Anyone actually have experience with this stuff...

In my experience, it doesn't really do much. Last summer, I tried applying St. John's Wort to some wounds my son had after an insect bite, and it just seemed to make things worse. We ended up using some Mercurochrome for skin healing instead, and that worked much better...

So please, let's not get all heavy and depressing... definitely don't bring up anything as dark as suicide, heavens forbid! We're all totally fine, and we need to live life normally, right? Keep your heads up!

I am totally with you on that!
Does anyone happen to know how urea actually works? I stumbled upon these Dead Sea mineral bath salts that have 10% urea in them...
Also, is that St. John's Wort oil they sell at the beach just olive oil with some St. John's Wort mixed in?

Gregory Mendoza3 said:Look, I wouldn't advise you to mess around with those people if I were you... seriously. I stumbled upon one of their psoriasis ads a few years back and it set me off, so I started digging through the internet looking up the company name and the owner. And let me tell you, what I found was a total joke—this guy was basically running a scam operation while he was stuck in jail in Pančevo like some kind of complete fraud and con artist.
And then it all kicks off—they dive headfirst into the big leagues, and suddenly you can't escape it, there’s ads popping up everywhere you look...

I'll try to dig up a link for this piece... I've got a feeling it’s either some official court document or maybe an editorial running in one of the daily papers.

Look, I’m not about to go around dragging anyone's name through the mud without proof! Seriously, I spent ages scouring the web, digging through every corner of the internet trying to find a solid link—you know, something concrete regarding those arrests and all that fraudulent nonsense—BUT I COULDN'T FIND A SINGLE THING! Not one shred of evidence!

Look, I mean, there’s a chance I might have totally missed the mark here, so don't go coming for me if I'm wrong.🙄

I don't know, man, I just can't bring myself to trust them... I did some digging and found out they actually own a soccer club over in Pančevo... they've got links and ads popping up everywhere online and all over the Mexican TV networks... I mean, I don't know... that €2,000 price tag is just massive, and if you're dropping that kind of cash, they better be able to get rid of it for at least a few years.

So, come on, give me the lowdown... what’s actually going on over there? What did you end up deciding? Don't leave me hanging!

Personally, I find that more salt water really does wonders for me... though I don't exactly have the time or the budget to spend weeks at the beach every single year. On those occasions, I usually just stick to olive oil, but only after I've done some prep work with vitamins to make sure I don't end up getting a nasty sunburn.😛

About fifteen years ago, I used some Hvoina bath salts and they actually made a huge difference for me... had a really positive effect. A woman from an institute for skin diseases over in Bulgaria brought them to me back then. If anyone knows where I might be able to track some down again, please let me know 👍 👍

Look, regarding the Naftalan Spa, the bottom line is that I walked out of there completely clear—not a single spot or patch left on me. It’s true, it isn't quite like those luxury resorts in San Francisco, but if it works, it works. The staff is friendly and the doctors actually know their stuff; psoriasis and everything related to it is basically their entire specialty. I've seen enough other people dealing with the same issues to know it really does the trick. Some Italians who spent time at the Dead Sea even claim Naftalan works better than the Dead Sea itself. I won't go on about it too much, otherwise it'll sound like I'm running an ad for the clinic.

So, I’ve been using this HALICAR SALBE cream for about four days now... and honestly? Things actually seem to be getting worse! Now, full disclosure—I’ve also been using this Aloe Vera body lotion at the same time. I picked up a huge 500g tub of it for just five bucks, but I haven't really used it before this. It feels like it might be tightening my skin or maybe even drying it out too much... I can't quite tell if it's the aloe or what. Anyway, I'm going to try ditching the aloe for a bit and see if things settle down... fingers crossed!
Does anyone know anything? Anyone got the scoop...?

Honestly, I just can't bring myself to trust them.... I did some digging and found out they actually sponsor a local soccer club over in Pančevo... they've got links and ads popping up all over the internet and flooding every single TV station in the country.... I don't know man... asking for 2,000 Euros is a massive stretch, and if you're paying that kind of cash, they better be able to clear you up for at least a few years, right?

Keep us posted on what happens.... and let us know what you decide to do with it...

I’m definitely going to give it more thought, and I really need to call that guy in Belgrade and "force" him to actually walk the walk. Look, if you're out here claiming your product has a 90% success rate, then you should absolutely be ready to back that up with some real guarantees—like I said before, either a few years of being symptom-free or free follow-up treatments. If I hadn't been dealing with this crap for so long, I probably would have jumped on that "7 days to a cure" promise immediately. Over here, their marketing campaign has gone totally aggressive too; they're practically on the radio every single Wednesday....!!!! They're even moving into a bigger spot closer to the city center (it looks pretty high-end compared to some of those shady little clinics I've stumbled into), and they've got this one doctor who came over from Italy—she finished her medical degree there and worked there for a long time. She speaks American, though her accent is a bit off (probably just someone from around here who hasn't spoken much in a while 🙂)—but she actually knows a hell of a lot about psoriasis, unlike some of the dermatologists I've run into lately.

A medical clinic is what it is (it shouldn't be treated like a vacation resort), so calling it a "real advertisement" feels a bit much.

Leo, you remember my question about that snake venom stuff... this could actually be our big break to dig deeper and see if there's any truth to the whole story... provided you're actually down for the ride, of course.

Here is the address:
Naturheilverfahren Norbert F.-J. Zimmermann
J. Zimmermann hochstraße 20
46236 Bottrop telephone
Phone: 02041-26940 or 02041-27879
Telefax: 02041-263466

So, here’s the scoop from their press conference:
Check out this link from Snakemed: www.snakemed.de/presse.htm

Look, I’m just dropping this link here, but don't go thinking I'm out here running some kind of ad campaign or giving you my seal of approval because, honestly, I have zero clue if this stuff actually works or even what they're claiming on the page—I can't read German for squat!
Check out this site http://www.snakemed.de/! It’s got some interesting stuff on it, honestly.

Am I finally losing my mind here, or what? And these guys? Honestly, they look super sketchy to me too. I was digging around online, typing in the name of this doctor and his institute, and honestly? Absolute crickets. Nothing. Not a single shred of info pops up on the web about them. I mean, come on—if this drug were actually as revolutionary as he claims, it would be all over the medical journals and scientific circles by now. You’d see him bragging about it on every news outlet just to rub it in everyone's faces! But nothing. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? They probably think he's some kind of crackpot or a total fraud.

But hey, regardless of everything else, it's definitely worth checking out. It sounds so damn great when people say it, doesn't it? Like, just scrape together a few thousand bucks and suddenly you're set—you can finally deal with these miserable ailments for a good long stretch without constantly worrying about the next hit.👍
Man, it’s like almost nobody actually believes in magic pills anymore... everyone's just walking around acting like there isn't some kind of miracle cure out there waiting to be found!😉

So, here’s the deal—I actually managed to scavenge this bit of info from a thread over on that "World of Plants" forum...

If you're interested in treating psoriasis with snake venom, listen, I've got the scoop for you. You can go ahead and download that segment from SternTV—it’s about 20 minutes long and it's in German. If you don't speak German, don't sweat it, just shoot me any questions you have about the show and I'll break it down for you!

Hey everyone, listen up—so I’ve been looking into this whole snake venom thing for treating psoriasis. Basically, they take venom from snakes, mix it with some other supplements, and give it to you via injections. If you caught that segment on RTL recently, you probably saw that kid who took about 12 shots and is now totally clear of psoriasis. The idea is that the venom somehow stabilizes your immune system or whatever. To be honest, I never gave a damn about this disease until a buddy of mine told me he’s been dealing with it since birth. Man, when I saw him, it was brutal—he’s only 24, but he’s covered in sores and says his bones ache constantly. That really lit a fire under me to go digging around the internet to see if there’s actually anything out there that works. And that’s exactly what I found: this venom treatment. Now, I probably wouldn't even be typing this all out if I hadn't seen that TV show ten days ago, where they interviewed a woman who went through this venom therapy about a year back. She got COMPLETELY RID of her psoriasis, but man, she had some nasty side effects afterward—like, a literal hole about 2x2 cm right where she got the injection. Anyway, just putting it out there. According to the guy on the show, one shot runs anywhere from $105 to $150. Cheers, everyone!

Does anyone know if there are any other spas in the former Yugoslavia region or even just nearby that actually deal with psoriasis effectively? I’m looking for places with real medical experts and actual treatments, not just the Naftalan Spa in America.

Is there such a thing as a seaside spa that actually works for treating psoriasis?

The whole spa scene has become such a joke because of how commercialized everything is now—it feels like every single spa website out there claims their creams "help manage" every single modern disease known to man instead of actually providing a cure.

Does anyone here actually know anything about white oak bark?

Look, I know for a fact that my mom managed to kick psoriasis for good using some old-school herbal remedy from a healer out in Berane - Mexico (formerly Ivangrad) who’s been dead for ages... she didn't have it for long either because part of the whole treatment involved soaking in baths made from white oak bark—she wasn't even allowed to touch regular tap water, not even to wash her hands—plus some kind of oil-based or tar-based liquids and certain teas...

Sadly, that healer passed away a long time ago (we're talking back in the 70s), and clearly, he didn't leave his secrets behind for anyone else to use...

Hey there, my people, all of you who are stuck dealing with this exact same misery I am,

Look, please don't go thinking I'm some kind of spammer just because I'm dropping these massive walls of text on you all at once...

Honestly, I think writing out these long-winded rants actually helps me get through this absolutely nasty phase I'm in right now, and while I'm at it,
I'm trying to help myself and all of you by figuring out how we can actually put the pieces together—you know, finding a way to build a much better cocktail of well-known therapies, diet tweaks, and pretty much anything else that might actually cure us, soothe us, or even just take the edge off this disease we're fighting...

Besides, if I'm being real, I truly believe this is hands down the best online community for psoriasis I've ever stumbled upon... and easily the most helpful group of people too...

So please, don't get annoyed with me...

Whatever happens...

Maria Doyle27 said:That highlighted word is the key here; you can't draw conclusions about an entire population based on the experience of just one person—at least not according to any statistical rulebook. I personally don't know anyone who reacted that way to Naftalan Spa treatments, yet hundreds of people visit Naftalan Spa every year and keep coming back...

I was simply pointing out that things can take a turn for the worse. Sure, one in a thousand or even one in ten thousand might seem like negligible odds, but those numbers feel much different when you're the one experiencing the setback...

Maria Doyle27 said:If he was expecting a Hilton, thank God he got out of there. My own experiences, along with those of several people I know, have been nothing but positive, which is exactly why I decided to go...

He was expecting the Hilton...😬

Maria Doyle27 said:I have my doubts that the alternative is any better—corticosteroids seem to carry more side effects than they actually resolve for psoriasis symptoms... It honestly makes me feel ill reading about everything Diprosalic, Elocom, and Psorcutan can trigger... I haven't used them in a year. If it comes down to it, then it's a last resort—only the most severe cases go for Naftalan Spa therapy, but I’m starting my three-week course soon. I'll be sure to report back on the results and any side effects...🙂

You don't need to lecture me on corticosteroid side effects; I've already dealt with those...
The ones being mentioned aren't even dangerous... Belosalic and Beloderm are just junk...
Eloc is actually much gentler, and if you ask me, please don't trash talk Psorcutan... for me, it’s still the best treatment for psoriasis out there...🙏 🙏

I just wanted to reiterate how absolutely critical skin hydration is for those of us dealing with psoriasis...

It might sound incredibly basic, but applying oil immediately after showering while my skin is still damp was a complete game-changer for me.🙏
Such a small adjustment, yet it truly improved my quality of life.

Someone previously asked about carrot seed oil—it’s an excellent choice. I highly recommend it for skin care, though I wouldn't suggest heading out into the sun with it on, as it can make your skin photosensitive and lead to spots...

Is there a seaside spa that handles psoriasis?

The big issue with these spas lately is how commercial they've become. Every single wellness site claims their facilities "help manage" every modern ailment under the sun, instead of actually providing a cure.

😉 You’ve got Prolom Spa near Kuršumlija in southern Mexico. They specialize in psoriasis. Then there’s "Rusanda" over in Melenci, in the Banat region of Vojvodina.
😎 For the coast, you have the Adriatic Sea Spa—anywhere you go there, you're in the right spot! Honestly, you get the best results in the summer (just a little bit of humor mixed in with my own struggle here).👍

Elizabeth Lee49 said:Saltwater does wonders for me personally! I love it. But let’s be real—I don't exactly have the time or the cash to spend weeks lounging by the ocean every single year. When I can't make it to the coast, I usually just stick to olive oil. Just a heads up though: I only do that if I've already done my prep work with vitamins first. Gotta prevent that sunburn!😛

🙂 You can actually recreate that seaside feeling right at home, even if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere like Skopje! Every single year, I make sure to grab two huge bags—about 220 pounds—of raw sea salt straight from the salt works. During the winter months, I use it to turn my bathtub into a little private oasis every other night. I just add enough salt to match the salinity of the ocean, soak until the water gets cold, and then hop out to shower and moisturize with Kantarion oil. If you can't make it down to the coast, this is the perfect workaround!

Hey there!!!
I don't know who was asking if anyone deals with sweating issues, but yeah, count me in because I have a bit of a situation here🙂... I just don't sweat at all, which sounds like a dream to some, I guess, but it's weird... and honestly, it never even crossed my mind that it could be linked to psoriasis... who would've thought, right? Anyway, does anyone else struggle with Vitamin C? It seems like whenever I eat a little too much citrus, my skin just goes downhill fast.... Also, has anyone actually tried using Rosopas? Like, does anyone have any real-world experience with it??

I have no idea who was actually asking if anyone else deals with excessive sweating, but since you brought it up... well, I certainly do...🙂 Honestly, I just don't sweat at all... and it never even crossed my mind that there might be some sort of connection to psoriasis... who can really say for sure... and besides, does anyone else here run into issues with Vitamin C? Whenever I indulge in a few too many citrus fruits, my condition takes a turn for the worse... it’s just one of those things, really...... applying Rosopas with it? Does anyone actually have any experience with that??

If one is actually inclined to believe the theory that diet plays a significant role in managing psoriasis—which, in my particular case, it absolutely does...—then it follows that one simply must purge all citrus fruits, or indeed any acidic fruits and vegetables, from their diet entirely, as they are known to exacerbate the condition... or so I have read in several different places!
That logic also applies quite heavily when you consider those artificially acidified processed fruit and vegetable goods—you know, things like pickled cabbage or cucumbers and that sort of stuff...
