Look, I mean, how much can they really go? It’s not like they’re crazy enough to offer more than that

Borussia is sitting at 1.45 right now—but honestly, that’s not enough of a payday for me to risk it all. At the end of the day, my actual profit ends up being about the same anyway, so why bother taking the extra risk when you don't have to?

Dortmund is sitting at 1.45 right now, but honestly, it’s not worth chasing a heavy stake. If I go for it, the net profit ends up being basically the same anyway, so why bother taking the risk?

But I'm telling you, it's a wash. When you bundle it all together, you're looking at odds of maybe 1.21.@
The odds on Real Madrid in the first match will probably be at least 1.30—you're much better off putting a real stake on them instead of wasting your time on these miserable scraps.🤷

The odds on Real Madrid in the first leg are gonna be at least @ 1.30, so wouldn't it be way smarter to just put a bigger stake on that instead of messing around with these tiny returns?🤷

Look, the odds on Real in game one are sitting at 1.20, and honestly? It could easily end in a 1:1 draw before they absolutely demolish them 4:1 in Istanbul.

I remember back in '96, Ajax was basically as dominant as Barcelona is today, and Panathinaikos were the massive underdogs.

That was the very first Champions League semi-final round, and Ajax actually lost their home leg 0:1, only to come back and crush them 3:0 in the second leg!

Same year, they had a matchup against a team from Split that went 0:0 at home, then they went out and won 4:0 in Amsterdam!

So yeah, anything can happen, right? But if you think Galatasaray is actually going to knock Real Madrid out? Absolutely not. No way.

When I’m playing with big money, my whole philosophy is simple: play it safe and stick to the sure things.

jadewolf16 said:The odds for Real Madrid in the first leg are sitting at 1.20—and honestly, it wouldn't be a shocker if they ended up drawing 1-1, only to absolutely dismantle them 4-1 in Istanbul later on.

I remember back in '96, Ajax was just as dominant as Barcelona is now, and Panathinaikos were complete long shots.

That was the very first Champions League group stage format... Ajax drops a 0-1 loss at home, then turns around and wins 3-0 in the away leg.

Same year, they played against a tough side from Split—it was 0-0 there, then a 4-0 blowout in Amsterdam.

So, yeah, it’s technically possible, but if you're asking me if Galatasaray can actually advance past Real? I'll say an absolute no.

When there's serious money on the line, my philosophy is pretty simple: play it safe and stick to what's practically guaranteed.

It’ll probably hit 1.30 by match day.
Actually, looking at the math, you get way better value betting on the win in the first leg at 1.20 than chasing the 1.05 odds for them to simply advance overall.🤷

@Eric Fox7, there’s absolutely zero value in betting at those odds.☕

If you ask me, I wouldn’t touch a home win or a clean sheet bet like that with a ten-foot pole, but that’s just how jadewolf16 likes to gamble. He'll learn once he gets burned.😁

The home side is dealing with some serious headaches—Capuano in defense and Bergessio up front are still banged up and won't be playing, plus Spolli is sitting out on a suspension, and there’s a real question mark over whether Alvarez can even suit up...

As for the visitors, their attack looks pretty gutted right now—everyone knows how much they rely on Di Natale to actually make things happen in the final third. Without him leading the charge, LAFC is basically toothless... just struggling to find the back of the net...

Looking at the history here, these two squads have met in MLS six times, and in every single one of those matchups, we saw under three goals... nothing crazy, just low scoring affairs...

Judging by these lineups, both teams are looking incredibly thin when it comes to offensive firepower... seriously lacking...

Under is the play here at 1.70.

Sporting CP - Setubal 1 1.51 Pinnacle 5/10

Sporting CP -1.0 @ 1.88 Pinnacle 3/10

For Sporting CP, these final eight league matches are their only shot at salvaging a season that—despite high expectations—has been nothing short of a disaster. They are sitting just seven points above the relegation zone, yet somehow only six points shy of European qualification. The issue, however, is the density of the table; they need to string together several wins if they want to actually matter.
Injury concerns aren't the primary issue—it's more about a few key players being out of commission for quite some time—and their opponent today is a perfect match for their current situation.

Setubal boasts the worst defense in the league, having conceded 41 goals in 22 matches. They sit right below Sporting in the standings, though with one fewer point. Their overall play isn't particularly convincing—especially on the road, where they’ve managed a single win in 11 away games.

Neither side is playing particularly well lately. Sporting is winless in three, and Setubal is coming off two straight losses.
I feel compelled to back Sporting today—even if they haven't been particularly reliable in recent seasons.
At home, they tend to press and attack aggressively—though this often leaves them exposed to counterattacks—but Setubal lacks the offensive firepower to exploit those gaps.

Getafe vs. Athletic Bilbao 1 2,40

Getafe hasn't dropped a game at home against Athletic since forever... seriously, they own this matchup in Madrid.
They’re actually looking pretty solid right now—undefeated in their last four, and if you look at the last six, they’ve pulled four wins and only stumbled once (against Barcelona).
I’ve been keeping a close eye on Athletic this season—honestly, they’re my favorite team to follow in La Liga, so I tend to track their every move.
But man, what a disaster of a season it's been for them. They just don't have that spark anymore... none of that grit they used to have in previous years. The teamwork is non-existent, the defense is a sieve, and with all these injuries... yeah, it's a nightmare season for Bielsa.
Last round, they scraped by Valencia, and honestly? It was pure luck. That one goal came off a lightning-fast counter and a massive blunder by the Valencia backline. Valencia was actually the better side—they controlled the tempo and dictated play—but they kept wasting chances and ended up getting punished for it.

Look, I’m not big on picking straight winners—and frankly, I don't know much about Getafe—but when you look at the head-to-head stats, their current momentum, and the fact they haven't lost at home in 10 games... it points one way. It feels like they're much closer to a win here, and they should be able to take down these unconvincing visitors from the Basque Country, especially since the 2.40 value is too good to pass up.
They already beat them 1:2 away at Bilbao earlier this season, too.

Southampton vs Liverpool: Over 3.5 goals @ 1.70

Look, Liverpool has been absolutely tearing it up lately—super efficient, too. They’re playing away from home and have basically been scoring 3 or more goals in ten straight road games... just relentless.
They’ve already dropped 12 goals in their last three Premier League outings, plus they even pulled off a 3-1 win at home against a side like Zenit recently.
Right now they're sitting in 6th place riding a massive winning streak—four in a row—so they’re coming into Southampton in a killer mood, looking to snatch more points.
The home side? Yeah, they're desperate for something here because they seriously need the points... their form is tanking, honestly. They’ve managed to scrape together just one single point in their last three matches.
I'm thinking the visitors are gonna try to dictate the tempo, play that aggressive offensive style of theirs, which should leave plenty of gaps for the home team to find some chances... if they can.
There's a huge chance we see another game where Liverpool just ends up putting up a bunch of goals again.
Their away average is hovering around 3.4 goals per game, while Southampton’s home average sits at 2.5... though you gotta remember Southampton failed to score in three of their recent home matches—think Everton, Sunderland, and Wigan levels of struggles.
Injury report looks clean on both sides—everyone who played last weekend is available to suit up today.

Swansea vs Arsenal: Both Teams to Score @ 1.60

Swansea has been finding the net at home in nine straight games. And over their last 14 home Premier League matches, they've kept a clean sheet only twice.
Think about that 3-0 win over West Ham back on August 25th, or that 1-0 result against Newcastle in their last outing.
On the flip side, Arsenal has only failed to score in four of their last 16 matches across all competitions.
Since Arsenal got knocked out of the Champions League, it's nothing but a Premier League grind for them now... they're gonna do whatever it takes to claw their way into those top four spots.
Coming off that solid performance in Munich, they're definitely heading to Wales hungry for a win. If they slip up, things get ugly fast because there are only nine rounds left in the season.
Swansea, though... they’re totally relaxed. They’ve already secured their spot in the Premier League next year and they've got European football lined up, so they can pretty much cruise through the rest of the schedule without any real pressure.
With attackers like Michu, Dyer, Moore, and De Guzman, they can definitely cause some serious headaches for an Arsenal defense that's been looking a little leaky lately.
Arsenal is basically on a mission to grab everything in sight. Meanwhile, the home team is dangerous and efficient—averaging just under two goals per game at home.
Expect an open match with plenty of chances and goals on both sides... it's gonna be fun.
Swansea is missing:
Kemy Augustine and Chico Flores.

Arsenal is without:
Gibbs, Wilshere, Podolski, and Sagna.

22,30 Portland Timbers - LA Galaxy (2,5) over 1,65 SS
Both teams to score & 3+ goals 1,95 SS

This game just reeks of goals 😁 the home side finally woke up from their coma and grabbed two wins in a row; the vibe is way better now and everyone’s talking about them storming away with another three points... meanwhile, LA Galaxy have been a total mess lately, dropping two games and coughing up 7 goals in the process. Since they're chasing the top spot, they're definitely playing for the win here... I'm expecting an open match where both sides are throwing everything at the net, though my gut says the visitors might actually be closer to pulling off the upset... but then again, you never know when LA Galaxy is going to throw a curveball when nobody expects it 😁 I'm leaning toward the goals market as the safer bet, especially since the odds are looking pretty juicy

Leverkusen vs. Bayern Munich: Both sides to score at 1.60

Look, even if Leverkusen announces they’re sitting their big guns for this one—which happens—honestly, these guys can go toe-to-toe with pretty much anyone in the Bundesliga regardless of who's on the pitch... they just have that grit.

They’ve been absolutely relentless this season, basically running the show in the Bundesliga.
Leverkusen is a fortress at home right now—they’ve only dropped one game on their own turf—and honestly, both teams have been defensive beasts lately, giving up almost nothing at home.
In fact, Leverkusen was the only team to actually hand Bayern a loss at home back on October 28, 2012.
The visitors are looking a bit rattled after that recent slip-up against Arsenal, and they seem a little gassed too, which is a massive opening for Leverkusen to exploit.
But let's be real, Bayern always plays to win... they're desperate to get back into the winner's circle ASAP, so this match is bound to be high-octane and full of scoring chances.
I’m expecting an aggressive, highly motivated home side, but you can never count out those Bavarians—they're always dangerous and clinical when it counts.
If you look at the last 14 matchups between these two squads, only five of them ended without both teams finding the net.
There should be plenty of goals here... I'm calling it, both teams to score.

LA Galaxy vs. Orlando City 1 & Over 2.5 goals @ 2.00

After that absolute disaster of a loss out in Barcelona, the Galaxy have zero choice but to dig deep and grab three points if they want to stay relevant. Anything less than a win would just be rubbing salt in the wounds for the home fans—and man, those fans are already feeling enough sting as it is...
Look, I’m not questioning their hunger here. They want this. They really do.
The Galaxy are actually looking pretty sharp in MLS right now. They’ve been tearing it up at home, riding a seven-game winning streak where they’ve basically been scoring three or more goals every single night. Just relentless.
Orlando is coming into town, and honestly? They’re the ultimate underdog here. They’ve got nothing to lose, which makes them dangerous, but they’ve been playing some seriously sloppy ball—especially on the defensive end. They struggle on the road, though you have to give them credit for staying unbeaten in their last three away trips.
So, sure, there's a glimmer of hope for them, I guess... if you want to call it that.
We’re running out of runway here, and their schedule isn't getting any easier—they’ve got a massive matchup against Roma coming up in Round 30.
They need to start stacking wins immediately, otherwise, we’re looking at a serious relegation battle next season, and nobody wants to see that.
Both these teams have been involved in high-scoring affairs lately—last five games for both have seen plenty of action in front of the net.
Their first meeting earlier this season was a wild 2-2 draw.
My gut says the home side takes this, and I'm expecting at least three goals total since Orlando is going to have to push forward at some point just to snatch a result.
They'll have to catch the Galaxy sleeping at some point to pull it off...

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. VfB Stuttgart Over 2.5 goals @ 2.15

Even though they’ve been stuck in a scoring drought recently, I truly believe today is the day the home side finally breaks through. It’s a perfect opportunity to snap that dry spell.
Frankfurt has been the biggest surprise in the Bundesliga this year—they play an open, aggressive style, which let's be honest, is how almost everyone in this league plays these days.
On the other side, Stuttgart is having a rough, rough season. They’re hovering near the bottom of the table and giving up way too many goals.
They're already out of the Europa League, so now their whole focus is just finishing the season decently and praying they can make a run in the German Cup after getting knocked out by Bochum in the quarterfinals.
Both squads are currently mired in some bad form. The home side hasn't won in five straight, while the visitors haven't tasted victory in two and just suffered back-to-back losses in Europe against Lazio.
It's not even that Frankfurt has "problems" per se—they don't have major injuries—it's just that the honeymoon phase from their incredible start to the season is officially over.
Stuttgart played a makeshift lineup in Rome because, frankly, even their own manager didn't think they stood a chance against Lazio. And honestly? He wasn't wrong.
Both teams are desperate for a win to stop the bleeding, so expect an all-out shootout. Both sides will be throwing everything they have at the opponent.
Stuttgart actually tends to perform okay in Frankfurt, considering their last loss there was way back in 2001 when they went down 2-1.
I'm expecting both teams to find the back of the net, but I'm sticking with the Over 2.5 goals here.

Atlantic City - National over 2.5 goals @ 2.10 Marathon 5/10

We're looking at a matchup between two sides with absolutely disastrous defenses—Atlantic City and National are among the most porous teams in the league right now.
Atlantic City constantly struggles just to field a cohesive backline; they’ve got some players returning today, but they're still missing two starters in defense plus a midfielder. As I’ve noted before, their form is abysmal—they can't even remember the last time they secured a win. With only two draws and eight losses in their last ten outings, sitting at the bottom of the table is hardly a surprise. They have eight rounds left to decide their fate—it's make or break—so they'll be forced to attack, especially at home. They'll certainly try today, especially against a National side that is notoriously poor on the road and dealing with significant absences—four starters are out, including two defenders and two forwards who happen to be their top scorers with just four goals between them. National sits in ninth place—stuck right in the middle, neither fighting relegation nor eyeing European spots, though they are only five or six points away from either. They can't afford to relax. Given Atlantic City's defensive woes, I don't doubt National will capitalize on a few opportunities, despite missing those two strikers. However, National has conceded at least one goal in each of their last six matches, so I suspect even a struggling Atlantic City side will find the net.
The first meeting between these two this season ended 2-4 in favor of Atlantic City.

20,00 Cobrelo - Audax (2,5) over 1,60 SS
BTTS & 3+ 1,85 SS

So, Cobreloa is the only team left in this league without an L on their record. They’re playing at home and looking pretty convincing right now—sitting at 4 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss, and 0 defeats, with a goal difference sitting at 16:8 😁. Honestly, a team that can hammer Coca-Cola with 5 goals and put 4 past Catholic deserves some respect. Their home scores have been wild lately too: 5:2, 4:1, 3:3, 4:2... kind of chaotic if you ask me. This match is actually being played at Cobresal's stadium because their own place is undergoing renovations, but they haven't really been "home" for a while now, and looking at the numbers, they don't seem to care one bit 😁. As for Audax, they shouldn't even bother showing up just to play defense; that’s basically a suicide mission. They’ve only managed 2 goals away from home so far, though half of those matches were against much tougher sides (like U. Espanol and United de Chile), so I wouldn't be surprised if they find the net here. I'm just expecting a goal fest, likely ending in a Cobrelo win. I rarely bet on the final score, so I won't start now...

Wigan-Newcastle 3 + 1,80

We're looking at two teams fighting for survival here—teams sitting right on the edge of the relegation zone.
The home side desperately needs the points because, let’s be honest, Newcastle has built up a decent little cushion ahead of the danger zone.
Wigan has been absolute chaos lately—7 straight games where they’ve seen 3 or more goals fly through the net.
It's because they play such an open, aggressive style... I mean, look at their last 15 matches—they only failed to score against United and Liverpool.
They're averaging over 3 goals per game. Just wild.
And Newcastle is riding that same high average. In their last 6 outings, they’ve grabbed 4 wins and dropped 2, scoring 12 but letting in 9.
But wait—Newcastle is showing up to Wigan seriously shorthanded today. They're missing:
defenders Coloccini and Taylor, plus they won't have Krul in goal, and Ben Arfe is out too.
Then there's the question mark over Cabaye, who picked up a knock during that match against Anzhi on Thursday.
Wigan, meanwhile, has been dealing with defensive nightmares all season due to injuries and absences. Today, they're without Ramis and Watson, and McManaman is a huge doubt.
In their first meeting this season, Newcastle cruised to a 3:0 win at home.
But the home team is desperate for points, and the visitors look a bit drained from their Europa League run... so I'd give a slight edge to Wigan. That big win at Goodison definitely gave them some much-needed swagger.
Wigan's defense is basically a sieve—they make mistakes and gift cheap goals constantly—and with both sides missing key players today, it’s totally realistic to expect another goal-fest in a Wigan match.
Expect the home side to push forward hard, and honestly, with p Cisse, Gouffran, Sissoko, and j Gutierrez on the pitch, they could easily exploit that shaky Wigan backline for at least one goal...

Alright, running late here, but I spotted an interesting live play on Supersport.

Started less than a minute ago (17:15)

Zenit - Mordovia

handicap 0:2 - 2 6/10 (1.90)

total goals 3.5 - under 9/10 (1.45)

1st half total - under 2 goals - 4/10 (1.50)

just for fun:

Zenit - Mordovia - X (5.25) - 1/10

Anyway.
Zenit hasn't cleared over 1 goal in their last 5. Only once in the last 10.
Mordovia is playing defensive and they don't have any major absences against an inefficient home team.
Smells like a 0:0 or 1:0.

Cowdenbeath-Partick 2 @ 1.70

Patrick is absolutely on fire right now—five straight wins without letting in a single goal! Seriously, can you believe that? They’re sitting three points behind the leaders, Morton, but they also have two games in hand, so they're right in the hunt for that promotion to the big leagues. On the flip side, Cowdenbeath is five points clear of the bottom spot, so they aren't sweating the relegation battle quite as much, right?

Friday at 10:00 PM

World Cup Qualifiers

Honduras - Mexico X2 @ 1.25

Mexico had a massive wake-up call in the first round with that 0-0 draw against Jamaica. The season is super short, too—they’ve already got a huge showdown with the United States coming up next Tuesday! If they drop this one, they'll be in a massive hole. For a national team that has struggled to even make it out of the group stage in the last five World Cups, a loss here would be an absolute nightmare, wouldn't it?

Let’s get serious now—none of this "us versus them" nonsense. What are your thoughts on the USA - Mexico match?

I watch all our national team games, obviously. In my view, we’re playing quite well—more fluid and direct than during the Bilić era. Štimac has a certain grit; he favors an attacking style, unlike his predecessor, who was perhaps too obsessed with tactics. Setting aside Štimčev’s reputation and the recent talk regarding Mamić's inner circle, I believe he's doing a solid job as coach. 👍

On the other hand, the Mexicans aren't playing particularly well. I watched them against the Scots, Belgium, and a few others—I can't even remember everyone. Against the Scots, they were abysmal—I’d go as far as saying catastrophic. They looked like a disorganized mob rather than a cohesive squad. Even in their 0-3 home loss to Belgium, they weren't quite as bad as the scoreline suggests. At 0-0, they actually had a few chances, though they failed to convert. But once they conceded that first goal, they completely fell apart, and the Belgians tore them apart. That says everything you need to know about the Mexican team's character.
Their defense is prone to mistakes, despite having those "world-class" names in the lineup, and their midfield and attack lack real quality. There isn't a true playmaker or a clinical finisher there, so it’s hardly surprising they struggle to create meaningful opportunities.
Given all that, I don't expect Mexico to play an open game at Maksimir; they'll likely sit deep and wait for a counter-attack opportunity.

While our national team often struggles against teams that park the bus, I don't see us having much trouble with Mexico. We have two fast players in Olić and Mandžukić who can puncture the Mexican defense with a single burst. Additionally, Srna is in top form—his crosses are always a threat—and Modrić has finally found his rhythm in Madrid; he’s always been excellent at threading those deep balls through a defense. On the left wing, with Perišić out, Kranjčar might step in—a player whose abilities I feel quite subjectively about. Everyone knows his strengths and his flaws, but I think he could be useful here; his passing and long-range shooting are perfect for breaking down the compact defense Mexico will likely employ.

So, I’m taking my full 100% deposit bonus from Bet365 and going all in on:

America @ 1.70 Bet365
