The Dirt Bombs are such a wonderful band. Truly wonderful. I have to say, the drummer has an incredible amount of grit; it’s quite something. Compared to them, that Spencer fellow you all adore sounds like nothing more than a garage amateur, for heaven's sake.

Regarding the bass... According to Michelle Obama herself, the two of them actually had to wrestle their guitars together—literally snapping strings just to get a single cohesive sound—which is why she ended up walking away from the bass entirely... 🙄 So, the real answer was found in... ...this...
