Fine, I guess I'll "show off" my photo too; snapped this out on the triathlon course in Cleveland...

It has been quite some time since I last posted here. Having taken a lengthy hiatus from my training routine, I am finally attempting to find my footing again.
Standing at 6'1" and weighing roughly 209 lbs. My current objective is to push toward the 220 lb mark; I intend to focus strictly on a bulking phase.
Once winter settles in, I plan to increase both the frequency and intensity of my sessions. For the time being, I am content enough—just maintaining where I am and preparing to show off a bit once I hit the beach this summer. 🙂

Hey everyone 🙂,
I’ve been lurking on this forum for quite a while, so I finally decided to set up an account.
I’d love to get some honest feedback regarding my upper body.
1) Should I try to pack on a few more pounds, or stay at my current weight and focus on definition?
2) What’s the move with body hair—should I shave, trim it down, or just leave it as is?

For context, I’m 6'3" and 185 lbs. Cheers.

The pose is pretty much the same as the one from a few pages back, just shirtless this time. Knowledge was asking for an update, so I figured I'd meet him halfway and show off all that hard work and dedication 🤣

I shot this on my old phone (any Apple fans out there will recognize the model immediately 😁), so the quality isn't exactly top-tier

I haven't done any actual training since late May. I took Dr. Babas' advice to heart and decided to take it easy given how brutal the heatwaves have been lately (aside from a few brisk walks in the evening a couple of times a week)

P.S. I've had a new phone for ages now 😂

Here is an update now that summer is winding down and I've finally managed to pick up a bit of a tan. I took a two-week hiatus from the gym, and my diet while on vacation was... well, let's just say it was a disaster. From Mexican to Indian to standard American fare, I was essentially just gorging myself and drowning in cocktails.
Fortunately, I didn't completely lose all my progress, haha.
Now it's back to reality: hitting the gym hard and focusing on a heavy bulking phase through the winter months.🙂

Biceps 15.7", forearm 14.5", chest 45.5", quad 24.8", calf 15.3"

I'm 20 years old, standing 6'3" and weighing 190 lbs... this photo is actually a little old—I've seen a bit of a dip in my strength lately due to going out too much, drinking, and eating way too much junk food 😁. Honestly, the biggest hurdle has been the budget—it’s hard to afford enough protein when you're trying to hit that target of at least 2.5 grams per kilogram of body weight 😁

I'm basically a total newbie at the gym right now, so I figured I'd snap some photos today—just to see how much things change a year from now.
I don't really have a specific end goal yet, so feel free to roast me or give me some direction if you want. 😁

To start things off, here’s a photo of me from a month ago,

As for the end goal, this is what I'm aiming for. My main focus is building up the legs.

So, I actually got called out (by nobody else but my wife 😁) for posting my photos where I knew I wouldn't get any hate. And nope, it wasn't on ZK.

Anyway, here goes:

Someone actually had the nerve to accuse me of posting the exact same photos over and over—so, let's see if anyone can actually spot the progress now:

My bad, I didn't have my camera handy.

The camera quality is subpar and the lighting isn't great, but I honestly think I should drop another 5 or 6 pounds. 🤔

ps. obviously I'm a clone 🙂

P.S. Of course I'm a clone.🙂

Edit: The devil wouldn't leave me alone, so I had to take one in today's light too.

This one is from today, but the sunlight is messing with me, so it keeps coming out blurry: http://i45.tinypic.com/2vigpax.jpg

That's why I'm posting an older one instead: http://i49.tinypic.com/2vmt06g.jpg (please excuse the shirt lying on the bed😬)

And for the record, that isn't cellulite on my glutes—it's just a dimple, for heaven's sake! xD

Also, 5'6"/132-134 lbs.

This is how I look right now after finishing my workout. My ultimate goal is to achieve true muscle definition, so I would sincerely appreciate any constructive criticism or words of encouragement you might be willing to share. 😁

So, here I am after a bit of a hiatus 😍 Last summer, during those brutal heatwaves when it felt like we were hitting 120 degrees, I powered through Insanity—basically twice in a row. That really lit a fire under me, and I decided it was time to get serious about building actual muscle. For the last five weeks now, I’ve been hitting the gym six days a week. I've shifted my focus away from heavy cardio toward strength training; I’m lifting heavy, pushing my limits, and stretching constantly. I’m honestly so happy because I finally feel like I'm reaching my potential—aiming for that toned, muscular, yet feminine physique rather than just being "skinny" 🙂 And since I’ve crossed the 30 mark, I think the results are looking pretty decent 😬

Here is a shot of my upper body (my core could definitely be better, but I’m saving that for the final phase... right now, all my energy and focus are going into my legs and shoulders)

image

As for my lower body, these photos are just me in leggings, but I am absolutely loving my legs more and more. For years, I actually thought they were too thick, but just a few months ago, it finally clicked: having strong, muscular thighs is a massive advantage, not a flaw, hehe

image

This one is from a group kettlebell class, which gives you a rough idea of what the view looks like from behind :}

Alright, I’m finally getting around to sharing some photos from every angle so I can give you my honest take, and more importantly, get your valued feedback in return! 🙂 Unfortunately, I don't have any older shots like these—say, from about a year and a half ago before I started training—to really compare everything to, but I know deep down just how much I've managed to transform myself... So, looking at me now, what do you all think still needs work? Do you agree that my main focus should be on my back, or maybe tightening up my core/midsection a bit?

Here’s a full-body shot. As I mentioned before, my lower body—specifically my glutes and thighs—has always been a bit larger, though I’m actually really happy with how it looks now (there’s only a tiny bit left to refine here).
image

And here’s a closer look.
image

Now, this is the part I’m not happy with at all; I really want this area to look much firmer and more "rounded." 😬
image

And finally, a profile view.
image

I think that’s enough photos of me for one year! 😍 Maybe I went a little overboard since I posted recently, but I wanted to make sure these specific shots showed everything clearly, whereas the previous ones didn't quite capture the full picture. 🙂

after...

Back when I was at my heaviest, I wouldn't even touch a scale. I was probably pushing 220 lbs. Dropped most of it just by watching what I ate, plus some walking, swimming, and working out whenever I felt like it. Only started getting serious with regular home workouts this past month.
I know there’s still plenty of sweat equity needed, but compared to where I was... 🙄

5'8" / ~150lbs

Anyway, hoping to post more "after" shots soon.😁
