with expired supplements. Has anyone dealt with any weird side effects from using protein once the date has lapsed? Just curious if there's anything I should be looking out for before I decide whether to toss it or shake it up.🤷
Look, don't sweat it too much. That’s usually just a "best by" date, not some hard expiration deadline. It doesn't mean the stuff goes bad the second that clock strikes midnight; if it was stored properly—you know, kept in a cool pantry rather than sitting on a hot dashboard—it’s likely still perfectly fine to eat.
I’m certainly not going to dive into my personal take on multi-press machines or how much I actually trust their build quality just yet. 😬

Of course, I won't get sidetracked right now by my own skeptical views regarding the actual quality of this specific brand of multi-purpose protein powder😬
Thanks, that’s exactly what I figured. Since the tub was kept in a dry pantry and the flavor profile seems perfectly fine, it confirms my suspicion that we're really just looking at a "best if used by" suggestion rather than a hard expiration.👍
I certainly hope I don't start sprouting hair from my ears or growing thick fur on my palms—though I suppose that's the kind of wild, bogeyman-style horror story people love to tell about protein supplements, even when you hear those same baseless fears echoed by folks on national news programs who treat it like a childhood scare.🤣
Feel free to weigh in, though I should clarify that I wouldn't dream of actually spending my own money on their products; I simply mentioned them because they were handed to me.😉

At least a liter of Budweiser for every day I’m bulking. Dammit, some things you just can't give up 😁
