And don't you dare start playing anything else right nowβ€”just throw some Lady Gaga into the player instead.😁 😁

Honestly, maybe I went a little overboard there... but I still can't shake the feeling that way too much drama was stirred up over one single donkey.
And look, I’m not going to go in circles repeating myselfβ€”for the exact same reasons
mentioned. Actually, we could probably point to a much closer example of a crime we've all essentially participated in at least once... I'm talking about those traveling circuses where we take our kids just to watch them laugh. HELLO?! I mean, really...

Anyway, I agree it's time to wrap up this trivial debate and get back to the music... though I wonder if Lady Gaga realizes what kind of thread we've turned her topic intoβ€”she'd probably just shoot us all one by one.😁 😁

Well, there we goβ€”everything is finally sorted out! πŸ™‚ This space really shouldn't be used for anything other than music, and honestly, I owe everyone an apology if I came off a bit too intense or "intoxicated" by my own enthusiasm during our last chat! πŸ˜‰

She isn't some oddball. Honestly, I've met plenty of people who claim to be perfectly "normal" who turned out to be far weirder than she is. She’s just incredibly self-aware, and she doesn't bother wasting her energy on people who are just mediocreβ€”if you know what I mean. She’s constantly evolving and perfecting her craft instead of just standing still. Besides, anyone working in Hollywood is basically "weird" by default anyway.

If you haven't seen Black Swan yet, go watch it ASAP...

It's her only movie, but she absolutely kills it...

Honestly, such a beautiful film...

I'm from North Mexico, by the way. Just joined the forum, so sorry if my American isn't great...

Women are always right.

And if you find that "weird," then you clearly haven't been paying attention to the real avant-garde 😁. They’d probably just marry her. Assuming, of course, she enjoys doing the dishes and ironing everything. 😁

Yeah, things get weird whenever people start discussing her vocals.
In any case, she has an incredible voice, but the songwriting can be hit or miss... *Selmasongs* and *Homogenic* are top-tier albums, whereas *Medulla* had a great concept but the execution felt off (personally, I found "Where Is the Line" featuring Mike Patton to be way too repetitive).

Wait, wasn't it just me and the beaver hanging out in this thread? Why can't I find us anywhere? πŸ˜•

Staying on topic; let me quote the beaver...

"If there’s anything more annoying than Lady Gaga, it’s her fan club." πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

To be honest, when Lady Gaga first popped up, her music and her whole vibe just totally rubbed me the wrong way. Everything about it. But as I got older, I started to give her work a fair shake, and man, I finally realized how incredible she actually is.
For me, Vespertine is the absolute standoutβ€”it hits home for me both sonically and lyrically...
Lady Gaga might be a bit of an oddball, but she’s an oddball artist, and that's what makes her great.πŸ™‚

Add in the women on her follower list, too.

Ouch.

That was pretty much spot on.

I suppose I’ve matured a bit since then, though; I’ve given her discography a second look and finally realized just how talented she actually is.
*Vespertine* remains my absolute favorite; there’s just something about the soundscape and the themes that hits incredibly close to home.
Lady Gaga might be an oddball, but she’s an artist through and through.πŸ™‚
