Maria Chavez55 said:Has anyone actually tried using Megamin?
I haven't used it myself, but people close to me have tried it without seeing any results.
It's essentially just a sugar pill, if you ask me; I suspect the main component is just carbon...😳

Chris Morgan67, can you use Psorcutan with occlusive bandages?
I know some creams work way faster when you wrap them up like that, so I was wondering if that applies to this ointment too.

It can.
But you should probably run it by your doctor first.
Generally, you won't see much progress with Psorcutan until you've been using it for about three weeks... though once that improvement kicks in, it tends to last anywhere from six months to several years...🙂

Hey everyone
I’m just sitting here holding onto the hope that Michael Ramos3 hasn't paid his internet bill for a few months, so maybe we can finally get some peace and quiet without being harassed for a while...

If I’m really the biggest problem you face in life, then you must be having a hell of a time.
I pray to the Lord that I'm the only thing ever causing you trouble and nothing else ruins your day.

It’s great to see things picking up here, and since we're talking, I have a quick request. Honestly, when I first got my diagnosis and stumbled upon this community filled with helpful advice, I actually felt a little better despite this exhausting illness. I’ve tried some tips, ignored others, and saved some for later based on what feels right for me. I truly hope this place remains a resource for learning about treatment options rather than becoming a platform for personal bickering.
So, I’m asking—and please try to look past the fact that I’m a new member and hear me out as someone dealing with a real medical issue—could we please skip the personal attacks? For those of us coming here hoping to find something to ease our struggle, the constant fighting is just draining, annoying, and helps absolutely nobody.

Here's the deal with Psorcutan right now: you don't technically need a prescription, though a few pharmacies have asked me for one. I just go to the one pharmacy I know won't give me any trouble. It costs $65 and you order it ahead of time. It'll show up at your place in just a couple of days.

Can't blame you there. I’m also noticing our dear moderator being pretty unprofessional and biased lately.
I think it would be smarter to ask everyone here to keep things a bit more civil and polite. Lately, people have been throwing out baseless accusations and using heavy, even vulgar language on the recent pages. This isn't just aimed at me; it's happening to other members too. All this trash talk ruins the reputation and the actual VALUE of this forum. It's going to kill this place, leaving these boards dead and empty while everyone moves their discussions elsewhere.
I noticed you making comments—not just to me, but to others—about seeing a psychiatrist and bringing up mental illness. You didn't handle that professionally, and your reaction to the "weird post" report wasn't professional either.
As for my own comments, they're always just a direct response to someone coming after me.
I'd like to hear what the rest of you think about this.
Regards

You're totally right, I'm definitely not being professional here
my little mistake
if I actually acted like a professional, I would've just wiped out your first posts and banned you already
so much for professionalism 😬
but anyway, let's get back to talking about psoriasis in a more casual, review-style way
without all that economic propaganda stuff
OK? Crystal clear?
thanks 😁

Oh, come on... we'll miss you, truly! 😁
But honestly, what kind of energy did you actually bring to this place?
Just trying to hawk your little kitchen concoction, right? 😁

I’d like to offer a few constructive thoughts for both long-term sufferers and those who are newly diagnosed with psoriasis.
Once this condition flares up, whether it's mild or severe, things can get difficult.
The hardest part might actually be the psychological toll these patches take on us.
However, I believe we need to find the strength to accept this as a permanent companion—a lifelong passenger that we might one day fully manage to heal (I truly believe that is possible).
Only after we accept our reality can we truly fight it; eventually, that struggle evolves into a coexistence, making life much easier to navigate.
I have embraced my condition, and it doesn't weigh on me too heavily anymore. I simply follow my skincare routine, using various oils, occasional Psorcutan, and phototherapy.
And I am content.
I’m writing this because I know how devastating this can feel for many, especially for young people in their early twenties like myself. Psoriasis should never prevent you from living a normal life; the key is consistent care and maintaining a positive mindset.
In truth, it’s all mental... if your head is in the right place, the marks become invisible to both you and the world.🙂

And what exactly did you contribute to the excitement?
Trying to hawk this kitchen gadget of mine. 😁
You know whether something is just a kitchen remedy or actual medicine.
Just explain the reasoning to me. Use your brain, for once.
#1676 ·
Michael Ramos3 said:You actually know if it’s just some kitchen remedy or not.
Just tell me how you can be so sure. Is it common sense or what? Or maybe you're just being smart?
Look, man,
it's based on those official lab results you posted earlier.
about... oops 🙂 .... wait, you don't even have those 😁
Let's wrap this up now, okay?
If you've got something fresh to say, go for it!
If you're just trying to hawk your own ointment, we've heard enough.
That would be the end of the debate.
Any posts that don't follow the rules will be deleted.

Maria Chavez55 said:Has anyone actually tried using Megamin before?
My friend’s mom used Megamin—kind of hit or miss, honestly.
From what I gathered through my buddy's stories, people claim Megamin helps support liver function, which supposedly regulates free radical production—and apparently, those radicals play a role in speeding up skin cell turnover, which is the whole headache behind psoriasis. At least, that's how it sounded when he was explaining it to me. Anyway, Megamin isn't exactly cheap, either. It's a bit of a splurge.
So, yeah, that's the deal with Megamin.
#1679 ·
Thnx rapidpanther41. By the way, you mentioned a partial effect—does that mean there actually was some kind of result specifically from taking Megamin?
Chris Morgan67, are you heading over to the Salad clinic for phototherapy?
The results I got from phototherapy were pretty solid, but I just can't swing the trips to the Salad clinic during work hours anymore.

Maria Chavez55 said:Chris Morgan67, are you planning on heading over to Salad for phototherapy?
In my experience, the results were quite decent, but I just can't seem to swing the logistics of getting to Salad during business hours anymore...
Well, I haven't done phototherapy in about two years, but I could certainly make it to Salad.
It's pretty inconvenient when you're working; it was a struggle for me back when I was still in high school.
I believe some private clinics might have those machines available, though I'm not entirely sure which ones...
