It looks like everyone is putting their money on Lyon, but honestly, their president just went on record saying they’d actually prefer sticking with the Europa League because they want to give their fans more of those big European matchups. It makes you wonder, though—how much gas are they actually going to have in the tank to go out there and tear the net open today? They might just cruise through at a snail's pace, especially since they’ve got a massive showdown against PSG waiting for them this weekend.

There is absolutely no reason to stir up trouble with Dinamo 🙂 unless there’s some sort of cosmic debt being settled for those 1:7 blowouts we endured. 😉

Pivaric has arrived. Between him and guys like Gojak and Knezevic...
It’s almost certain that Lyon will just steamroll them. 🙂

Why on earth did my penalty tip for Besiktas - Benfica get deleted? It actually hit—someone could have made some decent cash off that! -.-

If I’ve got this right, my mistake was mentioning a sportsbook that isn't on the approved list—since Favbet is actually mentioned in the rules PDF as a "no-advertising" zone—and also posting it less than three hours in advance (I was about an hour short of the mark).

I’ve been following this thread for quite a while now, and honestly, we need more people here... but we aren't going to see any new faces if we start penalizing newcomers over silly little things like this! Meanwhile, you’ve got people having heated debates where they're just being rude or condescending, which doesn't even violate the rulebook at all....

Google

Man, 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 🤦🤦

What else should I have included—the roster, the referees, or maybe my wife's monthly anniversary list of defensive players?

It’s honestly no surprise that PDF isn't working... I just explained that everything is out in the open within the group, and that the sheer tension involved can trigger those kinds of errors leading to penalties. Maybe that sounds like a silly explanation to you guys, but hey—it actually made me some money!

Actually, it’s the opposite... the PDF has been working way better lately because all those stupid "analyses" are gone.
If people have something worth saying, they'll say it. If they're too lazy or just don't know what to say, they won't. Simple as that.
The explanation for why it was deleted was just plain dumb, coming from whoever the mod was.

Hey there,

Here’s a pick from my side:

18:45 --- Besiktas - Benfica --- PENALTY --- YES --- 3.3 FAVBET --- 7/10

In a group where absolutely anything can happen, I’m betting on things getting heated tonight—expect plenty of tension and some messy contact inside the box. Good luck to everyone!

Honestly, you could write that exact same thing about every single football match ever played. Save the arrogance and the "expert" attitude for someone else.

Burnley-Manchester City (1-2)

The NFL Week 13 schedule kicks off with a clash at Turf Moor as Burnley hosts Manchester City. A win here would see City briefly seize the top spot in the standings. Pep Guardiola’s squad has already checked off their first major objective in Europe, securing their spot in the Champions League knockout stages following a draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach. In domestic play, they remain strong, though two home draws against bor and Southampton cost them a much more comfortable lead in the rankings. Looking at recent betting trends, City’s last two away matches resulted in wins against Crystal Palace and WBA. Burnley currently sits in 12th place. For any team returning to the big leagues, the goal is to stay there, and Sean Dyche has his side on a promising path. However, they are coming off a tough 4-0 loss away at WBA. You can expect Burnley to fight hard at home; they held Swansea to a narrow 1-0 loss in the season opener and pushed Arsenal right to the brink before losing 1-0 late. Their most impressive home results this season have been victories over Liverpool and Everton. While this should be an engaging match, the gap in sheer talent favors the visitors. Sergio Agüero is expected to start, providing a massive boost to Guardiola’s lineup given his eight goals so far. With such deep creative talent, City should find a way to break through the home defense and walk away with a two-goal victory.

TIP: Manchester City (h:0-1) 1.80 @ Super Sport
STAKE: 6/10

Heerenveen - Ajax 2 1,80 SS (0-1)

Looking at this matchup, Ajax is currently sitting just two points behind Feyenoord at the top of the Eredivisie. Since Feyenoord is also playing an away game, there’s a real chance for Ajax to snatch that first-place spot if things go their way this weekend. Heerenveen hasn't quite found their rhythm lately—they're winless in their last three outings. They actually played at home last week too, and it was a real nail-biter where they managed to claw back an equalizer through Veerman in the 85th minute. Even though they've been struggling to close games out recently, they're still sitting pretty in fourth place, which honestly makes this feel like a bit of a heavyweight clash for the league. They did manage a solid 2-2 draw against Feyenoord on the road earlier, which looked great until they dropped a 3-1 decision to Sparta. Ajax, on the other hand, is juggling a lot right now with multiple fronts to worry about. They've been absolutely tearing it up in Europe, and in the league, they've only stumbled once all season. Their recent history against Heerenveen is pretty dominant, too—they haven't lost to them in 18 matches. After the heartbreak of missing out on Champions League qualification earlier this season, Peter Bosz has really had his squad playing with a chip on their shoulder. The big news here is that Hakim Ziyech is fully recovered and back in the mix. Ajax rested several heavy hitters during their last Europa League match to keep them fresh, so we should see some serious talent on the pitch today. With guys like Sinkgraven, Veltman, Viergever, Davinson Sánchez, Hakim Ziyech, Davy Klaassen, Bertrand Traoré, and Kasper Dolberg available, it feels like they're bringing their A-game. It's basically a roster full of top-tier talent ready to go.

HNL, 11/27, 3:00 PM
Osijek vs. Dinamo 2-1, 1.75 Pinnacle (0-2)
Stake: 6/10

Alright, look, this bet has absolutely zero statistical backing—honestly, it’s not even based on player form—but I just have to pull the trigger on this one. Everyone knows the deal with Dinamo’s reign over the HNL; it's all about those convenient referee calls whenever they need them and letting their opponents off easy. This season, though, Dinamo is genuinely worse than they've ever been. They've sold off almost everything that actually worked, and after embarrassing themselves in Europe, they aren't even dominating the domestic league anymore. The gap between them and Rijeka is getting seriously scary—we're talking a 9-point deficit with a game in hand halfway through the season—and if they don't start stringing wins together, it's over.
Osijek has been fantastic this year, and if they pull this win off, they'll be right up there level with Dinamo, but I honestly don't think the Blue side can let that happen. If they don't walk away with a victory today, I’ll happily say they won't win the title this year, which at this point sounds like pure science fiction.
It is bizarre, but Dinamo is actually playing much better on the road than they are at home this season. Out of 8 away games in the HNL, they've grabbed 7 wins, with their only loss coming against the leaders, Rijeka. Now, Osijek is solid at home—they've only lost once in 8 matches, that opening loss to Rijeka—but you can't compare any of these teams to the absolute rulers of American soccer.
To make things even better for this bet, Osijek will be playing without their star striker and best player, Ejupi, which definitely tips the scales in my favor. And frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the usual "friendly" officiating shows up if they need it.

Matoc from the local area is officiating today. Honestly, it’s pretty obvious what’s coming. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more than four and a half yellow cards handed out by the time this is over.

Here’s my one football parlay to kick off the week.
Inter vs. Istra is looking like a total mess, and honestly, if you aren't eyeing the Under 2.5 at 1.57, what are you even doing? I’m sitting here looking at that 2-2 scoreline from before and just shaking my head—it was pure chaos. It feels like both sides are just stumbling around the pitch without any real tactical discipline. I've got a gut feeling this one is going to be a defensive grind rather than another shootout. Expecting goals to fly in constantly here feels like a massive gamble when neither side seems to have their act together.
Bayern-Atletico/Atletico scores a goal at 1.64 (1-0)

Juventus vs. Dinamo: 1 - 1.11 (2-0)

A total of 2.86 on WWin.
Entry 3/10

Inter vs. Istra – December 5th at 6:00 PM.
Inter, Istra, and Slaven are all sitting right there with 18 points, while Lokomotiva is trailing by just a single point behind them. This whole group is basically looking at a battle for those spots between 5th and 8th place, especially since Cibalia is already lagging nine points behind Lokomotiva and Osijek is a massive 15 points clear of this trio. Because of that, this match is absolutely critical for the teams fighting to grab that 5th spot. Since we’re talking about direct competitors, it’s a total no-brainer that this is going to be an incredibly tight, gritty, and hard-fought contest.
Both sides are seriously lacking in offensive firepower; they just can't seem to find the back of the net, which makes this a statistically nightmare matchup to call.
Inter is an incredibly tough nut to crack, especially when they're playing on their home turf where they’ve been sitting on an 8:7 goal difference through 8 matches. If you factor in those two cup games, they’ve actually seen under 2.5 goals in 9 out of 10 matches. And let's be real—the teams they've faced on the road have been way more explosive offensively than Istra could ever hope to be.
Look, out of all the 19 matches we've seen this season—and yeah, I'm not even counting that weird cup game against the small-town underdog from Bijelo Brdo—we've had four games go over. One of those was that absolute madness against Istra, but honestly? You can bet your life that kind of chaotic scoring spree isn't happening again anytime soon.
Look, the numbers don't lie here. Inter has been absolutely tearing it up on the road, bagging 8 goals in just 8 away matches, yet they’ve somehow managed to hit the "under" in 12 out of their 19 games this season. It’s a bizarre pattern, honestly, but it tells you everything you need to know about their rhythm. Given how these stats are stacking up, this match is practically begging to stay under. It should be a low-scoring affair, plain and simple.

Bayern vs. Atletico – December 6th at 8:45 PM.
Look, the situation in this LP group is already a closed case—Atletico is locked in at first, Bayern is guaranteed second, so strictly speaking, this match doesn't change a thing for the standings. Because there’s zero pressure on the outcome, I’m fully expecting both sides to rotate their squads. Plus, since neither team needs to fight tooth and nail for a result, they'll probably take a much more relaxed approach defensively. Honestly, if this game actually mattered for the table, we'd see a tactical grind, but as it stands, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a total goal fest.
Bayern is seriously struggling lately. They aren’t sitting pretty at the top of the Bundesliga anymore, and frankly, their defense has been a complete disaster zone—they're conceding way more goals than they ever used to. You really have to strike when the iron is hot, and looking at the stats, they've conceded at least one goal in 13 of their last 16 matches. Now, look, I know Atletico isn't exactly known for being an offensive powerhouse, but given how shaky Bayern's backline looks right now, even in a match that doesn't carry massive weight, I honestly think Atletico can find the back of the net at some point. Plus, you get a really solid price on it.

Juventus vs. Dinamo – December 7th at 8:45 PM.
Juventus absolutely needs this win if they want to lock down that top spot. They’re facing the only team in all of Europe that hasn't managed to find the back of the net once this season, and let me tell you, that same squad already dismantled their previous opponent 4-0. There isn't much to debate here—it's pretty straightforward.

Both Inter and Istra sit at 18 points, mirroring Slaven, while Lokomotiva trails by just a single point. These four teams are most likely going to occupy the slots between 5th and 8th place, especially since Cibalia is already lagging nine points behind Lokomotiva, and Osijek has pulled away from this group by a substantial 15 points. Consequently, this match is vital for the sides vying for that fifth spot, and given that they are direct competitors, it stands to reason that we should expect a gritty, tightly contested affair.
Neither side possesses much offensive firepower; they struggle significantly to find the back of the net, making this a statistically perfect matchup for those looking at low scoring.
Inter is a notoriously tough nut to crack, particularly on their home turf where they boast a goal difference of 8:7 across eight matches. If you factor in their two cup fixtures, they’ve seen under 2.5 goals in nine out of ten games, and those opponents were far more offensively gifted than Istra.
In their 19 matches this season—not counting the cup game against the lower-tier Bijelo Brdo—they have only seen four overs, one of which was actually against Istra, though I can almost guarantee we won't see a repeat of that specific scenario here.
Inter has managed eight goals across eight away trips, and with 12 unders in their 19 outings this season, this match really ought to stay under.

How exactly do you claim to be able to guarantee that? Based on what? Do you have some inside information straight from the players?
I am asking without any sarcasm whatsoever. 🙂

I'm asking seriously here, 🙂

Genesis 1:1

I remember this one guy on a political forum who was absolutely certain—totally adamant—that Hillary would win the presidency. He was bragging about how he dropped 30,000 bucks on her victory because, get this, he claimed the bookies couldn't possibly be wrong. He kept saying, "I guarantee it, this is a sure thing, there’s zero chance anything else happens besides this outcome. I guarantee it."

The point is? Stop "guaranteeing" things, seriously... unless you want to end up looking like a complete idiot.

Precisely my point. It is exactly like those posts where someone claims a result is a "guarantee" or a "100% lock."
It is quite easy to play the armchair expert after the fact, but I was actually working the system, betting 3+ based purely on gut feeling and the recent head-to-head statements from certain players who frequent this forum... Even that guy ksapijev was actually making a valid point. As luck would have it, the goals did show up for me..

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY

Real Madrid vs Barcelona 20:45
HANDICAP (0:2) tip 1 (2-0)
@ 2,00 SS

The short version: this is a lock 🤣

It’s the final matchday of the group stage. Los Angeles FC is heading out to face Juventus. To be totally honest, I haven't even bothered looking at the stats, potential lineups for Juventus, or how these teams have been playing lately. Under their new manager, LAFC has basically been sitting at a big fat zero. Most of those points they managed to scrape together in the league were thanks to some generous officiating. I’m convinced one of the refs was probably on the payroll of whoever runs LAFC. They barely escaped with a draw against Olympique Lyonnais. Their offense has been pretty pathetic lately—honestly, even someone from Sudan would have better command of the English language than these guys have of putting a ball in the net.

To get a bit more serious: Juventus absolutely needs a win to secure first place, and following that kind of logic, a victory for them looks pretty likely. If Mario Mandžukić and Gonzalo Higuaín get the nod, I guarantee they’ll give it everything they've got to find the back of the net, especially Gonzalo, who hasn't exactly looked like a $65 million player lately. I’m leaning toward a Juventus win by three goals, mainly because that 2.00 odds value is just too good to pass up. Generally speaking, when it comes to goal totals, I don't think it's worth betting if the odds are lower than 1.75 - 1.80 (assuming there’s actually some statistical backing for it).

So, here we go again for another week. Let's hope LAFC can actually find the back of the net for once! 🤣
