Take care of yourself—keep an eye on your sense of taste and smell, everyone says that's the first sign.

It says ten days for me. Honestly, I'm not sweating it; I've been eating well and keeping things high-quality just so I have a reason to keep testing constantly. 😁

Taste, smell, and musical taste are especially hit hard.
Basically, once someone starts diving into weird experimental albums... they're straight into self-isolation. 😁

Lisa Davis46 said:I'm not entirely sure... usually, all these tasks need to be wrapped up by the end of the month, rather than scrambling during those final weeks leading up to Christmas. At least, that's how I deal with deadlines... though maybe that isn't the issue here. Perhaps we've just been suggesting uninspiring albums lately? 🙂

I can't speak for everyone else, but personally, I try my best to boycott all that hipster nonsense—at least the extreme kind. I just don't have much of an appetite for that sort of thing.

17 It feels like we're finally standing at the threshold of something significant... just sitting here, staring at the screen, trying to find the right way to frame this whole mess. It’s hard to know where to begin when everything feels so layered and heavy, almost like you're wading through thick fog before the sun even thinks about breaking through... I suppose this is just the opening act, the quiet before whatever storm we're heading toward actually hits us. There isn't much else to say yet, so I'll just leave it at that for now...

The second Amanda Robinson4 dropped Anastasis into the mix, I think we can all agree that every other suggestion is basically dead on arrival. DCD just has such a massive following here in the States—they’re an absolute powerhouse in this scene—so they’re the clear frontrunner for this round...😉

The real question is whether the folks on this forum will actually go for it. 🙂 Things have been a little quiet lately, so you might even catch yourself being surprised... 😁 Personally, I’m just sitting here waiting for someone to suggest a total classic. It’s not like we always need to be digging up something brand new or wild in these threads, right?

Have you been watching the series Big Mouth? Those hormonal monsters really capture the essence of that little devil perfectly... https://bigmouth.fandom.com/wiki/Rick

If Blast Tyrant isn't considered a classic, then I don't know what is. 😁

p.s. I haven't been watching the series Big Mouth yet, but there's definitely a resemblance, true enough.

Passing Inner Shield 13:25

All Music by Peter Andersson

I remember when I first stumbled upon the Cold Meat Industry label here in the States. It felt like stepping into an entirely different dimension. Back then—during the mid-to-late 90s—there really wasn't anything else out there playing that game.

During those initial heavy-hitting years, they released a massive variety of stuff, yet everything stayed within this singular musical universe built on very specific foundations.

Throughout all these years, Peter Andersson and his project Raison d'Etre have remained a true constant. With such a distinct sonic signature, he’s crafted a truly impressive body of work that still stands as a gold standard for future generations of dark ambient and industrial enthusiasts.

Go ahead and set the year for The Fragile. I already did it on my end, but if you don't mind, let everyone else see it on the poll too :P.
EDIT: Man, you were quick to swipe that while I was still typing, haha.
