Sacramento Kings vs. LA Clippers, odds sitting at around 1.60. I guess we'll see how that plays out.

Thinking about taking Blake Griffin over 22.5 points at 1.85. I mean, maybe? He’s been looking pretty explosive lately, so I guess there's definitely some value there if he gets going early. Just feels like a solid play to me, but who knows, anything can happen.

Really solid stuff—two of the bigger bets actually pulled through. Blake Griffin started off absolutely insane, though he kind of hit a wall later on, which is such a shame, but hey, still a massive plus. Plus, when you factor in what @Nicholas Chase34/">@@Nicholas Chase34 is saying about James, it’s looking pretty good. 😍
Man, the lines are looking absolutely killer today. I'm gonna head to bed now, then hit the ground running with some deep analysis first thing in the morning.

Man, so close for Aldridge, if he had just sunk one more basket 🙂
But hey, still a decent night overall 😁

Russell Westbrook over 23.5 @ 1.85
Blake Griffin under 22.5 @ 1.85
LaMarcus Aldridge over 21.5 @ 1.85
Greivis Vasquez over 17.5 @ 1.85
Batum over 14.5 @ 1.85 SS
Just a tiny little bet here.☕
I swear, I could peel all this off, get up in the morning, and see Aldridge sitting on 20 points with ten minutes left on the clock, but man, he clearly had other plans for my life.🤷,Man, screw Aldridge!🙂,It feels like I'm cursed or something, seriously! Instead of playing the usual ones I always hit—like when I put my money on Dwyane Wade or Kevin Durant—I went out on a limb with this one🤷,but hey, I guess you can't cry over spilled milk, right?☕

"...If you look at the playoffs too, Rose averaged 24.4 points in his last five games in Cleveland. On the other side, Boozer's been dropping at least 19 and putting up four straight double-doubles against his old squad..."

Phoenix Suns - LA Clippers

The Suns have been pretty rough lately, sitting at 15-20. Honestly, in a West this tough, their playoff hopes are looking slim. The one thing that’s actually working beautifully is that Nash-Gortat duo; despite getting older, Marcin Gortat keeps grinding out those double-doubles with about 13 points, and man, he dropped 17 assists yesterday. Their pick-and-roll game looks solid with Gortat, who put up 17 against the Timberwolves yesterday, but unfortunately, besides that, their defense is kind of a mess. Offensively, they don't really have many options unless they start hitting threes, which—let's be real—has been super rare lately. Plus, they're on a back-to-back, and I guess that's going to hit those veteran players a lot harder than the younger guys on the Clippers. Speaking of the Clippers, they cruised through that Sacramento matchup yesterday. Chris Paul is playing at an elite level, and I think he's going to shut things down defensively against Steve Nash tonight. Blake Griffin is just unstoppable right now, though he really needs to fix his free throw shooting ASAP. Then you've got Butler, who is a defensive beast; against a Suns perimeter defense that isn't exactly stellar, I think he'll do his job perfectly. David Foyer and Williams coming off the bench to provide spacing and assists gives them some real depth. That kind of roster versatility makes me think they might actually be title contenders in a few seasons.
There are plenty of matchups on the board, but nothing really caught my eye except for this one. I'll probably give it a shot like this.

Houston Rockets-Denver Nuggets 2 2.60
Denver might actually pull this one off, though I can't help but wonder about their injury situation—has everyone actually recovered yet?
They did manage to take down the Portland Trail Blazers in their last outing, so maybe they're finally finding their rhythm again.

The Suns have been pretty rough lately, sitting at 15-20. In a Western Conference this competitive, that kind of record makes a playoff run feel almost impossible. I suppose the one bright spot is that the Nash-Gortat duo is still clicking; despite his age, Gortat consistently puts up double-doubles with around 13 points, and he actually dropped 17 assists yesterday. Their pick-and-roll game looks solid when paired with Gortat—who scored 17 against the Minnesota Timberwolves yesterday—but unfortunately, their defense is lacking depth, and offensively, they seem stuck unless the three-pointers start falling, which hasn't happened much lately. Since this is a back-to-back, the older guys might struggle more than the younger Clippers squad. Speaking of which, the Clippers handled their matchup against Sacramento quite easily. Chris Paul is playing at an elite level, and I suspect he’ll be able to shut things down defensively against Steve Nash tonight. Blake Griffin is practically unstoppable, though he really needs to work on his free throws if he wants to be truly elite. Then you have Jimmy Butler, who is a defensive powerhouse; against a Suns perimeter rotation that isn't particularly stout, I imagine he'll handle his business perfectly. David Foyer and Deron Williams provide some great production off the bench in terms of both shooting and playmaking. That kind of depth gives me hope that they could eventually build toward a championship over the next few seasons.

I completely agree! 🙂
I usually prefer playing the handicap, so I'm looking at the spread, maybe SS h-1.5 @ 1.95

01:30 Atlanta Hawks vs Milwaukee Bucks
Joe Johnson over 17.5 points @ 1.85, Powerball
So, Joe Johnson is finally back in the lineup for the Atlanta Hawks after sitting out for a few days, and honestly, he looked a little rusty in his last outing against the Golden State Warriors—he dropped 18 points, but his FG was a bit shaky at 6-17. I really think tonight’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks is the perfect setup for him to find his rhythm and put up some serious numbers. If you look at how he’s handled Milwaukee this season, he already notched 28 points on a pretty efficient 10-22 FG. And man, remember last season when he was playing at home against them? He absolutely tore it up with 36 points on an incredible 13-19 FG. It just seems like the Milwaukee backcourt defense is pretty thin, especially out on the perimeter. Dealing with guys like Shaun Livingston and Carlos Delfino isn't easy for anyone, especially since they struggle quite a bit in spot-up situations, which basically accounts for about a quarter of the Atlanta Hawks' offensive sets. Plus, Joe Johnson tends to play much better in his own arena where he averages 19.5 points, and when he faces teams with a sub-.500 record, he bumps that up to a 20.4 average. At the end of the day, if Atlanta wants to walk away with a W, Joe Johnson is going to have to step up and carry his weight; in the games where Atlanta actually wins, he usually chips in about 20.3 points. When you crunch all those stats together, taking the over feels like a really solid bet to me. ☕

Tim Duncan over 13.5 @ 1.85
The Charlotte Bobcats are absolutely pathetic in the paint—honestly, the worst defense in the league right now. They’re letting power forwards drop 24.0 points a game! Given how much they're giving up, can Duncan easily clear at least 14?

Milwaukee Joe Johnson over 17.5 points @ 1.85, Powerball
Joe Johnson is finally back in the Hawks lineup after being out for a few days, and he actually put up 18 points in his last outing against the Golden State Warriors—though, uh, his FG wasn't exactly anything to write home about at 6-17. I guess today’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks is just the perfect setup for him to find his rhythm and really turn it up. Looking back at this season, when he faced Milwaukee, he dropped 28 points on a pretty decent 10-22 FG. And man, if you look at last season, he went absolutely nuts against them at home, putting up 36 points while shooting an efficient 13-19 FG. Honestly, Milwaukee just seems kind of thin defensively when it comes to guarding the backcourt, especially on the perimeter. Shaun Livingston and Carlos Delfino aren't exactly lockdown defenders, particularly in spot-up situations, which basically accounts for like a quarter of the Atlanta Hawks' offense. Plus, Joe Johnson always seems to play better in his own building, where he averages about 19.5 points, and he tends to hit around 20.4 points against teams with a sub-.500 record. Basically, if Atlanta wants to walk away with a win, Joe Johnson is going to have to step up and carry his weight. It looks like this update is still hanging around for him on my end.
I honestly have no clue why that's still showing up, because Joe looked totally fine getting his minutes in against the Golden State Warriors, and from what I've been seeing on other sports sites, everything is looking pretty solid. 🤷

I was actually watching him this morning and saw he's dealing with an injury again, though I didn't really dig into the details since I'm skipping today's game anyway.

Quick thoughts:
New Jersey +6.5 @ 1.85
The Celtics are going to be missing Shaquille O'Neal, which honestly changes the whole vibe since they're facing a Brook Lopez who is absolutely heating up right now. On top of that, Rajon Rondo seems pretty frustrated, so you have to wonder if he’ll actually bring his A-game tonight. Then there's Deron Williams, who had a rough outing last time, so he's definitely looking to reclaim his reputation in this one.
Chicago Bulls -8.5 @ 1.85
I mean, what can you even say about them? There's a good chance they show up with their full squad, but even if they don't, they still feel way too strong for the Cavaliers. The gap between the starters in these two teams is massive, and that's where the Bulls really pull ahead. Aside from Jamison and Kyrie Irving, the Cavaliers just don't have much offensive firepower, so if the Bulls can shut down just one of those two, it's going to be an easy win.
Tony Parker under 19.5 @ 1.85
It feels like the Spurs are going to absolutely steamroll the Charlotte Bobcats, so I’m expecting the Frenchman to see some reduced minutes. Charlotte tends to give up a ton of assists, so it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Parker racking up something like 12 assists, especially running those pick-and-rolls with Tim Duncan.
LeBron James over 28.5 @ 1.85
Gainville Arena is basically one of LeBron James' favorite spots to play; he’s been averaging a cool 33 points per game over eight games there. Plus, it looks like Chris Bosh is out again, leaving more room for him to work.
DeMar DeRozan under 17.5 @ 1.85
The Memphis Grizzlies have been locking down the backcourt this year, which is a huge shift from last season, mostly because they slotted Tony Allen into the starting lineup. DeMar DeRozan is such a wild card and can be incredibly inconsistent, so I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up shooting something like 5-of-16.
