Elizabeth Lee49 said:Honestly, I feel like I’ve been through this cycle once and I’m still stuck in it🙄 and it’s not even like it’s killing me—I’m handling it like a man (just gotta take it like a man😁). But I can't help but wonder: where on earth did this stupid disease find me in the first place?

This question is basically what drives our lives, but man, there are so many of us out there, so it didn't just pick one person, it picked millions. God knows how many of us are scattered all over the world.

The people who truly love you, they love you for who you actually are, not because of some superficial look!

I look at what my skin has turned into with absolute horror... and honestly, the hardest part is when my 11-month-old daughter touches the scales, like she’s trying to peel them off... but then there's my wife, she hasn't looked at me with even a hint of disgust once, she treats me exactly the same as when my skin was perfectly clear; she even scolds me sometimes because I get so depressed about the psoriasis, just like my 2.5-year-old son does, who is my whole world...👍

A lady I know—who actually managed to clear up her psoriasis—lives right here in Washington, D.C.:

Does anyone know how I might get in touch with her?😕

Alright, I'm checking in with you all. My main issue is my scalp—it’s just constant flaking everywhere. On top of that, I've got these patches on my beard, eyebrows, knee, and elbow. Everything else seems to be holding up okay, I guess, but I just cannot get my scalp under control, no matter what I try. I used some Belosalic lotion for a bit and it helped slightly, but now nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions for the scalp that won't leave me feeling incredibly greasy? I actually tried using olive oil once, and you can probably imagine how much of a disaster that was—even though I'm not exactly looking perfect as it is, I looked so oily in the mirror I thought someone had wandered into my house just to stare at me. Please, I need some advice!

Not really about fixing my looks, but... you know... the scalp...👍

Besides Belosalic, there's also Sinalar gel, maybe give that a shot.

Hi everyone, I've been dealing with psoriasis my entire life—23 years now. Like many others, I've tried just about everything out there, but of course, it’s always just a temporary fix. I haven't had the chance to read through all the posts from the beginning, so I was wondering if someone could suggest a meal plan? Specifically, what should I be eating and what should I cut out? It feels like I finally need to overhaul my diet since nothing else seems to be working.😕

👍 Hey everyone,
since I’m working today, I figured I’d pop back in... just to check in on you all and see how everyone is feeling today. I’m doing alright myself. Just wanted to say hi and wish you all a pleasant day... try to stay positive. If we keep thinking that way, things will eventually get better day by day...
We shouldn't let this stupid psoriasis dictate everything. Let's try to forget about it for a moment and just live our lives like it isn't even there. Anyway, I'll catch up with you guys on Monday. Take care of yourselves...
Love, Gabi (and no, it's not Novak, haha)👍

Seriously, go read pages 29 through 32 of this forum.

I'm asking you nicely.

With faith in God,

Best,

God help us.

But look, Michael Ramos3, what's the deal with the testing on your cream... and the folks here who actually used it... come on man, give us some kind of update...

Ever since you posted that we’d be seeing more results soon, we haven't heard a single peep...

Anyway, Michael Ramos3, what’s the deal with the testing for your cream? Any word from the folks here who actually tried it? Come on, man, give us a sign...

Ever since you posted saying we’d see more soon, it’s been total radio silence... nothing. Not even a whisper.

🙂 Over the last few pages, we haven't really seen any solid updates from you, or even from Elizabeth Lee49—just a bunch of pleasantries and weather reports.
Why are we all crowding Michael Ramos3? Honestly, it feels like we're pestering him. He said he'd check in once the ointment is officially registered, so let's just give him some space. Let's wait with some dignity. I'm also hoping someone else who used the stuff will chime in—ideally an old-timer on this forum, though I guess a newer member could weigh in too.
We were patient with you and all those back-and-forth posts of yours, so let's return the favor. Give Michael Ramos3 the breathing room he needs to write.

Can anyone put together a quick guide on what I should be eating versus what I need to cut out? It feels like if nothing else is working, it's finally time to overhaul my diet. Thanks!😕

🙂 Let me dig through my files on psoriasis for a second. I’ve got several different diet plans tucked away in here, including some one-day meal plans based on that method by Prof. Jovančić, the biology expert!
Look, I’ve read plenty about these kinds of psoriasis treatments, but honestly? Most dermatologists gave up on them ages ago because they barely move the needle when it comes to actual results. Still, I want to be helpful, so I'll reach out and send you a PM!

Right now I’m out in the Midwest, so don't go thinking I'm not keeping an eye out for any rattlesnakes!
I'll be back home in about 7 days, so then I can really get us up to speed on everything!
That HALICAR SALBE cream... honestly, it just doesn't do a thing for me! Not that it wouldn't work for someone else, of course...

Hi, I've been wondering about something lately—I was actually born with psoriasis. My mom noticed the skin irritation right there in the maternity ward. I recently spoke with someone who was surprised by that, since most people develop it later in life, so I’m just curious if any of you were born with this condition too? Just looking for some info.🙂

Why on earth are you guys pushing Michael Ramos3 so hard? Honestly, it feels like you're badgering him. He already said he’d let us know once the ointment is officially registered, so let's just wait with some actual dignity and let him come to us without being called out. I'm also hoping someone who’s actually used the stuff will chime in—ideally a veteran member of this forum, though I guess you can trust the younger crowd too if you have to.
Look, we put up with you and all your contradictory nonsense, so we can certainly give Michael Ramos3 some breathing room to write when he's ready.

Listen, Robert Clark2... I have absolutely zero intention of commenting on your writing style or mine... much less Elizabeth Lee49's...

The fact that you aren't digging the way Elizabeth Lee49, myself, and maybe a few others exchange not just facts, but actual human kindness and support, seems to be your own personal issue... which hey, you're totally entitled to feel that way... just like we're entitled to do it because, frankly, we need that support while we're fighting this (honestly terrifying) disease...

Anyway, you're more than free to just hit the ignore button on my posts if they bug you...

Even after this latest exchange, I still want to thank you for everything you've shared so far... because most of it was actually solid advice...

As for Michael Ramos3, this isn't some kind of provocation... it's just genuine interest. For what it's worth, I don't need some official registration number to believe in something, especially since hundreds of "officially approved" products have failed me in the past...

Take care,

I see this forum, and specifically the health sub-forum, as a little corner for people dealing with this nasty, relentless illness to swap stories. We can talk about causes, standard medical treatments, pharmacology, and even alternative medicine. It's a place to highlight where certain drugs really shine and where holistic approaches actually work—things we all know firsthand.
The friendly chatter between you, Gabi, and whoever else is just part of the community. In my view, that kind of personal connection happens through private messages or just using a few emojis in a high-quality post.
Regarding Gabi spending her time crafting these helpful posts without invading anyone's privacy: my advice would be to actually read the labels and instructions for any medication or supplement *before* using them. Know the name and the details first, rather than waiting for someone to ask. Since she's clearly an intellectual—or at least, since she's always asking for those patches at the pharmacy—it's better to be prepared. If people are constantly hunting for those patches, they probably don't work well, and she'll realize that eventually, much like that butavat cream you guys used that only shows up on the black market.
I won't be ignoring your posts, but I'd ask that we focus on quality content that keeps everyone interested. Let's make sure this forum stays as top-tier as it's always been. And a little heads-up for Ms. Gabi: this is a space for people facing a real struggle, not a place for petty drama. If she wants to contribute, let's see some thoughtful posts during the day, not just late-night venting.
Since everyone is so eager to chat, why hasn't anyone replied to silverjackal20's post about being born with psoriasis? (Sorry, silverjackal20, for bringing it up here).
Remember, you aren't the only ones here. Let's stick to the rules of the game.
Cheers!

The kind of personal back-and-forth you, Elizabeth Lee49, and a few others engage in... well, that could easily happen through private messages, or even just by using better formatting and a few emojis in your posts.
Since Elizabeth Lee49 spends her time crafting these posts without invading anyone's privacy, my advice would be simple: before jumping into any medication or supplement, actually read the label and learn what it is first. Don't wait until someone asks you about it. For someone as bright as she is—even if she does mention constantly hunting for patches at the pharmacy—it seems odd. If people are always asking for them, maybe they aren't all they're cracked up to be... she'll realize that eventually. Same goes for that Butavat ointment you used, which we only get through certain gray-market channels anyway.
I'm not going to ignore your posts, but I'd ask that you start contributing content that actually interests a wider audience. We need to keep this forum at the high standard it's always been. And a little warning for Elizabeth Lee49: this is a corner for those of us struggling with illness, not a place for people to act out. Maybe try posting in the afternoon instead of when you're feeling restless...
If everyone is so eager to communicate, why hasn't anyone replied to silverjackal20's post? You know, the one where she mentioned being born with psoriasis (my apologies, silverjackal20, for bringing it up here).
Just remember, you aren't the only one here. Let's stick to the rules.
Best,

Look, Robert Clark2, you don't get to decide how this forum runs. I've been through the hell of psoriasis just like everyone else here, and I know exactly how much aggression this disease can trigger in a person. Honestly, it feels like that might be exactly what's happening with you right now. You don't have any right to judge us for talking about life instead of just the disease... because talking about life is actually vital to getting better.
Twenty years ago, the best dermatologist I ever saw, Dr. Schultz in Washington, D.C.,
told me straight up: change your mindset and your outlook on life, and you won't have to deal with psoriasis anymore.
So, I have to wonder if that's actually your issue here. We're going to talk about therapies and the latest research, sure, but we shouldn't forget that we're just human beings made of flesh and blood. Your comments about me aren't necessary. When or how I post isn't your business; there's plenty of room and time for all of us. Just let us write what we feel needs to be said, and you can just read the parts you actually like. As for the patches, they worked for me, but that doesn't mean you have to use them. No one's forcing you. Please, just leave us alone so we can each find our own way to fight this. Aggression and negative energy aren't going to help... believe me.👎

Elizabeth Lee49, look, I actually tried that Sinalar stuff first—back before I even knew what I was dealing with—but it didn't do a thing. And now, honestly, things have become unbearable with my hair and scalp. I’m peeling off these flakes... though calling them flakes is an understatement; they’re thick scales, several millimeters deep, and once they come off, the burning is intense and this angry red inflammation spreads across my entire head. After that, I end up burning through a whole bottle of Belosalic in just a few days just to get some peace for about a week. Then, it all starts over again. I don't know what else is left for me to try.🙏
