Here is a little parlay I’m putting together for tonight with a small stake:
Evans over 17.5 (I guess if Sacramento really wants this win, he'll have to clear that bar),
Boozer over 17.5, and
maybe Peković under 15.5 (I actually decided to play this under earlier today, so once I commit to it as a single bet, things usually tend to go the other way!) 😉

In Milwaukee, it feels like they can't miss—baskets are just falling through the hoop like clockwork lately.

Man, watching how Phil plays defense (or just watching Detroit try to score against him)... it's honestly quite a show!!

The handicap really killed it. A weak three-pointer, maybe something like 3/18, just wasn't enough. Blah.

Tyreke Evans looks completely checked out... honestly, it’s like he just finished a long shift at a warehouse and dragged himself to the arena just to sit there.

The 76ers were an absolute breeze, easy money. I actually played Dirk at 23.5 on my Hat Trick app, but man, he totally screwed me over by missing the over by just 4 points. What a joke.

The line feels way too high given how these two squads actually play. Washington is struggling hard to find any rhythm on the road, averaging a measly 90.1 points per game. Milwaukee isn't exactly an offensive powerhouse either; they’re sitting at about 97.8 at home.
When Milwaukee actually wins, they tend to put up around 101.7 while giving up 92.5. Looking back at their head-to-head matchups, they haven't even cracked 190 points in their last six meetings, let alone hitting 200. Usually, one side just falls flat, and more often than not, that's Washington. Last year in December, when they played in Milwaukee, the line was set at 186.5, so this jump seems pretty sketchy to me. Still, there's definitely value in the under here. Realistically, the total shouldn't be higher than 195. 🤷

...man, I got absolutely wrecked...🤦

🤦 total disaster, honestly, it felt like we walked straight into a trap because the defense wasn't even playing with the same energy they had in our previous games 🙂 🙂

bome, we got ourselves a real show tonight. I guess we'll be waiting a long time before either of these two teams puts on an offensive clinic like that again.

Philadelphia vs. Oklahoma City, odds 1.65
7/10
Kevin Durant under 27.5, odds 1.85
5/10

One day you're rooting for Phila, the next day you're betting against them—that’s just life when you're into gambling, I guess. A lot of people think Phila is the surprise package this season, but there’s a bit of a catch: they haven't really looked sharp against teams with winning records. OKC is sitting at the top of the league right now, so this is a massive opportunity for them to prove something, though I have my doubts about Phila pulling it off. I don't doubt Iggy for a second that he'll do a solid job on Durant, since he's easily one of the best defenders in the league, but the real question is how much you can actually shut down a player like that. Still, if he isn't facing Iggy, the under is basically out of the question. Maybe KD is still riding that All-Star and MVP high, or maybe he's just feeling a little gassed because he's been playing more minutes than anyone else lately. Even if Iggy manages to stifle KD, you still have to worry about Westbrook. Despite how much the ball has been hogged lately, his play has actually been getting better; his shooting percentage is up, and he's proving he's arguably the second-best force in the West behind KD. Plus, with Harden coming off the bench, he's definitely the frontrunner for Sixth Man of the Year. Down in the paint, Ibaka and Perkins are two absolute monsters who I assume will just suffocate brand. Phila has struggled big time this season against Western Conference teams, especially the ones fighting for a playoff spot, so I suspect that trend might just continue against the hottest team in the West.

Denver Nuggets vs. Portland TrailBlazers, odds 1.82
4/10

Portland has been pretty rough on the road this season. After a great start, they've hit a bunch of bumps, and they've got a massive uphill battle ahead of them over the next two months to make the playoffs, but that's not why I'm passing on this bet. How can you take this matchup when Gallinari is out, and we're looking at question marks for Lawson, Rudy, and Nen? If any of those three actually suit up, they probably won't be at 100%, and even though Denver is known for having a deep bench, I just don't have much faith in Brewer, Andersen, Koufos, and the rest of the crew. As for the Blazers, Matthews is a question mark too, but whatever, I'll leave it be.😁

Monta Ellis (-23.5+)—Atlanta vs. Golden State Under 6'1"? Yeah, okay. Good luck with that.
I don't even know where to start with this one. Honestly? It’s just a mess. You look at the stats and you see one thing, then you watch the actual game and realize everything we thought we knew was wrong. Is anyone else actually seeing this, or am I just losing my mind? It feels like we're circling the drain here. Just a total disaster from start to finish. Typical.

Pau Gasol (-16.5+) - Lakers - Minnesota Timberwolves Betting on over 1.75? Honestly, why not. Might be a long shot, but hey, that's gambling.
Jennings B. is absolutely cooked. Down 18.5 points? That's a brutal spread. Milwaukee vs. Boston is going to be a total grind. Short enough? Under 6'1"?
Jamison A (-16.5+) NY-CLE Over 1.85? Yeah, I'm taking that.
I don't even know where to start with this one. Just... wow. Is anyone else seeing this? Honestly, I'm just sitting here staring at the screen like, are we really doing this right now? It’s wild. Truly wild.

Kobe Bryant (-28.5) LAL Min Short kings unite. Under 6'1"? Yeah, we're here.
Tim Duncan (-13.5) vs. Chicago Bulls Better than 1.85? Yeah, I'll take those odds.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. Is anyone else seeing this? Seriously, what are we even doing here? It feels like we’re just spinning our wheels at this point. Does anyone actually have a clue how this plays out? I doubt it. Just seems like more of the same, honestly. Typical. Over 1.75? Please.
I can't even begin to deal with this right now. Seriously.

☕

If Kobe Bryant sits this one out tonight, I’m looking at that 16.5 line for Pau Gasol. Honestly? He should clear that by halftime if he plays even half as well as he did a month ago when he dropped 28 on their floor. His game has been on another level lately. This line feels low, too—like we're betting on an EuroLeague player or something. Why is it so low?
Look, if Kobe Bryant sits this one out, taking that -7.5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves doesn't seem like a bad move. I mean, Kevin Love is looking pretty banged up too, but their bench absolutely tore it up last night, so that’s another reason why I’m leaning toward covering that spread.

ruggedgull32 said:...if Kobe Bryant doesn't suit up tonight, that 16.5 line feels like a steal because Pau Gasol should be able to clear it by at least 3 or 4 points, if not by halftime; I mean, he dropped 28 on them just a month ago... he's been playing on another level lately, and honestly, this line feels more like something you'd see in a high-stakes EuroLeague game...
I'm thinking if Kobe Bryant sits out, taking the -7.5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves isn't a bad move either, though Kevin Love seems a bit fragile lately, but their bench played so incredibly well last night that it gives me enough confidence to take that spread...

Knowing how Kobe Bryant operates, he'll definitely be out there, but I have a feeling he might play a little bit "on cruise control," which means he'll probably focus more on distributing the rock to Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum. 🤷

I’m thinking both PGs could go over in today's San Antonio Spurs-Chicago Bulls matchup:

Tony Parker, who won the NBA All-Star Skills Challenge last weekend, put up a team-high 21 points in that game and has been averaging 22.3 points on 59.2 percent shooting over his last three matchups with the Bulls.
The Spurs Playmaker has also averaged 23.0 points while shooting 63.8 percent in his last three home games against Chicago.

That performance helped the San Antonio Spurs win 10 of its last 12 home matchups in this series. One loss stands out recently, though, when the Bulls pulled off a 98-93 win on Jan. 25, 2010, driven by Rose's 27 points.
The reigning Most Valuable Player is currently averaging 34.0 points and shooting 59.0 percent through his last three games against the Spurs.

Carlos Boozer might go under; he always seems to struggle whenever he's facing elite teams.🙂

Man, there are so many games on today and honestly, the player props are looking pretty juicy if you know where to look, especially since I feel like guys like Jeremy Lin and Kevin Durant are totally getting overlooked right now🤷

Kevin Durant over 27.5 at 1.85
Jeremy Lin over 16.5 at 1.85
Kobe Bryant under 28.5 at 1.85
Dirk Nowitzki over 23.5 at 1.85
Russell Westbrook over 23.5 at 1.85
Tony Parker over 19.5 at 1.85
Rose over 23.5 at 1.85
Richard Jefferson over 18.5 at 1.85 SS

7/8 system bet☕

Al Jamison over 16.5 at 1.85
Tim Duncan over 13.5 at 1.85
Pau Gasol over 16.5 at 1.85
Kevin Love over 21.5 at 1.85
Gay over 19.5 at 1.85
Jennings under 18.5 at 1.85 HL

Just a tiny little stake here🤷,good luck to everyone today

The Detroit Pistons are looking pretty solid lately, especially when they're playing at home—if you can look past that absolute disaster of a game against the Philadelphia 76ers the other night—where they've been sitting at 8-11. Their matchup today is against the Charlotte Hornets, who are honestly struggling to find their footing and are currently sitting at the bottom of the league. They’ve managed to scrape together just two wins out of 18 games on the road so far. It feels like they have players who struggle to find that elite rhythm, though Henderson might shake things up since he's finally back in the rotation after missing nine games due to injury, likely coming off the bench for Rip Williams. That said, Detroit has much more depth with guys like Monroe, Charlie Stuckey, Louie Williams, and Prince... they really are a squad full of reliable individual talents. I see one massive edge for Detroit here, which is their ability to rack up easy points right under the rim. Defensively, Charlotte is a sieve when it comes to how many shots they allow (30,5 shots at 61.6% accuracy). Detroit is also killing it on the offensive glass and finishing strong with layups and dunks. On average, they're putting up about 27,7 field goal attempts per game (which ranks #3 in the league, shooting 57,6%). That dominance on the boards should give Detroit plenty of second-chance opportunities, similar to what we saw in their last two outings. When you've got a starter playing at that level, VIDEO🤣 it's no mystery why the numbers look the way they do. Honestly, Charlotte doesn't seem to have any real advantage over Detroit in any meaningful category; the only reason the odds look this way is probably because Detroit is dealing with a back-to-back schedule. ☕

Detroit - Charlotte
tip: Detroit -5,5 @ 1,952 Pinnacle

Aside from Detroit (if you’re asking me, I’ll take a clean bucket any day), I'd probably go Al Jamison over 17.5... assuming they still don't have Vladimir Veras in the lineup for the Cavaliers, which basically means everyone is leaning on Jamison as their only real big man worth a damn. His minutes should be pretty steady—probably looking at around 35—and he was absolutely cooking before the All-Star break, dropping about 20 a night in his last five or six outings. He’s taking 15-20 shots, so I’m expecting maybe 5-6 attempts from deep, hopefully knocking down 2 or 3 of those, plus whatever easy layups Kyrie Irving sets up for him. If he just finds his rhythm, he clears this line easily... plus, he's likely had a nice little breather during this 4-5 day break (which matters more for him since, you know, he's 35), and Stoudemire is keeping him in rotation, though we all know Stoudemire isn't exactly known for playing defense... so, by my math, this should hit.

edit: Man, I'm an idiot—the Cavaliers played the Celtics yesterday, and Jamison struggled hard against KG, going 3-of-15 and barely scraping 8 field goals. But honestly, it doesn't change much for me; I still think he could go over tonight, even if he didn't manage it last night. 😬
