I literally explained to him—I told him straight up—that I'd been reading about how antibiotics just make fungal infections explode, so I've been washing with plain water, sticking to a Candida diet, and taking LGG probiotics... and he just laughs at me. He actually smirks and tells me I SHOULDN'T BE READING SO MUCH STUFF ON THE INTERNET and just hands me the prescription!!!!!!!!!!! So now what??? SEE!!!! 😠 😠 😠

Anyhow.. I’ve basically tried every single thing on the market to fight off yeast infections.. just like you have.
When nothing else was working, I went full "alternative medicine" mode. I was soaking cotton swabs in entire lines of dairy products from brands like Lactacyd and shoving them inside.. then garlic, all sorts of herbs, oils, blah blah blah..
I also cut my carbs down to what I could barely tolerate.
And guess what? I was stuck in this constant cycle of fungal inflammation for like four straight years.

Anyhow, then this year I changed my doctor, Ginić, and this new lady prescribed me some Itraconazole tablets. The plan was to take two in the morning and two at night, once a month, for six months.
+ I kept up with that low-carb diet too (I totally cut out sugar.. chocolate is gone, and I really scaled back on ice cream, pastries, and sweets, plus bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes were kept to an absolute minimum.)
And honestly? I have to admit, I feel so much better..
I finished that six-month treatment course two months ago, and so far, zero signs of fungus.
+ Plus, I stopped taking all those birth control pills (which I actually had to take because of PCOS) that were definitely helping trigger and maintain the whole fungal mess..
At this point, I’m telling everyone they can take my ovaries out for all I care, but I am never going back on those pills again because my abdominal cysts were starting to get out of hand.

Honestly, isn't it just the absolute worst when they come back? Like, you spend all this time thinking you finally kicked those pests to the curb for good, and then—bam—here we go again. It’s infuriating. I was actually having a total meltdown earlier too, mostly because being sick just makes everything ten times more annoying. Anyway, I've actually started following a strict diet now, kind of like what you're doing, so let's see if it actually works for once!
