Kansas City Chiefs - Los Angeles Rams 2@2.20 (0:3)

Kansas City is absolutely screwed today. They're missing five players who got tossed to the minor league squad for disciplinary issues—we're talking Vleminckx, Eksioglu, Guven, Hammar, and Kaloglu. On top of that, nobody even knows if Mangan and Azofeif are going to suit up.
They already struggle to find the back of the net, so this is just going to make their lives a living hell.
Right now, Kansas City is sitting dead last in 17th place with only 6 points after 9 games. Looking at their recent form, they’ve managed one win, one draw, and three losses in their last five. Meanwhile, Los Angeles Rams are sitting pretty in 3rd place with 18 points after 9 matches. They've been on fire, winning four out of their last five, including a gritty 3-2 win over Trabzonspor in their last outing. The stats don't lie: the Rams have blasted 19 goals while Kansas City has scraped together a measly 6... Plus, the Rams have been absolute beasts on the road, winning three of their last four away games.
Honestly, I think the visitors should walk away with the win without breaking much of a sweat.

Take a look at the Cypriot league; today the bottom-dwellers (14th) are facing off against 12th place AlkiLarn-Ethnikos Achn. The odds for a home win are sitting at 9.00, while the visitors are favored at 1.25. It wouldn't be surprising if the away side were currently sitting at the top of the table, but they've managed only 4 points from 7 matches, and they've actually lost their last three games in a row. Granted, the home team has been losing everything lately too, but given the odds of 9 (1) or 3.25 for a double chance (1X), it might be worth throwing a small amount of money on
a little gamble.

Here’s my take for tomorrow's HNL action 😁

Miami vs. Rijeka (total goals -3+) under @ 1.80 (SS) (1:0)

What can I even say? If I had to sum up Miami in just two words, it would be: Stanko Mršić. He’s a coach who really mastered his craft by building ironclad defensive bunkers for clubs sitting in the middle or bottom of the American league standings, and now he’s successfully applying that same grit to RNK Split. They enter every season with high ambitions, only for the front office to bring in a big-name manager. They also lost Rebić during the transfer window, who was honestly their only true spark in the attack. Now, they’re left with some decent domestic strikers and Belle, who hasn't been playing particularly well lately, though he still has those moments where he pulls something out of a hat.
The stats tell a pretty clear story here—they've only seen 28 total goals across their 14 matches so far, which is convincingly the lowest number of any club in the league.
But what tells you even more is their tactical setup. It is an extremely defensive mindset, characterized by frequent long balls toward Bilić and Roce or diagonal passes to Belle. This is especially obvious in their matches against the current top 4 teams. The only exception was that first game against Hajduk; not because of their approach, but because it was the only one to go over 2.5 goals. Everything else has been low scoring: 0:0 (against Hajduk, who are second), 1:0 (both home and away against Dinamo), and 1:1 (against Lokomotiva and Rijeka).
On the defensive side, Križanac is the main man. Even playing through half-injuries and feeling a bit off, his performance almost every match makes him a god of defense compared to most others. Because of injuries, Vrgoč is missing from the backline, but I don't think it'll be felt too heavily. It's also important to note that Vojnović is out due to injury; he's likely their most effective player, though since Bilić arrived, he's been playing more centrally, which is partly due to his physical condition. And thanks to a virus, Belle's availability is questionable.

Rijeka, on the other hand, isn't exactly a team that plays "under" their opponent's goal count. They are currently the highest-scoring team in the league (26 goals) and boast the best goal difference (+16).
However, they are facing two major hurdles right now. First, there are the absences. While some players like Jugović and Škarabot are slowly returning, the reality remains that most of those coming back have been sidelined for weeks or even months, making it tough to find their old rhythm immediately. But the biggest loss is Tomečak, who has been out for several games. Boras and Mujanović have been trying to cover for him, but they haven't been nearly as effective offensively. To me, Tomečak’s crosses, especially those targeted at Benko, were the primary offensive threat for this squad; without him, they are definitely lacking that edge.
The second, and perhaps larger, issue is how they perform against the rest of the top 5 in the HNL. Currently, their record in those matchups is 0-5-1, and not a single one of those games saw more than two goals scored. They handle the lower-tier teams routinely, but they aren't (at least not yet) a side that can dominate possession and dictate play against the heavy hitters—even those only slightly stronger than them.

Their last outing against Miami ended in a 1:1 draw at Kantrida. There could have been more goals in that one, but a match played at Youth Park is a completely different story.

sub 16:00 Manchester City (-3+) - Norwich City X2 @ 1,55 (2 @ 2,40) (over 3+ @ 2,50; over 6+ @ 7) (7:0)

It’s a classic clash—the title contenders going head-to-head against a side just fighting for survival and trying to stay in the league. On paper, it looks like a comfortable win for the home side, but...
City scores a ton, sure, but they also tend to leak goals. Norwich? They concede plenty, but they aren't exactly scoring much lately—though, interestingly enough, they’ve managed to find the net in their last four meetings against City.
Plus, looking back at their matchups over the last three seasons, things have been wild—we're talking results like 2:3, 3:2, 5:1, and even 6:1. It’s also worth noting how Norwich actually pulled off a win over in Manchester last season.

15:00 FC Copenhagen - Nordsjælland 1 @ 1,70 (4:0)

Last season, this was the ultimate derby; this year, it’s more of a scrap between two clubs sitting in the lower half of the table. FCK had a pretty rough start to the season, but they’re finally finding their footing—I think they're actually gearing up to get back into that title race (not sure if any of our local sportsbooks even offer odds on the Danish league 🤔). The visitors are also on an upward trend, but I suspect the home side's quality will ultimately decide this one. Their head-to-head record isn't helping the visitors either (it's 4:1:1 in their last six encounters; and when they play in Copenhagen, FCK has won all six of their last six matches).
Since the home team often takes a little while to find their rhythm early on, and considering the fact that two of their last four meetings saw a turnaround at the break, I might take a swing at half-time/full-time 2/1 @ 30 (X/1)(GS)

HSV - Borussia M. Vise od 2,5 @ 1.6 (0:2)

We’ve got two absolute scoring machines stepping onto the pitch today. Looking at the numbers, the home side is averaging about 4.5 goals per game, while the visitors are sitting right around 3.8. Seriously, both teams have only hit the "under" twice in their last ten outings. When you've got two sides that play this kind of high-octane, attractive football, how could it be anything else? I'm expecting a total shootout here.

Hoffenheim - Bayern gsp bayern DA 1.70 (1:2)

Bayern continues to maintain an exceptional level of form.
Hoffenheim sits comfortably in 8th place, so maybe they might try playing more openly today.
Bayern will certainly attempt to impose themselves, just as they do in every match they play.
I expect at least one goal in each half, given how easily they create scoring opportunities.

16,30 Cobresal - O'Higgins 2 2,40 SS (0:4)

I honestly think this is a solid line to take if you're looking at an away win. It was actually sitting a bit higher yesterday—around 2.60—so the value is definitely there. In my book, the visitors are just the better side here and I can see them walking away with the win. Now, don't get me wrong, Cobresal hasn't lost a single one of their last five home games, but let's be real: the only team worth mentioning they faced was that unpredictable Colo-Colo squad. Everything else was just run-of-the-mill league filler. O'Higgins plays some really sharp football. They dropped a tough one at home against Colo recently, so they’re probably itching to get back into the win column today. Plus, they haven't tasted defeat in their last six away matches. They even managed to snatch a point from Universidad and pulled off a win against Catolica, which definitely wasn't a fluke. Honestly, regardless of how the scoreline shakes out today, at these odds, it feels like a smart play to me.

Saturday, Nov 2, 7:00 PM

Wolfsberger - SV Grödig Over 2.5 goals at 1.70 (1:1)

The first matchup this season ended in a 4:3 win for Grödig.
Wolfsberger has managed to both score and concede in each of their last six matches, while Grödig seems to be part of the most high-scoring games out there.
They both tend to play wide-open football—you often see scores like 4:3 or 3:3—so I guess it's worth a shot.

Saturday, Nov 2, 8:30 PM

Legia Warsaw - Zaglebie Lubin 1 at 1.35 (2:0)

Legia sits in 1st place while Zaglebie is down in 13th.
Legia hasn't secured a win in their last three outings, and the top of the table is getting crowded, with four clubs separated by only two points.
A win is basically mandatory today.
Zaglebie has lost their last two, and I'm hoping that trend continues.

Is there some specific reason why the odds for Roma are sitting above 2? 🤷

We have already discussed Roma ahead of their match against Chievo. I suspect that even the bookmakers have adopted the view that, according to the law of large numbers, it is highly probable that Roma will suffer a loss in one of their upcoming fixtures. Chievo managed to scrape by with a meager 1-0 victory, though it should be noted that this was a contest between the league leaders and the team sitting firmly at the bottom of the table, played right on Roma's home turf. This streak is lasting far too long, and I suppose, following the Chievo result, I wouldn't feel comfortable betting on any more Roma wins for the time being.

Honestly, I think even the bookies are betting on the law of large numbers here—they're basically expecting Roma to drop one of their next games sooner or later. Chievo barely scraped by with a measly 1-0 win, and mind you, that was a matchup between the top of the table and the absolute bottom, played right at Roma's home turf. This streak is dragging on way too long for my liking. After watching that Chievo game, I'm officially done betting on Roma wins.

Roma spent 90 minutes getting hammered after Chievo scored.

Hey, does anyone have an update on Totti and Gervinho—or whatever those names are again? Is either one of them actually heading back to the lineup today?

Honestly, I’m not expecting anything today—and I mean nothing. Credit to the guys for this run we've been on, but even a streak has to end eventually. It looked like Gervinho was a lock to return, but Garcia decided to give him another week off instead. The real issue is that this is our third match in seven days; the fatigue is obvious, especially after that absolute thriller in Udine playing a man down. Totti is missed more than ever when it comes to building play and attacking, though Pjanić has been doing a solid job covering that lately.

Lineup for today: De Sanctis - Maicon, Benatia, Burdisso, Balzaretti - De Rossi, Strootman, Pjanić - Florenzi, Borriello, Ljajić. On paper, it looks decent—Castan is out due to cards, so it'll be interesting to see how Burda fits into this "perfect" setup. The defense should be solid, but the attack is stalling. My picks are:

Torino vs Roma pick 2 (1.60 - fan bet) (1:1(0:1))
Torino vs Roma total goals under 3 - 1.90 (1:1)

Good luck everyone, and forza Roma.

Honestly, I don't know. Turin feels like their own backyard—they play tough as hell there. My gut says we might see under 2 goals, or maybe Roma just walks away with another gritty 0-1 win...

Personally, I’m feeling the halftime/fulltime draw/away win at 4.50 odds... it's tempting. 😁But hey, we've still got time before kickoff. We'll see how things shake out later.

Lille vs Monaco both teams to score (1.85 at SS) (2:0)

We’ve got a massive showdown here between the second and third-place teams in the league. Lille hasn't even conceded a goal in six matches, not since that home loss against Nice back in mid-September. On the flip side, Monaco has found the net in their last six straight, and honestly, considering they're title contenders, I don't see them staying quiet today—especially with Lille playing so well. There's only a two-point gap between them, so nobody's playing for a draw here; a win for Lille puts them ahead, while a Monaco victory pulls them right up to PSG at the top.

Since we're looking at two heavyweights both riding high on momentum, I’m going to trust my gut a bit more and go for a 1-1 exact score(2:0)

Rudar vs Zeljeznicar 1 1,30 (3:1)

It’s pretty obvious the home side has way more quality than the visitors here—they're definitely the tougher test.
They've been looking much sharper lately, picking up some solid results, so with the home-field advantage and the crowd behind them, I'm expecting a win today... even if it’s just a narrow one. Honestly, Rudar has looked pretty pathetic this season compared to how they used to play.
Anything other than a home win would be a massive shocker.

Go Ahead Eagles vs Heracles 3+ 1,48 Suspended

The Eagles have been clinical lately. They only had that one boring 0-0 draw at home against Leeuwarden; every other match has been high-scoring affairs.
On the flip side, Heracles is that kind of team that actually performs better on the road—they seem way more comfortable away from home than they do in their own stadium.

Heracles has conceded in basically every away game, and there was only that one single match where they failed to find the back of the net (yeah, that infamous Cambuur vs Leeuwarden matchup again...🤣)
When you've got two teams where over 80% of their games are goal-fests, you've gotta expect another shootout. Expect goals.

Sunday, Nov 3, 6 PM

Rosenborg vs Viking Stavanger 1 1.55 (2:1)

It's the penultimate round of the season. Second-place Rosenborg is currently sitting on a three-point lead over Stromsgodset, so they really need this win. If they pull it off, they still have a slim chance at the title, provided the leaders slip up.
Viking is sitting in 6th. They aren't in contention for Europe, so this match doesn't mean much for them.
Rosenborg should theoretically take this one.

Sunday, Nov 3, 6 PM

Besiktas vs Karabukspor 1 1.50 (0:0)

After a strong start and a decent winning streak, Besiktas has hit a wall.
They've managed just one win in their last five matches, with two draws and two losses mixed in.
They're in 4th place and hosting 13th-place Karabukspor, who has struggled significantly with only one point on the road.
It won't be a walk in the park, as games in Turkey can get pretty hostile, but it might be time for Bilić to finally snap this slump.
The odds seem decent enough.
