Hey, Ashley Watson!

But you've only got that Tuesday morning slot!!! Call them tomorrow.
Just gotta be relentless on the phone.

I'm feeling way better since I started taking it, so I'm hoping this becomes the permanent plan. At least that's what the doctor promised me. I'll double-check once my lab results come back.

Man, I was dealing with this for about six or seven months straight, but things seemed to settle down quite a bit over the summer 😁 now... what’s throwing me off is that I don't have that intense itching or anything like what I felt during a major yeast infection breakout 😁 ...but after I pee, I still get this sensation like something is just "leaking," right from the vaginal opening—pardon my bluntness—and I have this increased white discharge. It feels like there's more going on down there, even if those classic, invasive symptoms aren't really present... so I'm feeling a little confused about whether I should actually seek treatment or just let it be... hmm...
so does using a tampon work okay in this situation? 😉

Ugh, I totally get that feeling!
It’s like you can just sense something is off, even if nothing is showing up yet. You seriously need to go get checked out—because they might be lurking under the radar right now, just waiting for your immune system to take a dip before they really start acting up. DO IT!
Taking LGG helps too, whether you're swallowing a pill or just drinking it in a smoothie! 😁

Also, try to cut back on the sugar, sweets, and anything loaded with yeast (seriously, watch the bread and stuff)! 👋

Is it just me, or does this whole situation feel a little... gross?

For context, I dealt with this thick, white discharge—and I mean completely white, like Greek yogurt—for ages. Nothing seemed to touch it. It wasn't until my doctor finally ran a swab test that they told me everything was perfectly normal. 😕
It’s almost as if being on birth control makes the discharge a bit thicker... 🙄 Anyway, it eventually cleared up on its own, though in my head, I'm still convinced it was some kind of yeast infection...

So, I dealt with this thick white discharge—like, seriously white, looking straight up like yogurt—for the longest time. Nothing worked. Finally, my doctor decided to run a swab, and turns out? Absolutely nothing was wrong. 😕

Get this: 😁 I had that same white discharge issue forever. My regular doctor at the local clinic wouldn't say a word about it. I asked him like, what, two times if it was normal, and the guy was just totally clueless. Just "mhm"ing me while I'm standing there. So, I went to a specialist instead. That guy tells me I have some bacteria (can't remember the name, honestly) that’s actually pretty common, usually found near the anus—yeah, mostly from anal sex—and he says Klimicin would clear it up if I wanted to deal with it, since it's more or less normal.

Alright, so I finish the treatment, right? Five days of it. Then, like three days later—wtf 😕—I get a yeast infection. 😬 Apparently, it happened because I was on antibiotics a few months before taking the Klimicin.

God, life is such a joke. 🙂

It’s funny how things work out... you’ve practically described my exact situation.
I ended up dealing with a bladder and kidney infection caused by E. coli—basically, those bacteria live in your gut, but if they decide to wander off where they don't belong, they start causing absolute chaos.
That discharge popped up right around the same time, too. I actually brought it up to Ginić, but he couldn't have cared less about what I was telling him...

Dump Ginić then, but hey, that's your call 😁 btw, and yeah, I was on antibiotics for a bladder infection too 😁

Honestly, that’s an old story at this point. I actually swapped them out about three months ago... and frankly, I’m just as unhappy with this current batch, so I'm back on the hunt...

The doc tells me I have some kind of bacteria—can't remember the name, honestly—that’s actually pretty common, lives near the anus, (apparently you get it most from anal sex) and that Klimicin suggests I clear it up (if I even want to, since it's more or less normal) when I feel like it.

It sounds like you had E. coli. I had it for a long, long time myself, but in my urine, and I eventually cleared it. But every single time I got it, I’d get a yeast infection too. So... yeah. Total crap. Then after a round of antibiotics, back to the yeast infections. Honestly, ladies, I am officially done with those antibiotics, for sure!

And who told you that you mostly get it from anal sex? Please. You can pick it up just from wiping after you go to the bathroom. You could practically get it every day if you aren't careful. I really hope you're wiping front to back?

Ginić said. And obviously, there are other ways to get it, just not in the way I just described—not in my case, anyway.

Hell, if you aren't careful with how you wipe, you could practically contract it every single day. That’s why I sincerely hope you’re practicing the "front to back" method when you wipe, right?

When I was dealing with E. coli, my doctor mentioned that transmission via anal sex is a real risk if a partner moves from one area to another without cleaning up first—which, frankly, left me feeling quite 🙂...
As for the wiping situation, that was actually my first question. The idea of wiping from back to front is equally revolting to me...

Look, he told me, "You can kill me if you want," and gave me this little smirk. By the way, it wasn't E. coli—it was something else starting with an "R".

It’s honestly mind-blowing how much these OB-GYNs actually have no clue what they're talking about!!!
Every single one I’ve seen has given me a different story!!!

And regarding that whole LGG and tampon situation—look, I'm telling you, when those damn symptoms hit you out of nowhere, you'd probably shove anything up there just to make the pain stop! 😢

I’d much rather go with Vagisan wipes since they have lactic acid, similar to how I use the Lactacyd wash.

I just don't get it. How is it that they never seem to pick up any bacteria or fungi? It’s always us catching everything... how does that even 😢

Are you constantly popping antibiotics?

Eat yogurt—once a day.
Wear loose cotton pants or skirts. Skip the tights. Or if you absolutely have to—go with thick leggings or stay with just socks.
Wash your lady parts with just water. (Or specialized soaps, if you’re really going to insist)

Avoid tampons.
When it comes to pads, don't go for those ultra-thin ones; grab something slightly thicker (always stick to regular, and change them often) or even better, go old-school with the ones that aren't "super absorbent"—those thin ones always give you this fake sense of dryness.

After you pee, wipe from front to back. Always.
Whenever you get the chance, go commando in some wide, comfy loungewear.

And seriously, go get a Pap smear done.

I'd also add: ditch the thongs, and work on boosting your immune system (maybe try some Aloe Vera or some other natural supplement) 😉
