Jeremy Lee67 said:Who's actually playing for Brazil here? Seriously though, does anyone have their lineup for today? The Americans are basically the runners-up of the world right now—and honestly, if they had a slightly more defensive-minded coach, they’d be champions—so they are incredibly fired up for games like this.

USA vs. Brazil: 1x 1.85

Brazil head coach Scolari has called up Brazil squad for Italy match. Julio Cesar (QPR), Diego Cavalieri (Fluminense), Dani Alves (Barcelona), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Filipe Luis (Atletico de Madrid), David Luiz (Chelsea), Dede (Vasco de Gama), Dante (Bayern Munich), Thiago Silva (Paris Saint Germain), Paulinho (Corinthians), Ramires (Chelsea), Jean (Fluminense), Fernando (Gremio), Luiz Gustavo (Bayern Munich), Kaka (Real Madrid), Hernandes (Lazio), Oscar (Chelsea), Lucas Moura da Silva (Paris Saint Germain), Neymar (Santos), Fred (Fluminense), Hulk (Zenit St. Petersburg), Diego Costa (Atletico de Madrid) are will be in Brazil squad against Italy.

Looks decent enough to me, though I wouldn't go betting the house on this one.

Charles Doyle6 said:There's really no point trying to pick a winner or a loser in matchups like this. If you absolutely have to play it, the safest bet is probably both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.

I have to side with Charles on that one. 🙂

US victory landed, 10/10 at 1.73 odds

AH-1 6/10 at 2.38

I might try my luck with something else later today
The reasoning is simple: our boys are superior in almost every metric, and I have a faint hope they won't squander these three points, especially since we have enough scoring talent in good form to compensate for any defensive lapses

Uruguay vs Paraguay, Home Win at 1.62, 10/10

AH-1 at 2.05, 6/10

Uruguay is fielding a full squad fighting for that fourth spot and direct qualification; after drawing 1-1 away in their first meeting, history suggests they usually secure the win at home, often covering the spread as well
Paraguay is missing five starters and frankly hasn't shown much substance throughout this qualifying run, sitting dead last with virtually no chance
I’ll remain slightly cautious given Uruguay's recent lackluster results, but on paper, everything should fall in their favor today

Carlisle vs Yeovil, Over 3.5 goals at 1.80

League One action.
So, Carlisle is sitting pretty in 17th right now—they aren't exactly staring down the barrel of relegation just yet, but let's be real, nobody's safe in this league... they haven't totally locked in that survival spot either.
They’ve got a 7-point cushion over bottom-feeders Scunthorpe, which helps, I guess.
But here’s the real meat of the matter—this team is absolutely clinical when they're playing at home. We're talking an average of 3.2 goals per match... just wild.
They've put up 26 goals but surrendered 35.
And get this—their starting keeper, Gillespie, is out for today's matchup.

Now, looking at the visitors... man, they are having a hell of a season. Honestly, there's a massive chance they'll be fighting for a Championship playoff spot next year.
Their away record is actually pretty clean, but don't let that fool you—they are arguably the most dominant home side in the whole league.
When they travel, though, they still pack a punch, averaging about 2.9 goals a game.
They haven't failed to find the net twice on the road, but they *are* hitting a bit of a slump lately... just a tiny bit of a crisis, if you want to call it that.
Plus, they're heading into this one without their best defender—the captain, McAllister.
The last time these two met this season, we saw plenty of action:
Yeovil-Carlisle 1:3

And if you look back at the previous season, things were just as explosive:

Carlisle-Yeovil 3:2
Yeovil-Carlisle 0:3

I’m fully expecting—and honestly, praying for—another high-scoring shootout between these two.
Both sides tend to find the back of the net about 1.5 times a game, but they also leak about that many—if not more—down their own end.

USA vs. Mexico, Mexico at @ 1.30

Let’s be real here—Mexico is still (arguably) the best team on the planet. Now that things have actually gotten serious, there's no way they're gonna let the Americans just walk in and snatch first place in the group. Honestly? 1.30 for a goal from a top-tier national team playing at full tilt against anyone is a total steal

USA vs. Paraguay, USA win @ 1.60

It's common knowledge how much of an edge the USA gets playing in Denver at that high altitude. Plus, they’re looking much fresher right now and have a massive shot at pulling off a huge win against Paraguay

So far, they've been absolutely untouchable in these qualifiers

USA - Venezuela 2:0
USA - Peru 2:0
USA - Colombia 1:0
USA - Bolivia 1:0
USA - Chile 3:1

Basically, a perfect record!

Orlando vs. Buffalo 3+ 1,80

Look, Orlando’s got the second most lethal offense in the USL...
They are fighting tooth and nail for that direct promotion spot—they're actually tied for second place right now with Verona, who’s playing later today too.
When they play at home, their record is a solid 9-3-4, and check this out: a goal difference of 33:26 means they’re averaging about 3.7 goals per game. Just insane...
A win is basically mandatory today because they’ve been stuck in this weird rut of drawing too many games lately.
They play such an aggressive, wide-open style—out of their 38 matches this season, only 12 ended with fewer than 3 goals, and a whopping 20 of them went over the 3-goal mark.
On the other side, you’ve got Buffalo just trying to stay relevant and keep their heads above water in the league.
But Buffalo has actually been playing lights out recently—especially on the road over the last month and a half.
They’re on a 6-game unbeaten streak away from home, and they’ve found the back of the net in every single one of those matches... honestly, only one of those away trips ended in a 1-1 draw.
Their away average is slightly lower, sitting just under 2.5 goals per game.
I’m expecting the home team to come out swinging for the win, but I also think the visitors will keep this scoring streak alive and continue being so efficient on the road...
(If you're feeling particularly gutsy, you could even take the 4+ at 3.00)

Luxembourg vs. Finland 2 @ 1.70

Finland—obviously—wasn't even dreaming about qualifying before those 1-1 draws against Spain, but now? Now they’re looking to show off! After that epic run, they really want to prove to the fans back home that their recent success wasn't just a total fluke. They want everyone watching under the microscope to see how good they actually are.

I mean, look, the quality on the Finnish side is absolutely undeniable. Meanwhile, Luxembourg recently got absolutely hammered 6-0 by Israel... so really, the only question is what's driving them, and I'm betting they'll have plenty of motivation to change that!

USA - Scotland (1.60) 1

(2.60) f2

Scotland's manager, Gordon Strachan, is staring down a massive headache ahead of this showdown against the "Americans," mostly because he’s heading into a stadium in Chicago with basically zero options up front. He’s looking at a roster where he might only have one healthy striker to work with. After that heartbreaking collapse against Wales, Steven Fletcher headed straight back to Sunderland to get his ankle looked at.
To make matters worse, Kenny Miller is also a huge question mark thanks to some knee issues. Strachan has been sweating over Ross McCormack and James Forrest for a while now too, which leaves him with nothing but Blackburn's Jordan Rods to lead the charge. The coach is reportedly eyeing a call-up for QPR’s James Mack just to plug the hole.
And honestly? The nightmare doesn't end there. The squad is absolutely gutted. They've lost Robert Snodgrass to a suspension, and both captain Gary Caldwell and Celtic's Charlie Mulgrew are nursing knocks from that scrap with Wales. Throw in Jamie Morrison being out on injury, and you've got a team that's missing its literal heartbeat.

Look, if Fletcher isn't on the pitch, they're essentially toothless. Meanwhile, the Americans are itching to make up for that embarrassing loss at MetLife Stadium in front of their home crowd...

I’m telling you, betting on Estonia vs. Andorra is a total trap—it’s absolute madness to think they won't find the back of the net when the odds are sitting at 1.40... I mean, seriously? You're looking at those numbers and thinking there's a chance they stay scoreless? No way. It just doesn't add up...

Man, these guys are absolutely pathetic... they haven't found the back of the net in 15 straight matches. Seriously, where is the offense? It’s been a total drought. The last time they actually managed to score was way back in September 2010 during that 3-1 loss over in Chicago... honestly, at this point, you have to wonder if they even know where the goal is located...
The absolute worst matchups are definitely the ones against teams like San Marino. I mean, seriously... those Estonian guys? They’re total pros. They didn't even let in a single goal during their away game in Andorra—so you really think they're gonna just roll over and let one slip in at home? Yeah, right... I don't buy it for a second.

The US just dropped a massive 1-2 loss against Wales... seriously, what are we even doing out there? Absolute disaster class from the national team today—just total chaos on the pitch and zero cohesion to speak of... honestly, I'm beyond frustrated at this point.

Look, winning against Mexico would be great and all, but honestly? It wouldn't mean a damn thing if we don't walk away with some points against Canada... everything else is just noise if we can't secure those wins when it actually counts.
The US squad definitely walked away from that win in Chicago feeling themselves—they’ve got that extra bit of swagger and hunger now, I'll give them that. But let's be real for a second... even with all that momentum, looking at the matchup, they aren't exactly a lock to walk away with another W. Still, if they play smart, a draw is totally on the table... maybe...
I’m playing it safe, honestly—going for the most conservative play possible... that way, if things end up being a wash and we hit a draw, I don't end up losing my shirt on the bet.

Mexico vs England... England sitting at 1.30 for the DNB. Honestly, looking at these odds, it feels like a total setup... just waiting for the trap to spring...

Honestly, looking at the way they’re moving on the pitch, England still looks like the absolute class of this group—even if it feels a bit crazy to say right now... They just play on a different level than everyone else here.
Man, I’m telling you right now—this squad is absolutely lethal. They’re easily the heavy hitters in this tournament, and honestly? There isn't anyone else even in the conversation for favorites... they've got that edge everyone else is just praying for.
The reason they’re sitting at zero wins is pretty simple—it’s because they had two massive opportunities against the Giants where they actually played better ball and should've walked away with the W... but instead, they just couldn't close it out.
Look, I really think they’re going all out this time—like, full-blown serious mode—and they're probably gonna walk away with the win in Vegas... but hey, I'm already hedging my bets just in case things end up being a total wash or a split decision.
Man, this is getting intense... we’re basically right on the edge of deciding who takes the group, so you just know the away team is gonna be playing like their lives depend on it. They aren't going to take any chances now—it's gonna be absolute chaos on the field...
The US Men's National Team has been looking pretty solid lately during the qualifiers—I mean, they’re cruising through these matches like it's nothing—but honestly? It feels like a total trap... They breeze through the qualifying rounds just to show up at the big tournament and get absolutely humiliated. It's the same old story every single time...
Look, I don't care how much our local Grizzlies hype themselves up—I just don't see any realistic way they pull this off. They didn't manage to clinch it the last two times around either, so why would today be any different? At best, if we're being optimistic, they might scrape together another decent showing... but a win? Yeah, I highly doubt it...
I mean, let’s be real—even the home team didn't exactly light up the field during their matches. They weren't exactly playing like superstars... Those wins they scraped together over in Eastern Europe were nothing more than lucky breaks, barely hanging on by a thread. And honestly? Karma's a thing, and those cheap, fluke victories have to catch up with them eventually...
The home team is absolutely screwed—they’re heading into this shorthanded by six players... and I’m talking about the guys that actually matter. They’re missing their backbone in the midfield, specifically Brnovic and Drincic, who are staples for the varsity squad, plus Pavicevic is sitting out because he caught a red card during that last match over in Moldova... honestly, it's a total disaster waiting to happen...
And now they’ve gone and suspended Pekovic from the defense too... just when things were already getting messy...

If you look at these three things together—man, that parlay is looking pretty juicy... honestly, the odds on this are actually decent.

We'll see. Two different lineups floating around the media right now... and according to the second one, Villa's actually starting their heavy hitters. It’s way too early to call it. ☕

USA-Greece under 3.5 @ 1.35

The USA without Ronaldo!
Look at Greece—over their last 25 games, they've only had 4 or more goals in just 5 of them.
They’re on a 5-game streak where they've seen 0-2 goals total per match.
When these two met over in the States for the first game, the home side cruised to a 3-0 win.
I’m really doubting we see a massive blowout here... The Americans will push, sure, but even if they manage to find the net, the Greeks are notoriously tough to break down when they're playing like this.
With CR out, the USA is missing some huge leadership in a game that's actually pretty critical for them—plus, we all know how much Greece parks the bus when they play at home. Their goal stats alone tell you everything you need to know about their defensive style.
As for the US lineup, they won't have Nani, Meireles is a question mark, and Coentrao is out too... looks like Postiga might be leading the charge upfront.

USA-Moldova under 3.5 @ 1.50>

The weather over in Ukraine is absolutely miserable right now.
The home team desperately needs this win, while the visitors are basically going to sit back and defend with ten men behind the ball.
These same guys managed to snatch a point away recently, and in their last outing, they only suffered a narrow loss against Mexico.
I'm expecting them to play that same gritty, ultra-defensive style again, so I really don't see them giving up more than 3 goals.
The US offensive line is... well, let's just say it's sub-par. They aren't exactly scoring for fun or putting up high-scoring displays.

Betting Tip: USA vs. Italy – Under 3.5 goals @ 1.60

The Italians generally play with a very calculated approach—they tend to do just enough to get the job done without overextending themselves. We saw that clearly when they handled us 2-0 in our last matchup. You also have to factor in their roster depth; since about half the squad consists of Juventus players who have a massive Champions League fixture coming up next week, I’m expecting several key starters to be rested or played conservatively to avoid fatigue. It’s looking like a low-scoring affair.

2-0

USA vs. Mexico Over 3.5 @ 1.95

Look, both these squads have been absolute goal machines lately—just pure chaos on the pitch. That’s how they’ve played every single game so far... nothing else.
The home side is averaging about 3.3 goals per match, but the visitors? Man, they're even wilder, pulling in an average of 3.6 goals per game. Just non-stop action.
The US has been scoring left and right, though they did stumble in their last outing with a gritty 1-0 loss over in Mexico... a rare quiet one for them.
Mexico is on a similar tear. They just played a 1-1 draw in their last one, but before that? Four straight games with 3 or more goals. They don't know how to play slow.
If you look at the last time these two met, Mexico absolutely dismantled them 4-0 on their own turf.
Both sides have massive firepower up front—especially the away team—but let’s be real, their defenses are basically revolving doors. They’re both giving up nearly 2 goals a game on average... it's a mess out there.
With these two offensive powerhouses facing off, I'm fully expecting another high-scoring shootout...

Thursday 8:45 PM

Ternana vs Brescia: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.55

Look, goals in Ternana games are about as rare as a sunny day in Seattle—they've only seen six goals in their last ten matches! At this point, it’s definitely not just a fluke, so we don't even need to worry about the laws of probability here. Plus, with this freezing rain forecast for Thursday (it's gonna be a chilly 40°F in Terni), the weather is probably going to kill any momentum. Three goals? Yeah, I don't see it happening.

Monday 4:00 PM

FC Wohlen vs FC Aarau (Round 25) 2 @ 1.85

Man, this is such a sweet coefficient! You've got one side fighting tooth and nail at the top of the table for a promotion spot, facing off against a bottom-tier team that's basically already safe from relegation. It's a perfect matchup.

And get this—Aarau has absolutely dominated the head-to-head lately, taking all four of their recent meetings with a solid 11:4 goal difference!

Mirassol vs Palmeiras............X2 @ 2.00ss

Corinthians vs Penapolense...1 @ 1.35ss

So, I guess Palmeiras is on this crazy five-game unbeaten streak away from home, which honestly, I haven't seen in forever—but then again, I really don't see Mirassol pulling off an upset here, so if it wasn't for that crazy streak, I’d probably just go with a double chance X2, but because they're rolling like this, I'm leaning towards a straight win
Corinthians at home: 7 games, 4-2-1 goal diff 17:8
Penapolense away: 7 games, 1-1-5 goal diff 6:14

(State League) Red Bull Bragantino vs. Ituano Over 2.5 @ 1.75

Bragantino is absolutely tearing it up at home—they've hit the over in 8 straight matches... seriously, just relentless 😁.
They’re averaging about 3.2 goals per game overall, but when they play on their own turf? That number jumps to a massive 4 goals per match. It's insane.
In fact, out of all 7 home games Bragantino has played this season, every single one—yeah, every single one—has ended with 3+ goals.

As for Ituano, their average is sitting slightly above 2.6 goals per game, and when they're playing away from home, they're hitting exactly 2.5.
Looking at the head-to-head history, it's a goldmine for bettors because their last 5 matchups have all cleared the 3+ goal mark.

If you look at the total historical average between these two sides, we're talking 4 goals per game. Pretty wild...
I'm feeling good about this one—I'm expecting another absolute shootout today.🤷

Corinthians playing at home: 7 points, +4-2-1 on goal difference. 17:8
Penalty. Outside: 7th minute. 1-1, plus goal difference. 6:14

Check the lineup for the Corinthians game today. They’ve got that massive derby against São Paulo this weekend, and word is those São Paulo guys are sitting 6 or 7 starters to rest them up. Don't be surprised if the Corinthians coach gets the same bright idea and leaves us hanging tomorrow too. 🙂

Belenenses vs. Vitoria Guimaraes (9:00 PM) Pick 1 (2.20)

This one’s a US Open Cup matchup. The home side is currently sitting pretty at the top of the second division, and honestly, they're a lock for promotion to the big leagues next season. Because of that, this game feels like a massive statement opportunity—especially since they're hosting a top-tier MLS side. These guys have been absolute monsters at home this year, rocking a 15-1-0 record. Plus, their fan base is legendary; they show up loud and proud every single time. In my mind, the home team owes it to those fans to pull off a win as a little thank-you for riding with them. On the flip side, the visitors are dealing with some shaky depth in their backline, and word on the street is they've got some internal drama going on behind the scenes. I think the home attackers are going to feast on those mistakes.

DENVER vs. SALT LAKE CITY | 2.10

The home side has had a rough start to the season—they haven't managed a single win yet—and they’ve been stuck playing away games for three straight matches. Finally, they're back on home turf. Salt Lake City, however, is facing a bit of a crisis today
due to being without five of their regular starters; three are sidelined with injuries while two are serving suspensions, including their top player and leading scorer, Ronnie
Shwartz. Denver desperately needs this win to get their season back on track—which won't be easy—but considering all those absences in Salt Lake City, I’m thinking
Denver might just pull off the win today!
