what's the deal with this... what actually is "Hvoina" anyway?

Hvoina is an evergreen tree. They take its dried berries and grind them down to make a soak... and regarding those spas in the US, there's a spot near Bujanovac that really helped me out. It basically cleared me up completely over 17 years... but after the war broke out, things changed. Most of the people living there were of Albanian descent, so I haven't been back since. The spa itself is incredible, though. They have healing mud and mineral water... back then, I was clear for about fifteen days...

Regarding those Chinese patches... I checked the packaging at home yesterday, but there’s basically nothing listed on the label. Honestly, I have no idea what the exact ingredients are, though they have this strange scent when you open them—presumably because they actually contain medication. For me, they work wonders; my elbows are completely clear now. The only downside is that after three days of being taped up like a mummy, everyone keeps asking what on earth happened to you... It would be great if someone could arrange to import them from the big pharmaceutical companies over in America. They arrive here quite regularly. From what I hear, pharmacies are seeing a huge demand because people are genuinely happy with the results.

It happens to me quite often... even when I'm just standing there in the pharmacy, people will ask me to show them my elbows so they can see the results for themselves. I guess that's just how it goes... since people are constantly looking for it and raving about it. I'm thinking specifically about those patches...👍

hey there!!!
has anyone actually tried that ointment from Michael Ramos3?? if you have, please tell me everything, what happened, does it actually work??
right now I'm doing my own thing—taking fish oil, beta carotene, drinking some comfrey tea, and hitting the tanning salon once a week... I've also been slathering on some Vaseline, calendula, and St. John's Wort, basically whatever I can get my hands on a couple times a day, and honestly, after doing this daily for about three weeks, I'm seeing pretty awesome results. the last time I saw stuff clear up like this was using Belosalic, but only when I used it under an occlusive bandage every single night... I haven't even touched the Belosalic in 3 or 4 months now. so yeah, if anyone feels like being super dedicated and doing this routine every day, definitely give it a shot😉

It feels like everyone’s gone quiet lately... nobody's really posting updates on how things are going... just wanted to pop in and say hello...😍

"But I always feel like I'm not pretty enough for him, even though I look physically fine. This psoriasis has been killing me for years."
I feel like I've already been through that, and honestly, I'm still going through it myself.🙄 It’s not like it’s actually killing me—I take it like a man (grin)😁. Still, I can't help but wonder: where on earth did this stupid disease find me?

Just me here😬

I gave myself a good scrub today, and honestly, I feel much better after a shower and some oil application😍.

And Gabi, don't get so worked up about your husband. Truly quality people aren't shallow... you're a wonderful person whether those red spots are there or not... and I'm sure your man knows that too🙂.

darkbison18 said:Ever since I started using this HALICAR SALBE cream (about 4 days ago), things have actually gone downhill. To be fair, I've also been using an Aloe Vera body lotion at the same time, and I get the feeling it's tightening and drying out my skin. I picked up the Aloe for $5 for a 500g tub—never used it before. I'm going to try ditching the Aloe and see what happens.
Anyone have any insight?

I used HALICAR SALBE too and it made things worse... not sure why, since it worked fine for my friend. I guess our skin just isn't the same. Right now, I'm just sticking to lemon and some basic fish oil.
I'm heading to the beach soon, so hopefully, it clears up by then.

It strikes me as suspicious that they don't list the ingredients on the box.

I'm certainly not inclined to use anything without knowing exactly what's in it...

If I've got this right, you were totally clear for 17 years straight just because of that time spent at the Bujanovac Spa!

How bad was your skin actually looking right before you headed out? I mean, how much of an absolute mess were we talking about? And how long had you been dealing with this psoriasis nightmare before everything went down? Also, what kind of success rates are we seeing with other patients—is this stuff actually working for people or is it just wishful thinking?

Darling, thank you so much.
Your support really means a lot to me... ever since I stumbled upon this forum, I've been feeling so much better emotionally, just knowing I'm not going through this alone😁

Robert Clark2 said:😉 You’ve got Prolom Spa near Kuršumlija in southern America, which specializes in treating psoriasis, and then there's "Rusanda" Spa over in Melenci, out in the Banat region of Vojvodina.
😎 If you head toward the coast, you've got the Adriatic Sea Spa, so honestly, wherever you decide to go, you're hitting the right spots, especially since the best results usually happen during the summer—just my two cents while I'm dealing with this mess myself.👍

So tell me, have you actually dealt with Prolom Spa before, or do you know anything about their clearance rates or how long you're stuck in therapy there?

Same deal with Rusanda...

About two years back, when things weren't looking too crazy yet, I actually gave the folks at Prolom Spa a ring to see what the deal was and get the lowdown on their whole setup... but they just gave me these super vague, surface-level answers, basically saying it isn't a "cure" per se, just that staying there might help alongside other treatments... they wouldn't say a single word about actual success rates...

If I caught that correctly, you were clear for 17 years thanks to that spa in Bujanovac!

How bad was your skin right before you went? How long had you been dealing with psoriasis before that? And what kind of results were other patients seeing there?...

Before I headed to the spa—I was about 17 at the time, maybe a junior in high school... everyone teased me for going to a spa like some old lady—I had psoriasis on my elbows, legs, knees, and even my ankles. After leaving the spa and getting cleared up, I didn't have it for about three years. I was totally clear through the first two years of college. Then, when I hit 23, a massive flare-up hit and it was just awful. That was probably my lowest point. I was searching everywhere for a cure... ended up spiraling into depression for a bit. It really took its toll. Eventually, I found relief at a clinic using radiation therapy and phototherapy. Since then, it’s stayed on my elbows, knees, legs, and one little spot on my lower back. I manage it somehow, just enough so it doesn't look too bad. So, yeah. That’s the gist of it. But that spa in Bujanovac is really effective. Interestingly, while I was pregnant with my son—who's 8 now—it completely vanished. Around that time, I was also graduating from the School of Economics, getting married, feeling happy... everything was smooth. Now, it's moderately annoying, but I don't let it get to me anymore. I'm used to it. Anyway, I've vented enough...
As for those patches, they don't have a specific name (the label is in Chinese), but the packaging says they are psoriasis patches.😵 😵 🙂

I think I’ve already been through that phase, and honestly, I’m still going through it🙄 and it’s not exactly killing me—I handle it like a man (dying like a man, I guess😁). Still, I can't help but wonder: where on earth did this stupid disease find me?

That question is basically what drives our lives... but man, there are so many of us out there. It didn't just pick one person; it found millions of us. God knows how many people across the world are dealing with this exact same thing.

Dear Gabi,
it’s cooled down here in Belgrade too... and I am absolutely loving it because I’m one of those rare people who deals with psoriasis AND frequent sun allergies (!)
It sounds totally wild, but it's the truth....

Not a bad idea to head out to work myself since I'm running pretty late at this point....
