Joe, were you just about to dive into some lecture on spacetime using Sebastian Vettel's cheering as an example?πŸ€£πŸ™

Correcting an inaccuracy.

I actually declared Sebastian Vettel the successor to Michael Schumacher way back in 2007.

Give me a break here... Does anyone actually remember who among you was talking about F1 back when you were still stuck in high school?

Paul is basically a Ferrari fanboy through and through, so obviously he was rooting for their driver and against whoever was breathing down his neck for the title. β˜•
You've been lurking here so long you clearly can't remember what Paul actually thought about Sebastian Vettel or Alonso back when neither of them were even at Ferrari, let alone in the running for it...
And honestly, watching you foam at the mouth over his take on Alonso was just painful to witness. 😬

But unfortunately, Ferrari just doesn't have the stones. And honestly, it looks like you were spot on when you said Ferrari isn't seeing another championship for decades. The only thing is, that realization probably isn't doing you any favors right now 😁

Ferrari has devolved into this totally mediocre outfit, and their driver lineup is a perfect reflection of that mediocrity. Expecting them to move forward is a joke; next season is just going to be another massive step backward.

Man, you were getting so worked up over his take on Alonso that it was actually painful to watch 😬

Look, I know exactly what he was saying. I just genuinely thought he’d finally grown some sense after watching the Maestro pull 150% out of that absolute garbage Ferrari car and absolutely demolish his own teammates.

It was Domenecalia and LdM who butchered them, not Maestro...

darkmarlin16 said:Unfortunately, Ferrari lacks any real backbone. And looks like you were rightβ€”they won't see a championship for decades. Too bad that doesn't help you now. 😁

Ferrari didn't have any guts with the old crew, but Marcione actually does...
Poteral cleared out LdM, Domenecalia, and Alonso... and eventually even Matija, whom he only brought in to get rid of the parasites...
He's cleaning out the squad that was dragging Ferrari straight to the bottom and starting to bring in actually competent drivers and people.
Kimi is basically just a stopgap; they'll give him one more year of breathing room, and if he proves he's still got it, he stays. If not, he's out.

Next season, expect Ferrari to be way better than this yearβ€”whether that means podiums, wins, points, or just the final standings.

Perfectly assessed his ego and got rid of him without spending a single dime πŸ™

You can tell the guy knows exactly what he's doing. He saved the team a ton of cash meant for car development and the PU πŸ‘

Honestly, Alonso pulls way more out of that Ferrari than he ever had any right to, I swear, just absolutely demolishing his teammate on points every single season without fail.

If it wasn't for Alonso, Ferrari would basically be stuck at the level of Force India.

If Ferrari didn't have Alonso, they’d probably have at least two titles sitting in the trophy case from the last five years.β˜•
Alonso is a myth, and honestly, he was the biggest headache Ferrari ever had.
Even if he were as great as you claim, he’d still be the problem. If anything, having a superhero on the team would just mean everyone else could sit around doing nothing all year, knowing he'd somehow drag them to the top even when the car was absolute garbage.

Alonso is a myth, and that myth was actually Ferrari's biggest issue.
Even if he were as good as you claim, he’d still be the main problem. It would just mean the rest of the team could have spent the entire year slacking off because they had a superhero who could drag them to the front with nothing but sheer willpower.

Everyone has their own take. To be fair, we're just talking about myths here.

Don't you get that Alonso walked away from them, not the other way around? β˜•

How can you be so sure Felipe Massa isn't making just as much as Alonsoβ€”maybe even more!

Do you honestly believe it wasn't Lewis Hamilton who sabotaged them, rather than the team pushing him out? β˜•

Is that so? Well, if I recall the reports correctlyβ€”and perhaps I misread themβ€”they turned down his request for a one-year deal while simultaneously stripping away his privileges regarding technical staff selection for his side of the garage. If those rumors hold any water, it wouldn't look much like a mutual parting; it would look more like they forced him out just to clear a path for Ford. β˜•

Those two titles really did him dirtyβ€”back in 2010 and 2012...

Lewis Hamilton is just a mythβ€”and honestly, he was the core issue at Ferrari...

Lewis Hamilton absolutely crushed his teammateβ€”but apparently, the four-time champ just folded under pressure from some guy named Richard... πŸ˜‚ You tell me who the legend is... πŸ‘‹

Man, I must have misread something thenβ€”I heard they turned down his request for a one-year deal and told him they were cutting back on his technical crew for his side of the garage. If that’s actually what happened, it sounds less like a choice and more like they pushed him out just to clear a seat for Ford... β˜•

You've got it all wrong πŸ‘‹

You really believe everything you read online, huh...

Where's your logic? If Lewis Hamilton wanted to stay at Ferrari, he would've stayedβ€”he had a contract. But Lewis wanted out because he was done playing games with them. They didn't give him a car that could compete with a couple of Red Bulls for five years straight, so obviously, he's moving on to find some wins with someone else.

Where is your logic? If Alonso had wanted to stay at Ferrari, he would have stayed because his contract would have required it. Instead, Alonso requested his exit from Ferrari because he simply ran out of patience with them. They failed to provide him with a car even remotely comparable to a couple of Red Bulls over five years; it stands to reason that he would leave to pursue victories elsewhere.

I suppose I do believe everything I read, seeing as you are busy defending a driver's decision to walk away from the very team where he was the undisputed master of championshipsβ€”all without having a signed deal anywhere else, only to watch them struggle to complete three laps without a breakdown, while they still haven't offered him a contract.
