Just checking in exactly one year after my treatment in Mexico. Now that my psoriasis is gone, I’m feeling way better, and honestly, it hasn't even tried to come back, despite what some people thought would happen. Thnx

Maria Chavez55 said:Thanks, rapidpanther41. By the way—when you say "partial effect," are you implying there actually *was* some kind of result specifically tied to using Megamin?

Chris Morgan67, are you still hitting up the Salad clinic for phototherapy?
Personally, I found the phototherapy worked pretty well for me—really decent results—but honestly, I just can't swing the logistics of getting over to the Salad facility during business hours anymore. Life happens, right?

Yeah, regarding Megamin—in this specific instance, the results were basically the same as they were with other ointments (like Psorcutan), except the price tag was ten times higher. So, naturally, she stopped using Megamin. As for other cases, I wouldn't know.👍

Hey everyone, I haven't seen a dedicated thread for people dealing with psoriasis until now, so I figured I’d jump in and join the club. I was hit with this thing four years ago, all because of some massive stress blowout at work. At first, it was just arthritis and a tiny patch behind my ear. But about eighteen months ago, things really went south and the psoriasis moved into my nails. Within six months, my hands looked completely different. I used to have one lone nail that managed to escape the carnage, but even that succumbed to this damn disease about six months back. My old man has been dealing with psoriasis and arthritis since he was 91, so I had a front-row seat to what this illness does to you. He never had the nail issues, though, so I didn't even realize the nails could be part of the deal until it happened to me. Now, on top of the nail damage, I've got three patches behind my ear, one on my left forearm, and three spots on my legs. I've been using 20% Beloderm, but that just peels off the scales—the redness stays stuck like glue. As for the arthritis, I'm taking a hell of a lot of meds for that. So, here's the question: since we don't exactly have any world-class dermatologists here in my neck of the woods, and I don't have the time to trek over to a major city like Chicago for an appointment, is there anything better than Beloderm? I need something that kills both the scaling and the redness so it's at least less noticeable. It’s started breaking out on my forehead now, and honestly, I am sick to death of having to explain myself to people. Thanks a lot, and I’m praying for some optimistic advice here.

Maxidex cream really did wonders for my face; I haven't had a single breakout in three weeks. My elbows are looking way better since I started using Petroleum cream and oil, but honestly, that same treatment hasn't done a thing for my lower legs. It's still the exact same mess—red, scaly, and it itches like crazy.

It's the same old story down there—red, scaly, and itching like crazy...

I have a few questions about this Maxidex stuff. When I search for it on Google, it keeps telling me it’s an eye ointment, so I don't quite get how something meant for eyes can help with psoriasis. Secondly, I’m really hesitant about trying any Petroleum-based treatments. My father had the exact same diagnosis, and the treatment didn't just fail him—it nearly killed him. Things went south so fast that his doctors (everyone from Dr. Čikeš to Dr. Dirigl) couldn't even get his fever below 104 degrees for three straight months. He lost 90 pounds and was clinically dead. Thank God he pulled through, though even now, the doctors have no clue what happened or how he survived. So, where can you even find that Petroleum cream and oil? And how much different is it compared to the 20% Beloderma stuff?

Hello everyone! 🙂

Just wanted to share that I finally found a cream that actually works. I've been applying it to a stubborn spot on my hand for five days now, and it’s already visibly smaller... It's made with all-natural ingredients, and from what I've seen on Google, everything in it is great for soothing and hydrating the skin.

Also, I really don't want to go to Petroleum because treatment for my father—who had the exact same diagnosis—didn't help at all. It actually made things way worse. In the end, he was clinically dead because the inflammation got so bad that doctors (ranging from Dr. Čikeš to Dr. Dirigl) couldn't even get his fever below 104 degrees for three months straight. He lost 90 pounds and was practically gone. Thank God he pulled through, though the doctors still have no clue what happened to him or how he survived. Maxidex is a corticosteroid eye cream containing dexamethasone. Dermatologists sometimes prescribe it for milder cases of skin issues specifically for the face, since being meant for eyes makes it gentler than other steroid creams.
As far as I know, you can only get Petroleum cream and oil at Petroleum. It’s different from Beloderma because it doesn't use corticosteroids; it just uses salicylic acid.
And yeah, Happy New Year to everyone!

"Salicylic Acid"
It's that old, reliable ingredient you see in just about everything. Pretty sure Visnjic used it back at Vipsogal, too. It basically just peels away the top layer of skin to give you that immediate, superficial glow. But let’s be real—it doesn't actually do anything to treat the underlying condition.

Hey there, fellow forum members... So, I just went through this entire thread from the very first page to the last—man, the way you guys help each other out is awesome. There’s a ton of solid info in here if you actually bother to read it.

I'm dealing with some symptoms that might be neurodermatitis, so I figured I'd throw it out there and see what you all think.

The symptoms:
- Rashes, eczema, and spots specifically right under my eyes and on my eyelids
- Swollen eyes
- Nowhere else on my body
- It doesn't itch, it doesn't burn, it isn't peeling, it's not pus-filled, and there's zero discharge
- It only flares up during the winter
- Started when I was 30, now I'm 33

I went in for testing... turns out I'm allergic to dust, mites, grass, stuff like that.
Honestly, I'm having a hard time connecting that to this winter thing because I'm constantly outdoors and I deal with plenty of dust normally—like, I'm always messing around in my car—so I don't have any issues the rest of the year.

I've read everything about diet and lifestyle changes, but again, I just don't see the link...

The doctor gave me some Telfast tablets and Maxidex cortisone, and boom—gone in a few days. I also tried Protopic, but that didn't really do much for me. As soon as I stop the meds, it comes right back... anyway, here are the photos

Cheers everyone, hope you all have fewer health headaches in 2008.

This doesn't look like psoriasis to me... it's likely just dermatitis.

I'm not sure if there's any long-term solution for this condition... aside from Telfast or corticosteroids.

The cold weather might be aggravating it. My boyfriend gets similar redness on his face during the winter, but there isn't much you can do besides using neutral moisturizers and waiting for the seasons to change...

God bless, everyone! Happy New Year to you all!🙏 It’s been quite a while since my last check-in, mostly because there hasn't been much worth reporting. A few months back—back in July, actually—I decided to give that ointment from HEALED a shot. I was incredibly diligent about following every single instruction to the letter, but I've finally decided to call it quits. After four months of steady use and burning through four 2.7 oz containers, things initially seemed to be looking up, but then they just hit a plateau. Now, after about twenty days of not applying anything at all, I find myself back in remission, hovering right near where I started before I ever tried it. Unfortunately, seeing as none of my colleagues who dealt with more severe psoriasis have managed to achieve being HEALED, I’m starting to suspect this supposed miracle worker isn't quite the game-changer it claims to be. Given our little group here is fairly small, perhaps we're just a unique subset of people immune to this "miracle" cure, but having dropped about $260 on it during the latter half of last year, I certainly expected better results. My plan for this year is to pivot toward different options. First, I’m heading down to a coastal town in Florida for a little getaway, and after that, I'm going to look into monoclonal antibody therapy. If anyone here has firsthand experience with those—specifically infliximab, efalizumab "Raptiva," alefacept, etanercept "Embrel," or adalimumab—I would truly appreciate it if you could reach out. Has anyone used them? What were the actual effects like, what does the cost look like, and how long does the treatment cycle usually last? Thank you all so much, both personally and on behalf of the rest of our forum community. Bye!

Hi Chris Morgan67,

Looking at the link you shared, there seem to be a few different options (like the Dream Cream line for hands, body, and feet).
Which specific one did you end up trying?
Thanks so much!

"Regarding the price and the profit on the ointment, I have to be blunt. 60 bucks feels steep to me because I personally need two packs a month. Given average incomes around here—especially in places like the Midwest—that’s definitely not pocket change. I assume the cost to make it is way lower than the retail price, so since there's all this talk about loving God, maybe it's worth considering a price adjustment. Personally, the amount isn't a dealbreaker if it keeps working at this rate. At this pace, I’d be 'clear' by the end of summer, which is something I haven't managed in nearly 11 years of fighting psoriasis. Regards everyone. Don't stress out; nothing's going to work better than biting yourself!""

03.09.2007 says following
"God, hey team! Been away from the forum for a bit, so just checking in. You might've noticed I'm constantly hitting the coast and then heading back home for a few days. That's just how life works for us musicians; gigs, weddings, gigs... Anyway, here's my status after 2 months using the ointment (Michael Ramos3): all the affected areas have shrunk significantly, and the changes are real. In some spots, my skin has completely HEALED, the color matches the surrounding area, and even the stretch marks vanished (the skin was pretty wrinkled at first). The parts I didn't tan (under my swim trunks) are clear, just darker than the rest. On my toughest, most stubborn spots (forearms and thighs), I currently look patchy, sort of like a Dalmatian dog, but things are steadily improving. Basically, people who see me at the beach every summer, and even those who saw me at the start of this season, keep asking what happened. Since I've tried every cream and med under the sun, I have to admit I wasn't expecting this kind of progress. I'm not trying to run an ad for anyone, but I think anyone struggling with psoriasis long-term should give it a shot. Oh, yeah, I'm also taking a ton of Herbalife's tablets, omega-3, and evening primrose oil, so my nails have improved drastically too. I'm hoping to be totally clear in the next few weeks, so I'll check back in. I think my recovery is taking a bit longer because a couple times a month I don't even manage to apply it during the night (I get home after a wedding at 8 or 9 AM and just crash right where I am). But even like this, the ointment from Michael Ramos3 clearly works.

Man, what part of this are you not getting? I laid it out clearly: things actually looked better at first, then they just plateaued, and once I stopped using it, everything went downhill. Honestly, this whole ordeal has drained way too much of my time and money, so I’m calling it quits. It's obvious there is no "miracle" healing coming from you or the Lord! Like I’ve mentioned in several posts before, if your actual desire to help people matched those religious beliefs you claim to have, you probably wouldn't be getting so worked up over every single comment that doesn't go your way. Furthermore—and I really feel like I've said this already—given how sensitive this skin condition is, it would be pretty wise of you to re-evaluate the product you're peddling. You should probably consult someone with more expertise than just yourself and your old man regarding potential side effects (remember the Octane situation?). If this "miracle ointment" of yours truly worked as advertised, why is there absolutely zero documentation to prove it? No photos, no medical reports, nothing! On top of that, charging $65 in a country like ours is just plain unreasonable. If your magic cure actually did what you claim—if it truly "healed psoriasis"—there would definitely be patients running to their doctors to show off their clear skin, and the doctor would tell them, "This person is healthy!" At that point, you'd be looking at a Nobel Prize in medicine! You'd launch a massive corporation, make more money than Bill Gates, everyone would be scrambling to buy your stock, and everyone would be getting rich off your success! Sadly, for both you and us, none of that is happening. If anything from my previous posts still hasn't clicked for you, just let me know and I'll try to explain it again! Take care!

Looks like we’ve got another case of someone ignoring the basic instructions on how to actually use a product.

Okto never shared any official test results or data. He just gave his own subjective guess about where he stood during his worst moments—which, unfortunately, happened. So, I have no idea how long you're planning to keep using that as an argument.

Just a side note: $1,000 is also a massive amount of money for little fish that we already know won't take them, especially in the country where you live.

With faith in the Lord

Well, we've finally cracked the mystery behind this "ointment."

Michael Ramos3, would you be so kind as to share the lab results and official registrations for your "remedy"?
Otherwise, I'll have to start deleting every single one of your posts whenever you mention that cream, and frankly, I might just have to ban you.

Look, you're more than welcome to join the conversation in other parts of the forum, but please steer clear of this specific thread and sub-forum when it comes to that ointment.

Hey jadesailor14, you're quick as always! Thnx for the help, though I honestly don't think it's even necessary.
Regarding those fish, nobody is claiming they provide a total cure, but it's quite certain they offer some support! Given that in places like Austria and Germany, the social welfare systems cover a portion of therapy costs, I'd assume they're somewhat effective. Also, this whole "my country versus your country" way of talking feels more like kids bickering on a playground—you know, the whole "my dad is bigger than your dad" routine—rather than how someone would argue if they were actually trying to win a Nobel Prize!
P.S. jadesailor14, whatever happened to that terrier (fox, if I recall correctly)?

I think the tea tree oil really suits my skin, but it’s definitely worth a shot since it's natural, subtle, and the jar is quite generous...🙂
