I gave it a shot—and honestly, it felt about as mediocre as anything from Biotech—but I’ve been chatting with some veterans who have been in the BB scene for ages, and they’re telling me that Scitec is pretty much garbage. Apparently, it's actually better to just steer clear of it entirely rather than wasting your money on it.

Great points!...

it’s basically like saying "I'm an expert on sex because my buddy watched a movie about it"😁

I wouldn't say I've got all the facts straight regarding this particular subject—I'm definitely still a novice here—but I am making steady progress as I learn the ropes 😁

I’ve been using the Myomax from Scitec lately, and I have to say, I’m genuinely impressed. The flavor is spot on—not one of those chalky ones you usually run into—and if you stay consistent with your training sessions, you can really start to see the progress kicking in after a while. It’s definitely doing its job for me!

Biotech, Scitec, Multipower... total garbage.

Honestly, Weider is slowly turning into a joke.

Optimum, Dymatize, Labrada... they're alright.

But if you want the best? Twinlab is miles ahead of everyone else.

In what sense?

Because their stuff is just cleaner.
Look, if you take their Mass Fuel, for example, it’s totally fat-free. Just to give you some perspective, compare that to Weider’s Anabolic Revolution—you're looking at 7.5g of fat there, even though they're supposed to be serving the exact same purpose.
...

You won't find a single complaint about their products anywhere on the internet; it's nothing but praise (and yeah, I'm talking about myself since I've been using them lately).

They actually won Manufacturer of the Year.
Back in 2002, they were voted the #1 American brand by actual US athletes.

And at the end of the day, PRICE DEFINES QUALITY!!!!

So, who exactly has been taking home those awards over the last six years?

Price doesn't define quality; the importer defines the price. If you look at Twinlab products out in the States, they are WAY cheaper than what we see here because the local distributor just pads their margins to an insane degree. Besides, there’s no rule that says a higher price tag actually translates to better stuff.

Look, price doesn't define quality—the importer defines the price. Over in the States, Twinlab products are WAY cheaper than what we see here because our local distributors slap on these insane margins. Plus, just because something costs more doesn't automatically mean it's better.

They scrapped the award altogether.😁

It really is linked, though. Sure, Twinlab might rip you off, but at least you know exactly what you're getting...

Everything else is way cheaper abroad, too.

I wouldn't say it's a given, either; anyone claiming otherwise clearly hasn't spent much time looking into this. Honestly, it's like trying to find high-end, artisanal organic milk—it's incredibly high quality, but for you, it would probably cost a small fortune just to get a single gallon. It has to be top-tier because, let's face it, the price tag is steep...

In the States, Twinlab is priced right in line with about 90% of the other manufacturers. It’s nothing special. The only reason they’re overpriced here is because the importer is padding their margins just to line their own pockets. So yeah 😁

So, are you trying to say Twinlab isn't any good, or...
if that's the case, who do you think is actually the best manufacturer?

If you ask me, it’s all the same crap... 😁

I finally grew a brain. Now, I’d much rather put my money into steak and eggs than waste it on that stuff. I just grab some budget whey and maltodextrin, then dump everything else into actual food...

finally woke up and realized I'd rather put my money into steak and eggs than all that junk... just grab some cheap whey and dextrose—keep the rest for actual food...

Look, you've got a kid who's a junior champion at an elite academy like IMG Academy, and his whole stack is just whey, sugar, and creatine... everything else comes straight from real food.

Nicholas Kern90 said:before 2-3 g/kg

I’m still struggling to wrap my head around this one.
If the recommendation is to hit about 45g of protein and 90g of glucose after a workout, how does that math work if I only weigh 155 lbs? Based on that 2-3g/kg estimate, I’d be looking at roughly 150g—which seems impossible. If we assume a standard three-day training split per week, wouldn't that total amount essentially cover my entire weekly intake?

Ah, I see—taking the rest of my protein intake into account... I was focusing solely on the whey protein, which is why I got a bit turned around there.

What’s the deal with Inkospor?
