Here we go again with the goalpost shifting. You guys do this constantly.
I’m not joking around. My father doesn't have psoriasis anymore, and neither do my twins. You're the one dealing with it.

If someone needs to lose their mind over this, it’s probably you.

I'm not nervous. I'm just responding to people making comments about me—you know, the ones acting like they're perfectly calm and don't get worked up at all.

Look, if you want to talk about what watermelon actually tastes like, you have to eat some first. Trying to debate the flavor without even tasting it is just absurd.
If you guys would just actually listen to people who have actually eaten watermelon—people who know firsthand whether it works or not—this conversation would be a lot more productive.

Like this?

Hey.

Only those who hang in there until the very end will be saved.

With faith in God.

And please, spare me the act and the fake surprise over why my comment was so "harsh." 😉

Let's clear this up once and for all.

This guy (gaetano) made a really nasty comment about my posts, even though they had nothing to do with him.

A third member (rapidpanther41) is jumping on the bandwagon too, acting all judgmental.
You can't strip away my right to respond to them.
Nor can you take away their right to comment on my posts.
If someone's being rude here, it's them, not me.
So why aren't you sanctioning their rudeness?

Besides, there's zero advertising going on here (neither direct nor indirect—they're talking about some ointment while I'm just talking about watermelons. Heh.

Hey everyone!!!
I've noticed that there hasn't been a single post for days now, and honestly, it's a bit disheartening because it clearly suggests there's neither any news nor any actual progress being made toward anything better.

Anyway, I just wanted to reach out, say hello to you all, and wish you a very happy upcoming holiday season.👍

Michael Ramos3, if you really think you've managed to get Psorcutan under control, maybe you should go see a shrink next to try and fix that brain of yours... I gotta hand it to you though, your stubbornness in trying to pull a fast one is just plain ridiculous. Anyway, how are the twins doing?😳who, me and Dragon 100?

It looks like things have gone totally silent here for days—honestly, it’s kind of a bummer because it feels like there hasn't been any news or any actual progress to report lately.

Just wanted to drop in, say hi to you all, and wish you a really happy upcoming holiday season.👍

We’ve all gotten a little rusty, I guess—maybe everyone is just waiting for someone else to come up with a fresh angle or a new topic regarding psoriasis, or maybe, just like me, people are finding they enjoy lurking and reading the posts more than actually typing them out.☕

A friend of mine deals with psoriasis—a few years back, her dermatologist suggested she try tanning beds, and honestly, it’s made a huge difference for her. Good luck to everyone out there.😉

🙂 It would be so great if she’d jump in and share her take on how to actually deal with psoriasis. It'd be super helpful for all of us!👍

Hey there! Hi!

It’s quite remarkable, really. Wishing everyone out there nothing but the best of luck on their own journeys...😉

Yes, that’s exactly where the irony of this entire situation lies... It’s almost absurd when you think about it. My dermatologist—one of the last six or seven I’ve had to cycle through, mind you—actually looked me straight in the eye and said, and I quote: "If you were actually healthy, I wouldn't be recommending tanning beds to you, but since you're sick—well, go ahead then."😁

The tanning beds just aren't doing a damn thing for me, and honestly, if I don't manage to squeeze in another five or six sessions soon, I’m going to end up looking like a total Gypsy...

It’s honestly hard to wrap my head around how bad those dermatologists can be...

There is a massive difference between medical phototherapy, which uses UVB rays under strict clinical supervision, and just hitting a standard tanning bed that relies on UVA...

Phototherapy actually makes a significant difference, whereas a regular tanning bed really doesn't help much at all.

Anyway, I wanted to say hello to everyone. I haven't been around for long, but I try to read through the threads whenever I get a chance...

My psoriasis is doing alright lately; it's covering less than 5% of my body now. I just stick to using some oils and that seems to do the trick.
😬I even quit smoking altogether.

I’ve been through the whole routine myself—tried both the specialized Petroleum treatments and even the Salad approach... zero results to show for it. 🤷

I mean, look, I know plenty of people where even a regular tanning bed works wonders, so I suppose it all comes down to how your own body reacts to it...

I know people who find tanning beds helpful, but I suppose it all depends on how your body reacts...

Hm, did you try using any specific creams alongside the light therapy?

Usually, the skin clears up completely after about three weeks... especially if you use Psorcutan at the same time...

🤷

Oh, I certainly am. It was that Petroleum Zorac that triggered this whole 50% decline in my condition... and don't even get me started on the Salad, where I practically smothered myself in every imaginable ointment and cream under the sun. But nothing worked. Nothing at all. Still, I suppose there will come a day when the light finally breaks through for me too... 🙂

What a shame...👎

I've been hearing that quite a few people have had some pretty nasty reactions to that Zorac gel...👎
The medical establishment has struck a deal with his manufacturer, so they're pushing that Petroleum Zorac on everyone despite all the nasty side effects...

You might want to try Psorcutan ointment; I highly recommend it. There are several mentions of it in previous threads, and I've shared quite a bit about my own experience with it...

It’s a bit pricey, but I think you get what you pay for in the long run... especially when you pair it with light therapy. It works wonders...🙂

Greetings.
I noticed there were quite a few comments yesterday, so—to keep things moving—I have a question.
What kind of rights do we actually have with our employers (vacation time, sick leave, etc.) and what medications can we get at no cost? 🤷
Are there any specific "perks" available to us?😕

I don't have enough time to go through such a massive thread
but I do have a few questions

I've heard that using corticosteroids found in psoriasis medications
can be harmful because they mess with your hormones if you take them long-term
so now I'm telling him he needs to stop, specifically with the topical steroids

Has anyone heard about actual cures for psoriasis
not here in the States, but abroad

thnx 🙂

Yeah, I’ve had my own share of bad luck with Zorac ointment too. I haven't messed around with Psorcutan or gone the chemotherapy route, but a buddy of mine tried using a specific Salad—it actually helped for a minute, but then everything just went right back to square one. He usually makes regular trips to Petroleum, but honestly, that's just a temporary fix; he gets way more relief from the ocean and the sun. He’s been dealing with psoriasis way longer than I have, so we’re constantly swapping advice—though what works for him doesn't always work for me, and vice versa. So far, nothing has really stuck for longer than six months before it all falls apart again.👍

Some people on this forum claim they've been totally clear of psoriasis for over six months now.

At least, that's what they're telling us, right?

Best.

I don't plan on doing Petroleum treatments myself; I've heard they can be quite aggressive, and I really wouldn't want to put petroleum or anything similar on my skin.😢

Regarding benefits for those with psoriasis—it's a chronic condition, but whether you get any accommodations depends entirely on your boss and if your company actually has some empathy for the illness.

In America, psoriasis is primarily treated with ointments and creams that, frankly, feel outdated compared to global medical trends.
It's honestly a shame that you can't just pick up Psorcutan at any local pharmacy here, and even when you can, the price is ridiculous. Instead, they try to push things like Belosalic or Beloderm—kinds of "beauty" products that feel like they belong in third-world countries rather than modern medicine.👎 ☕
