If I take an extreme gainer once every two weeks before hitting the gym, is it going to cause any issues? It's really all I have on hand right now.

And you claim the isolate is superior, yet I see no significant price gap, though 5 kg certainly outweighs 4 kg.
For me, 500g lasts about a month.
It is an absolute certainty that the isolate is better; hydroisolate is undeniably the gold standard in terms of quality. However, it is prohibitively expensive, and even a standard isolate tends to cost significantly more than concentrate if you actually bother to compare brands... most options on the market are just concentrates or blends. But frankly, it doesn't matter; as long as you're getting those gains, that's all that counts.

Itβs actually hydrolysate, not a waterproofing agent. Honestly, itβs just one of those things meant for people with money to burn; it really isn't worth the investment.

Well, get ready, because you're about to get another facepalm just like that one. π

Alright, fair enough... I guess I won't grab it then.
At least it gave me a good laugh.

Look, if you really need an answer to thisβsince you seem stuck on itβjust drink it right after you finish up at the gym. Just toss a scoop into some water, shake it up, and you're good to go.

jadetiger962 said:Just so you have an answerβif you really need to ask, just drink it after your gym session by mixing a scoop with some water.
I don't actually need it, I was just wondering if there were any side effects. I highly doubt taking it once every couple of weeks would make me gain weight.
Thanks!

Just grab some after every gym session.
And don't sweat itβitβs definitely not going to make you gain fat.
Honestly, next time, just pick up some pure Whey protein Isolate and some glucose. It's actually better for you and way cheaper too.

Hello everyone π
I recently picked up some whey protein from Walmart; the chocolate flavor is decent enough, though it leans perhaps a bit too sweet for my liking π₯³ The packaging suggests mixing it with cold waterβis that a strict requirement, or would it be acceptable to use milk instead? I have a feeling it might actually taste better with milk... ππ
As for timing, should I be drinking this in the morning or later in the afternoon? Just to clarify, Iβm not looking to build muscle mass, but rather to add a bit more substance to my plant-based diet π€·

Should I drink this in the morning or later in the day? Also, I'm not really doing this for muscle building; I just want to bulk up my plant-based diet π€·
But there isn't much protein in that stuff. It's negligible. You'd be better off buying some amaranth or quinoa. Just stick to cheese and eggs...

Ethan Garcia8 said:But honestly, there's hardly any protein in it. Itβs practically negligible.

Then what on earth is it actually for? π Since I went ahead and bought it already... π³

So whatβs the point of it then? π Since I already bought it... π³
Look, it's just DM-whey. π Honestly, it's pretty useless. π I wouldn't even finish the whole thing; it's probably loaded with aspartame and god knows what else, while there's hardly any actual protein in there. π

And what exactly is the purpose of it then? π Since I have already purchased... π³
Honestly, ignore them; people simply live in a state of constant fear, and those proteins aren't going to cause you any harm π... naturally, one will ask questions when they have doubts regarding certain ingredients, which are clearly listed on the packaging...
In any case, liquid whey has a lower protein percentage because it consists largely of water, yet whey proteins remain the superior choice...
Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) β 159
Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) β 104
Egg β 100
Milk β 91
Egg white β 88
Chicken β 79
Casein β 77
Soy β 74

James Lewis6 said:Basically, whey has a lower protein percentage because there's so much water content involved, but honestly, whey proteins are top-tier...
Could you maybe walk me through what those numbers actually represent? Iβm really hoping they aren't referring to percentages...

jadetiger962 said:Maybe you should try explaining what those numbers actually mean to you... I really hope they aren't supposed to be percentages.
Itβs just the protein concentration ratioβusing a standard egg as the baseline of 100.
