Noah Miller6, are you still planning on burning yourself out? Or was that just yesterday's drama?😂

Quick question—is there actually a fix for this annoying PunkBuster kick issue (that "unknown windows api 131131" error) on Windows 7? I haven't touched CoD in ages—just played some CoD5 back in the day—but now I'm trying to get back into it on my Windows 7 machine (Build 7000), and PB keeps kicking me because of some API glitch.

Maybe you should just try installing Build 7057 instead...

Is this actually an official RC1, some kind of unofficial RC1, or just... not even RC1 at all?

There’s been some chatter about whether this latest build, 7057, qualifies as an RC1 candidate. Some sources claim it is—like mininova.org—while others swear it isn't. Honestly, who can you actually trust when a new version drops every other month claiming to be "better" or "more stable"? I’m running 7057 right now—it’s smooth, no bugs found so far, and everything from games to apps installs without a hitch. Regardless, I doubt we'll see the actual RC1 for another eight months. My bet is on a final release for Windows 7 coming sometime in August or October.

Disclaimer, just my two cents...
I need to set the record straight because someone is impersonating me again...
To be clear, I didn't post that screenshot or that obnoxious comment about Intel usage. That was some bottom-feeder trying to ride my coattails...

P.S.

A new version is out, Build 7068

So, I was just wondering, what kind of cool new stuff are they actually throwing into this version?

There isn't much of a difference yet; they're still fine-tuning the speed of the OS itself.

My take? Don't waste your energy trying to install every single new version that drops; just wait for the final release later this year and you'll be set...

I mean, yeah, it’s just way more fun to actually watch how Windows 7 handles everything and really get into using it, rather than being stuck messing around on that total disaster of a Vista...

I honestly think my family would actually kill me if I started messing with the computer settings every single week😁
I mean, let's face it—not everyone gets to have their own private setup😛

Exactly. Why would anyone trade a thoroughbred for a donkey?👍

Hey everyone, I’m thinking about setting up W7 on my machine soon, but I’d really love to keep my current setup intact on its own partition... does anyone know if it's doable to run both side-by-side and just have a nice little boot menu pop up whenever I start the computer?
