The scoop is about 30 gramsβ€”roughly two heaped tablespoons if you're using a regular spoon. As for the shaker, it’s just a plastic container that’s way easier to toss in your gym bag than those bulky tubs. And look, don't go drinking this stuff three or four times a day; just have one serving after your workout, and stick to water instead of milkβ€”it digests better. If you really want to stretch it, you could always stir a scoop of whey into some oatmeal and milk for breakfast in the morning.

hey guys (mostly looking for the 😁 crew)
I'm trying to track down a specific supplement
Honestly, I'm pretty hopeless when it comes to dealing with all these online orders and shipping stuff, so if anyone here buys in bulk, sells, or whatever 😁 just hit me up via DM so we can work out a price and figure things outπŸ˜‰

Hopefully this isn't too much off-topic, but I couldn't find any other thread where I could ask about this
Thanks, catch ya laterπŸ˜‰

The whole ordering process is becoming a bit of a headache, so if anyone here handles supplement sourcing or is selling anything, 😁 please shoot me a DM so we can hash out the details and priceπŸ˜‰

Hopefully this isn't too far off-topic, I just couldn't find a thread specifically for this kind of thing.
Thanks, catch you later.πŸ˜‰

Has anyone here actually tried ISO Sensation 93 from Ultimate Nutrition? I'm curious to hear what your experience has been like!

Just swung by Optimum Nutrition to grab a 5lb tub of whey once it hits the shelves $197. Ended up walking out with 5lbs of Weider for $183 instead. Honestly, those guys won't be seeing me again anytime soon. I only picked this up because I was running dangerously low on protein, but from here on out, I’m hunting for better deals. I'm sick of overpaying when there are much cheaper options out there. But hey, that's just the recession for you 😁
.
I figured Inkospor would be the budget-friendly move, but looking at the prices here, they're actually pricier than these
.

Not sure if it's a distributor thing or if they just hiked up their prices

You can grab Prosport rolls, obviously, provided you know someone heading over to Canada or if you happen to live right near the border.

I'm nowhere near the border and I don't know anyone traveling to Canada either.

Jason Baker59 said:I don't actually hit the gymβ€”my routine is mostly bodyweight push-ups and boxing trainingβ€”so I'm wondering if there’s any real point in me messing around with whey protein? Thanks in advance.πŸ˜‰

It really depends on what you're aiming for, doesn't it? If you want my takeβ€”and you probably don'tβ€”you should definitely be hitting that shake right after your workout, preferably mixed with water. Personally, I stick to water and a bit of glucose post-training to get things moving. As for breakfast, if you just toss one scoop into some oatmeal in the morning, you’ve basically got yourself an ideal meal. Simple enough.

Don't go making the mistake of sipping on protein three or four times a day just because that's what you readβ€”you’ll end up seeing absolutely zero results from it. Honestly, unless you're actually hitting the gym consistently, those extra shakes are pretty much useless. If you can't manage to sit down for a proper, real meal because your schedule is a mess, then sure, maybe toss a shake in there to bridge the gapβ€”but let's not pretend it's a magic fix for a bad diet.

If even dancers are chugging this stuff after a workout, I don't see why boxers wouldn't be doing the exact same thing.
You don't have to worry about growing a third arm.
Honestly, I think there's more upside than downside hereβ€”assuming the only thing getting hurt is your wallet. πŸ˜‰

Pro Nutrition is actually an American company, so you'll get the best deal if you order in bulk.

Check out their website for all the specifics.

I really hope nobody takes this as me trying to push a product here. The guy just mentioned what he uses, and I’m just sharing what works for me. 🀷

I picked up some Das Gesunde Plus protein, a sports supplement, about 300g of $13 at a local CVS. I’ve been taking roughly 30g a day just to stay on top of things, since I make it a point to go swimming every single day during the summer. It shouldn't cause any issues.

Man, toss that stuff. You're just gonna end up with man boobs.

(Seriously though, it's loaded with soy)

That's a fair point. I always used to wonder why my vegetarian neighbor had such massive chest muscles.πŸ‘

I see they offer two different types of whey: CFM whey isolate and Whey.pro. What’s the actual difference between those two?

One of them is an isolate 😁 while the other is likely just a concentrate or maybe some kind of concentrate-isolate blend.

So you're saying the second one digests slower?
