Yeah, sure... if you're injecting a few units of insulin right before you hit the gym, then yeah 🤣

Honestly, there’s no point in me even typing this out. We’re talking basics here... just go read T Nation

But it’s unnecessary. A decent amount of glucose will get the job done just fine.☕

Based on that, I should've been in the hospital a long time ago.

Are we talking about an insulin "spike"?

Or hypoglycemia symptoms?

And you noticed my comment:
Jason Campbell70 said:Of course. When I mention hypoglycemia, don't immediately jump to those extreme, drastic symptoms.

I was referring to things like tremors, hunger, and other milder signs—not, say, a coma or similar "serious" consequences.

Hypoglycemia isn't some rare or alien disorder; it happens to everyone.

Hypoglycemia isn't some rare mystery either; it happens to just about everyone.

Never noticed any of that...

So, here is a look at what Zlatko has been up to

Nice physique, pretty balanced, though he's lacking enough mass (or maybe just too tall) to actually hold his own against those shorter, powerhouse winners.

The Adriatic would take him easily if he'd just fix those legs. 😁

Honestly, I don't think anyone can touch Zlatko's numbers—today, some guy managed to bench 240 kg on an incline, and people actually started treating the gym like a freaking sportsbook again because of it!

Piralić is killer, but he’s got two issues—one he can fix, the other? Not so much...

his calves are lagging behind quite a bit, which is fixable...

but the real issue is his height. Being tall means some short dude is always gonna steal the win in the heavyweight division because they just look way more massive next to him. There's nothing he can do about that...

reminds me of another tall beast from around here, Eugene—now that was a monster...

Let’s circle back to the main topic here
To me, using a 1:2 ratio in my shaker feels way too sweet—it’s honestly almost nauseating
I usually use a 20g scoop, so I toss in two scoops along with 5g of creatine and 5g of glutamine, but man, I just can't stomach that much glucose. Would it be better if I dialed it back? Maybe try a 1:0.5 ratio instead?

That’s exactly the kind of reaction I was aiming for—😁 Look, I know Eugene personally, and despite how intimidating he looks, he’s actually a decent guy.😬

Look, you’re clearly hung up on the glucose thing, but we already covered this—there's no need to beat a dead horse regarding the "why" and "how." Since you're also taking creatine, that glucose is pretty much essential for fast absorption within your MuscleTech. What you could try is switching to a different whey—maybe a different flavor or a different brand entirely—so it isn't quite so sugary on its own. Then, when you add the glucose, it won't be overwhelming. Or, you know, just grit your teeth and deal with it.

Honestly, I'm just not feeling the vibe with Optimum Nutrition lately...

I’ve got some Scitec Isolate at home... honestly, I can't find a single thing to complain about—highly recommend it.

And that first problem actually has a solution --> pack on another 45 lbs of muscle😁

Look, in my humble opinion, Scitec is just as mediocre as Biotech—neither one really hits the mark for me.
If you want the good stuff, I'd definitely suggest sticking with Optimum Nutrition or maybe Weider instead.

Alright, let’s hear it—why is Scitec actually trash?

Just a heads up: I’m not interested in any of those weak-ass arguments like "my buddy told me it sucks," "it's too cheap to be good," or "I read some random thread online saying it's just crushed-up cookies"... don't even bother with that nonsense.

Scitec is trash?

Scitec is decent enough—not quite on the level of Optimum, but certainly better than Biotech.

A middle ground, I suppose.

Though... rowdyfalcon16🤣 could have picked something better than Isolate.
But for a beginner? It'll do fine.
