It’s been forever since I posted anything in here😁 (just ignore the mirror—my maid took her vacation again😬)
Anyway, I want my calves to look a bit more toned🙂—not like huge bodybuilder muscles, just that area down toward the ankle—but I have zero clue which exercises actually hit that spot, so if anyone has tips, let me know. If you get what I mean. I’m sure some of you remember how skinny my legs used to be😁—not complaining, though, they're way better now than they were. Two years ago I was 108 lbs, now I'm about 125🎉

After hesitating for the longest time, I’ve finally decided to pull the trigger and share this photo here! I'll be dropping some questions in the comments shortly to get your thoughts.

Well, I’m finally back after quite a stretch... though calling it a "break" might be generous—it was more like a six-month hiatus where I occasionally squeezed in a workout here and there. It wasn't exactly productive, to put it bluntly. Now, I am officially getting back into a disciplined routine. 😁
My objectives: increasing strength (specifically pull-ups), building muscle mass, improving cardiovascular conditioning, and incorporating yoga for mobility.

Hey everyone. I’ve been out of commission for four months following surgery. Before that, I put in a year of karate, six months of BJJ, three months of wrestling, and about two and a half years of MMA. This is where I'm at after just three weeks back at it, mostly focusing on pull-ups. It’ll improve once I start running again. Best,🙂

Here are my progress photos after about two and a half months of hitting the gym 😁
While I realize it’s unrealistic to expect a total transformation overnight, I was wondering if you all could weigh in on whether any noticeable improvement is starting to surface? 😛
I made an effort to take these shots in the same poses under identical lighting conditions, though they turned out just as they are 🙂
I would truly value any feedback you're willing to share, whether it's constructive criticism or a bit of encouragement 🙂

Back in February, I was sitting at about 170 lbs.🙈

Since then, I’ve stayed pretty active—lots of power walking, jumping rope, hitting some HIIT sessions, and swimming. By the summer, I think I had dropped down to around 140.
But once the weather turned cold, my activity levels dipped, social gatherings increased, and—well—I managed to pack on about 6 or 7 pounds.😁
Right now, I’m doing some CrossFit and Pilates. My main struggle is my legs. The front looks decent enough—considering I still have some extra weight to lose—but the back view is honestly tough to look at.What should I be doing about this? Are there specific exercises just for the back of the legs? The front is improving as I train, and I'm actually okay with my glutes—they've lifted a bit, even if they're naturally wide and flat—but the overall look is just frustrating.
In a month, I've lost 4 inches off my waist and about 2 from my hips.😢

(image)[/IMG]

My midsection could definitely improve, though I'm fairly happy with it given how stubborn it can be.

Let me know what you think.😉

Well, here is my contribution to the thread 🙂
I am 16 years old—started hitting the gym about four months ago—and I have gone from 80 kg to 90 kg since then. 😛

So, here's one clone trying to prove they actually do something with their life besides bickering on internet forums (or at least attempting to). 😁
I mean, I’ve never really been into training or anything, though I guess a little physical activity wouldn't hurt. I have been eating healthy for a pretty long time, though.
I actually started doing some bodyweight exercises a few days ago, so here’s what I look like at the starting line. 🙂

So, here I am 👋
What you’re looking at right now is what happens when you combine home workouts with some gym sessions—it hasn't been that long, though 😁
My main goal is definitely building up some serious muscle mass. 😬
Basically, I want to work my glutes and Jane Doe like this, lift and grow my butt, strengthen my back like this, and eventually hit that six-pack look...
Honestly, I’m pretty satisfied with how things are moving along—in such a short window, I’ve already managed to strengthen my back and develop a bit of a two-pack 😁 My Jane Doe haven't actually gotten any bigger visually, but they definitely feel stronger and more resilient ^^

Apologies for my terrible skills with MS Paint 😳

Here are my photos 🤦—it actually took me a while to work up the nerve to post them...

5'8", about 132 lbs, 26 years old
I finished an Insanity program back on March 8th, but I haven't really worked out since because I got sick—feeling better now, though
The only exercise I'm getting lately is all the walking I do for my new job
I'm also deep in study mode prepping for an exam, so my schedule is pretty slammed right now, but once that's over, I'm jumping right back into my routine

The first pic was taken Jan 21st, and the second one is from around March 29th

1) http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/8734/slika1uf.jpg

2) http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/489/slika2de.jpg

3) http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/3204/slika3n.jpg

4) http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/7985/slika4g.jpg

My biggest struggles are definitely my hips, my glutes (especially that little dip underneath), Jane Doe, and cellulite 🙂
Any advice at all would be super helpful 🙂

It turns out I actually look much better with a little extra weight on me than when I was thin... 🙄 Honestly, it took me thirty years to finally wrap my head around that, but I’ve finally arrived at that realization.

I'm 5'8" and standing proud at 152 lbs—this is the new me. 😁 This photo was taken today. My first priority was fixing my mindset and getting out of my own head, because I used to be so incredibly insecure about my body. I don't have some specific target weight or a number of inches I'm trying to lose; I'm not chasing anything like that anymore. My only goal in life now is simply to stay active and eat well. That's it. ☕

P.S. Don't mind my face in the photo... 😬

Hey everyone!
So, look, I’ve got some issues I'm trying to sort out, and I'm hoping you guys can throw me some pointers.
Basically, I really want to get rid of this extra weight hanging around my lower John Doe area and actually build up some definition in my upper abs, but I am completely lost on where to even start or what kind of routine I should be following. Please, if you have any ideas or advice, hit me up.
The thing is, a gym membership or hiring a personal trainer is totally off the table right now because, well... you know how it goes. Life happens. 🙂
Just for context, I'm 28, standing about 5'8" and weighing 141 lbs.
Thanks a ton in advance! 🙂

I was feeling kind of bored so I tried to snap a quick progress pic, but man, it turned out all blurry... anyway, I officially hit the gym about a month ago, though honestly, that first month was basically just me getting my bearings, learning how the machines work, and letting my body adjust to the new movement patterns. I’m starting to see a little bit of definition popping up in my biceps, triceps, and chest, but I'll be real with you—lifting heavy weights is still a massive struggle for me. My whey protein and dextrose finally showed up a few days ago, so I've started mixing those in right after my sessions. It's a bit frustrating because I've always had this crazy fast metabolism, and even before I started lifting, I struggled to pack on any weight; no matter what I eat, I just can't seem to get past 147 pounds.
Here’s the breakdown of what I’ve been hitting:
Chest:
pec deck 65, 75, 90, 100lbs | 4 sets of 12 reps
bench press 65lbs | 6 sets of 12 reps
dumbbell fly 25lbs | 5 sets of 12 reps
dumbbell pullover 35lbs | 5 sets of 12 reps
Back and Shoulders:
Lat pulldowns: 4 sets of 12 reps at 65, 75, 90, 100lbs
Seated cable rows: 4 sets of 12 reps at 65, 75, 90, 100lbs
upright row 45lbs | 4 sets of 12 reps
shoulder press 25lbs | 4 sets of 12 reps
lateral raise 15lbs | 4 sets of 12 reps
arm row 30lbs | 4 sets of 12 reps
Biceps and Triceps:
alternate curl 25lbs | 5 sets of 12 reps (each arm)
skull crusher 30lbs | 4 sets of 12 reps
tricep pushdown 45-55lbs | 4 sets of 12 reps
I also throw some kettlebell moves in there occasionally... I usually grab the 25lb one

I usually wrap things up with arms at the end of every session, and I rotate between chest, back, and shoulders on different days. I'm planning to start incorporating leg days soon too. As for abs, since you can clearly tell from the photo, I haven't really touched them yet🙂... maybe I should probably start giving them some love too.
I'm heading to the gym 4 times a week... if anyone has some solid advice or tips, I'm all ears!🙂

It’s hard to get a perfectly clear look since the photo was taken right before the jump, but if you ask me, focus on the legs and arms. They need work. 🙂

Check this one out; it gives a much better idea of how the legs actually look:

So,

For about a year and a half, I didn't lift a single finger. Then, I went through a month and a half of pure insanity—mostly because I just got burnt out, I guess—and now I’m just doing some recreational running. If anyone happens to run into me on the bike path, please don't make fun of me, because I am definitely slow. 😳

Hey everyone, thought I’d jump in here and join the conversation 🙂 Here is where things stand after finishing a 30-day shred and adding some extra work on top—basically about a month and a half of training after a pretty long winter of overindulging 😁 Overall, I’d say this is the best shape I've ever been in. My endurance and conditioning feel way better than they did back when I used to hit the gym regularly, though I know I still have a long way to go 🙂 I’m mostly focused on my abs right now, so if anyone has any tips, recommendations, or even just some constructive criticism, I'm all ears 🙂

Here’s a look at my lower half. I’m pretty happy with my legs, even if they aren't exactly long 🙂
Now, the goal is the glutes. I want some actual muscle back there—just a solid, healthy mass. Wish me luck 🙂
(Clumsiness is basically my middle name. I managed to break my thumb while out for a run, so yeah, it was bad. Now I guess I just have nothing to do but squat until it heals)

Criticism noted. Mod, could you please merge this photo into the previous post? Thanks 🙂
